Avengers: Endgame is the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far, tying together all the MCU films with a nice little bow and giving us a fun adventure with Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Hulk and more. Although the movie is definitely a good time, it also raises some questions! Like why didn’t the heroes wait for Captain Marvel? Why didn’t they start the mission by loading up on Pym particles? Where did Loki go? What kind of weird stuff did Captain America have to do while returning the infinity stones? How didn’t Thanos notice the the stones were not on his gauntlet anymore?
To answer all these questions and more, step inside the pitch meeting that led to Avengers: Endgame! It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience!

    • I realized that as well. This movie came off like some series finale. Obviously a lot of money was put into these movies, but it was kind of like episodic TV. These characters work better in a TV format anyway, so it’s kind of amazing that nobody decided to try this a couple decades ago.

    • @@paullooper1090 Could she? Considering we don’t know exactly what her powers entail I think that it’s reasonable to simply assume she couldn’t. Also Thanos nearly died after two uses, and he was born strong, she was born human than imbued with some tesseract juice.

    • Also Thor. I mean, he took the full force of a star that was hot enough to forge Stormbreaker, meaning he is tougher than Stormbreaker, which itself is tougher than both Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet. But do not look to comic books for consistent powers.

    • @Wayne Bruce you make it sound like it's a bad thing. Anyways, CGI armies are definitely not exclusive to Avengers. Aquaman had a very large scale CGI battle on the same scale as the one in Endgame. Star Wars did the large CGI battle thing in the prequels. Armies aren't always going to have humans only, so CGI is necessary.
