  • Fun fact, the Christmas pickle is actually a tradition that originated in Germany. Also this is the third time Jimmy has talked about The Santa Clause and has been uncertain about which movie it is

    • Is it specific to certain regions in the US perhaps? I'm in the southwest and I'd never heard of it until a few years ago when my brother-in-law (who is from the northeast) brought it up. I must have had the same look as Jimmy here when it came up, just thinking things like "is this a joke? you have to be making this up!" and "but why? what's the point?" Pure confusion.

  • I’m loving this so much. I love hearing about other traditions. As an American, I’d also like to point out that the first time I found out about Yorkshire pudding, I made the mistake of thinking it was a custard type dessert. I was very disappointed 😅 The ice castle courtyard is soooo pretty!! 🤩

  • Might be a bit late to suggest this now, but it would be cool if you invited someone from non-english countries and ask them about their christmas traditions, because as a Norwegian I've realised that we have a lot of traditions that are quite different from yours. Some ideas for guests could be Keralis, Iskall and Docm77 :)

  • 1.Gem's castle is incredible what the heck 2. Katherine made that Christmas wish so bloody adorable that I'm afraid I have to agree on Toy Town 3.I feel like a christmassy train set/track would look incredible in this town 4. These videos genuinely bring me so much joy and are fast becoming my favourite part of the day when they come out ❤🎄

  • I love hearing about how everyone has their own ways of celebrating Christmas and how the traditions differ in different places. It’s so funny to me how presents on Christmas Eve or opening presents in the afternoon are considered uncommon when where I’m from majority of Christmas celebrations happen on Christmas Eve and traditionally we open presents the afternoon of the Eve. Love how this series has both cozy and chaotic vibes. Cant wait to see what comes next! 😊

  • I’ve missed this type of content from you guys so much. It feels like it’s been years, because all the SMP’s you all do are so planned out. I really hope whatever next SMP you all do will be more focused on your friendships and just having fun. I feel like that hasn’t happened since XLife😅 Also, I’m so glad Katherine is here too.   • im filipino and we start celebrating Christmas as soon as september 1st hits, in fact that our news channels have a christmas countdown that is shown everyday. additionally we also have noche buena to build up to christmas eve and simbang gabi on christmas eve plus we dont really have christmas trees but have christmas star lights called a parol that most people in the provinces make and sell for themselves and others. 😊

  • i've heard of this christmas pickle idea but as a canadian my family hasn't done that lol we do an exchange type of thing where we pick a color and a budget and with no labels on the wrapped gifts, you either get to open a gift or take a gift from someone else and then that person choses what to do next and at the end there's a last chance to take a gift and stuff :P

  • growing up we'd have mom's family's christmas on christmas eve, where the matriarchs made dinner and we'd sing carols in our living room, eat holiday/soul food, and then open presents from them before everyone left once the party vibes died down. then christmas morning we'd open the gifts from mom and dad, have breakfast, and enjoy our presents before going to whoever was hosting dad's family christmas and enjoy holiday dinner/soul food with them before their family presents.

  • As a Canadian in BC, Yorkshire puddings are definitely a thing with roast beast. We usually have that on Boxing Day cuz Xmas was turkey dinner. For Gem to say it’s just an east coast thing made me mad 😆 Just like the UK we’ve done Xmas crackers too but it depends on who we’re having dinners at. Our house we read a bunch of stories Xmas Eve & go for a holiday light walk, weather permitting. Love this series. 🎄🎅🏼

  • It has become a tradition that on Christmas morning after we open presents I’ll make pancakes for breakfast before we get dressed and head to church, this will be the third year in a row that I do that

  • I know it's a hard ask but what about getting zombie Cleo on this series!!!! I know you may not be the closest to her but her armor stand magic with that armor stand mod is just amazing. She can bring real life to that Christmas town.

  • In australia we do gifts in the afternoon. As adults not everyone can show up at once. We just eat, do christmas stuff, hang out with family. When everyone is here, we have THE christmas dinner with Yorkshire pudding and after food, we do gifts.
