The Levi 501's were orange tags before they were red, so if you ever run into a orange tag Levi tag. They are very vintage and very highly pricey... Thank me later
I recently got a pair of levi 501s from a local thrift store for $5 with orange labels. I thought it looked weird, but I assumed that it was really faded

That's funny, I just mentioned to someone a few days ago about remembering a DVD rental service that delivered to your mailbox, but I never made the connection that it was Netflix at the beginning..
I'm a carpenter and I have worked on many many Pizza Hut's, Here is something. That shape on top of the roof is called a Coupalo, and it's shape is part of there trademark along with that color red. So when a new restaurant is built before selling the old building, the top section ( the coupalo ) has to be removed and the roof has to be re painted if it is the red color.
Cool....
Interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Very interesting. Thank you for sharing.
Let me guess, the roof is copy protected... hence why the roof gotta go when a new restraint moves in. Well unless is another franchised Pizza hut which isn't happening seeing how the original went under. Have noticed one exception, when Pizza hut combines with another restraint like Five Guys and a Burger... guess roof stays as long as part of the store IS Pizza Hut.
@@jamesloll4601 There are still plenty of pizza huts in buisness. we also build new stores. If you see any new stores the design is just diffrent now. More of a generic rectangle building, but the old roof shape is still in the sinage. but yes in smaller towns we will remodel the older blds. and leave the roof as is to save money
Wendy, the eponymous red-haired character of the American fast-food company, has the word "Mom" in the center of her collar, which is supposed to represent the family-friendly atmosphere of the restaurant and food that is (a bit of a stretch now, I suppose) like "Mom's home-cooked meal."
Yeah I know that one too!
Man you people will fish for anything 🙄
jeez mom why you gotta roast so many people?
Levi's used to guarantee their product. Right on the patch, it said "A new pair free of they rip" which was symbolized by the mules pulling on the legs. At $3.98 a pair (or maybe even $2.98), I got a lot of distance out of split Levi's, regardless of the other wear. Western Ranchman Outfitters in Cheyenne was the best source, and they always stood behind the guarantee.
A new pair free of what?

I got to get a tour thru the Toyota plant in Evansville, Indiana and watch how a car goes from metal to being made into a car which was awesome. My niece works there. And it is neat to watch.
I used to deliver the tires there. Have also hauled Ford, GM, Chrysler, Suzuki, International, Freightliner parts. Most people wouldn't believe how much product comes from small towns in this country.

I used to work retail and Levi’s were an item we sold. The bat wings on the pocket also underwent changes. Believe me, our customers noticed and they didn’t like it.
Regarding the Beats Electronics logo "b" at the 19:50 mark - I don't know if you have seen the "b" for the energy drink called "Bang", but it is also very similar to the Beats "b".

Nice informative video. Is it necessary to have those pop in windows? Reminds me of TV shows with laugh in the background, for those that do not know when to laugh
Wow. The toyoto's and VIOS's logos left me amazed!
I've seen the logo of pepsi before 2008 and it's honestly just fine so I wonder why they bothered to change it. I actually like the older one better.

But why would they call it Netflix when it was a mail service that had absolutely nothing to do with the internet? I definitely remember mail service DVD rentals similar to Redbox but by mail, only I don't remember it being Netflix and I simply can't remember the actual name of the service; As if it were removed from my memory like some sort of Mandela Effect. I could remember seeing the circular logo of the Otis Elevator Company. It has the name Otis inside a world globe in cursive writing., based on Elisha G. Otis's handwritten signature and inside the image, shows latitude and longitude lines, represents their international presence in the civilized world.
I only know Otis for the escalators
I drove for a company that hauled a lot of them. The dedicated fleet had specialized trailers to unload them at job sites.
for the toblarone bear, i saw the bear like 5 seconds before it was pointed out, i guess it was just the first time i have seen the logo zoomed in like that
I was in my mid teens before I found out that the McDonald "golden arches" weren't a reference to the big golden "M" of their signs but an actual architectural feature of early McDonalds restaurants. (similar to the Pizza Hut logo). Apparently early Taco Bell buildings also featured a mission bell, though the company is actually named after their founder Glen Bell.
Making things look like a coincidence kind of makes people think that the business is perfect! It's an emotional marketing strategy!

