I'm a former DI wrestler for Princeton University now switching gears to jiujitsu. I've started teaching wrestling at Theory Jiujitsu Studio in Appleton, Wisconsin.
After my first competition, I found the sweep single to be a very effective leg attack for taking down opponents my size or bigger. It feels cool to hit, too :).
Check out this candid, quick clip from practice and start working on your sweep singles!
I plan on making structured videos on technique, instructionals, and more going forward.

Awesome stuff - can you please do tutorials on wrestling throws/sweeps/takedowns which do not involve going down to one knee? Thanks!
Great suggestion! Will add that to my list. In the meantime, my new instructional has some takedowns that don't require hitting a knee and it's free :). Here it is payhip.com/b/LUDSE

Good job bro, good tutorial.
Thank you, I appreciate it. If you want tutorials on anything else, let me know. In the meantime, I'll keep at it
👍👌, do you put the hand on the floor for balance?
When people first learn it, I recommend they use that hand on the floor for balance. Once you're comfortable, you don't need to put that hand on the floor. I have a course for sweep singles coming out soon with all the nitty gritty details. Stay tuned!
