Why you NEVER f*** with Djokovic.

Novak Djokovic probably would have beaten Alex de Minaur at the 2023 Australian Open in any circumstances, but he might not have humiliated the Demon at his native AO if the Aussie had bit his tongue a year earlier. Was this classless from Djokovic, or should de Minaur have known what to expect?

    • Before there was a polio vaccine everybody didn’t contract polio. The fact that not everybody contracted polio before there was a vaccine is not evidence in the slightest that there wasn’t a need for the polio vaccine. The same could be said for every virus for which there is a vaccine. It is possible that a person could never have any vaccines during their life and never contract any virus for which there is a vaccine. That result is simply beating the odds and not evidence of the need or effectiveness of vaccines. In the US the death rates from Covid in states whose population was predominantly Democratic was virtually the same as death rates in states whose population was predominantly Republican, which is an expected result because a virus does not care what political party a person is affiliated with. However, once the vaccine became available throughout the US, the Covid death rates in Democratic states was a fraction of the Covid death rates in Republican states. The difference being attributable to the vaccine being politicized by Republicans so that people who were Republican didn’t get vaccinated in far greater numbers than Democrats being vaccinated. If the vaccine wasn’t needed or effective there wouldn’t have been a difference in death rates among the states, as was the case before the vaccine became available.