The reason the public version of Walt Disney's signature is different from his real signature is to drastically reduce the publics ability to forge his real signature on legal documents. This is standard practice among most celebrities' when signing autographs. I've been around several successful people and their real signatures are very closely guarded . Walt Disney's public relations team probably came up with the signature difference excuse as a cover story when or if the difference ever cane out in the public.
makes sense
And his real signature was a mess and wouldn’t work very well as a logo.
Understood. I changed my signature when I was on active duty due to it being forged and we wanted to catch the culprit(s). With the job I did I could order and receive high dollar equipment plus sign out antiques from the post's museum.
WHAT A SECRET!
Fun fact, the bear in the toblarone bear is also inspired by the old swiss maps where they hid animals in the level lines in the montains, mostly bears but also other animals

Often overlooked or forgotten with the TOYOTA logo is the fact, that the founder originally developed and produced weaving and sewing machines. The interwoven ovals therefore also represent a graphic simplification of a thread that is pulled through the eyelet of a sewing needle. "Toyoda invented and innovated numerous textile-focused weaving devices, introducing innovative fueling systems used to power his Toyoda-branded machines." (Wikipedia)

To me, the Beats logo looks like a music note, albeit it would be facing backwards. The Toyota badge is also a "T" over the globe and the top ring is also a "crown", which is what a large part of their car names mean in other languages - or are closely related to kings like the Avalon or halos like the Toyota Corona and other ring shapes.
I miss Pizza Hut when I was younger! That thick, greasy, very tasty pizza. Such quality and fun to eat and enjoy! I sure do miss that! Although still around here, I haven't been to Pizza Hut for many years now. But I will say that about 2 or 3 months ago I did have the best pizza I ever had, from this place up the road. It was their "taco pizza". They didn't have it made every day. Just occasionally they made it, but I just heard from an employee I know that they are not making that one anymore. And when I really was craving it and was going to see about getting a slice the next available day. It's not a chain restaurant. Just a personally owned one in this one location in the countryside where I lived.
Okay, so now I know what brand of jeans Bruce Wayne would wear. Edit: You can make a "D" in the curves of the Toyota logo, so now it even references the original "Toyoda" name.
I'm from a super small town in NC called "New Bern" and we use that same exact yellow, red, and black bear logo as our city's mascot. Ironically, it's also the birth place of Pespi where that history sign for "Brad's drink" is located 😎

Whenever I see the Pepsi logo, USA doesn't come to mind, Dutchland does. Apart from the union jack and some nordic crosses, most red/white/blue flags were influenced by the Dutch national flag. And considering the US constitution was copied from our own, it's not a stretch to think their flag borrowed the Dutch color scheme as well.
The funny thing is. Back in the early 1900's, the new and flegeling company, Pepsi offered to sell the whole company to the Coca Cola company, for one hundred dollars. Coke declined the offer, stating that they can bury them, anyways. after all, a little competition never has hurt anyone.

Along with that saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" I also love to say "If you don't know how to make something right, don't make it". I also say often "If you don't know how to do a job, get out of the business". I might also add "and do something you do know how to do". I've seen too many "professionals" do things badly/wrong. I have learned alot of things over the decades and know when I see someone do their job wrong, like furnace repair, electricians and more. I don't claim to know everything, but I do know alot. I put alot of effort and time into being knowledgeable about many things. For a long time I was unable to get a job or couldn't because of health issues, so I had alot of time to learn and think hard and pay attention to details, so technically I can be considered a scientist, but not recognised officially as one with some degree. Before the health issues I could have done so many things and having many skills and experience, yet couldn't have a job, as the schooling here taught in a horrible way and I couldn't move on in class until others were caught up, so I got bored and tired of waiting, etc and ended up not getting good grades and blah blah blah... So I had no proof of what I was capable of and being more shy then I was not getting work, and then the health problem became the problem later too. And of course people don't listen to me about anything I know even if at some point I prove myself right later and things go wrong and still they don't listen, so all my knowledge is being wasted and there was no point if me knowing so much or getting experience in my younger days. And of course I do get p'd off about it every time.

The Baskin-Robbins logo has a hidden feature. The curves of the B and the side of the R make 31 when put together. This stands for the 31 flavors of the company. Me, in my childhood ignorance, always saw it just as a 31 with weird parentheses. Honestly, the Hyundai logo looks more like an inverted N to me than an H, and it does kind of look like Honda as well. This is coming from someone who doesn't have an interest in cars, so I imagine lots of people disagree... but if I had to name car brands in rapid succession I would probably get Hyundai wrong, while definitely nailing Toyota. Although honestly I recognize that one more because the center part looks like a bull's head with horns than anything that was described in the video.
My thoughts exactly, Hyundai is merely an Italic "Honda"
The Nasa logo also has star clusters. In fact the Pleides cluster is a symbol on the Subaru car maker's logo. It's easily identifiable, small and fills in background spaces nicely. Just saying...
I like Toyota brand but I like it even more now. The logo actually spells the brand's name. Clever.

As a computer shop salesperson when Sony introduced his VAIO gamme of computers, we were clearly informed about its meaning : it was due to the fact all these products were equipped with one or several FireWire (IEEE 1394, FireWire is the registered Apple name) ports, named iLink by Sony, and firstly used by new DV cassette camcorders.
