Other preview commenters have mentioned that melee combat is in the game. Some of the animations looked stiff but acceptable.

The amount of guns is concerning tho, didn't see any hand-to-hand combat at all.
They use reaaally slow bullets. Or they just like nuclear explosions from shields.
It's possible guns might be used since shields attract sandworms,(at least in the books) still worried about the lack of melee though
They explained you won't be able to shoot shields, came up with lore reason that guns have a safety feature, preventing the nuclear reactions.

No worm riding, No sandwalk, No hand to hand combat with close up knife and sword executions. No desert bike shootouts, No traversal parkour during gunfights. The main protagonist literally has one expression throughout the whole trailer. There is still so much work that needs to go into this game.
It looks more like a scam project then actual game.
It's a survival game. Not a story game. There is no protagonist. It's multiplayer.
They had a sandwalk but actively chose to take it out because it would've been a boring mechanic that took too long to go from one place to the next.

Remember guys, this game is maybe 80% PvP-focused with base raiding like Rust where in the more later parts of the game, you are almost always forced to PvP, so if you want to chill and explore then this game is not for you.
