The air compressor and wood shavings being vacuumed was super satisfying.
The way this is worded had me curious and OMG SO GOOD!
So true
I KNOW, right ?
Totally agree.
It was really cool to see it all just shoot right into the hose! It's kind of funny to watch!
You are always the best
utterly fantastic! stunna!
He actually did turn what was proposed on the thumbnail!
The most original wood dude on KZheads.
I was wishing that you would put some logo’s or some hallmarks on those 💖lovely beautiful verse👍🏼
Stunning. Functional art worthy of a Market Street art gallery, kudos.
Beautiful, Olivier.
Very elegant standing vase.
Impressive and outstanding work of art, very neat indeed, congratulations, well done job, please keep up the good work, from the endless summer paradise Puerto Rico, Jesús Torres.
Beautiful Craftsmanship
Great job. Really excellent
Well done 👍
Excellent work.
I lost the puzzle letter video. Such great craftmanship.
VERY BEAUTIFUL, CRAFTS IN THE HIGHEST CLASS. LODIS CONGRATULATIONS.
It wants to be a balloon, and now I want to make one, as a balloon lamp. Thanks for the inspiration.
I always look forward to seeing what your brain comes up with.
Ash and Walnut-good combination! 👍
Your creative imagination feeds your considerable wood-crafting skills to produce the simple, elegant, beautiful pieces we love. Thank you.
You're a wood-turning wizard.
Stunning!!
Great project, Well executed!
beautifully sharp tools, that live steady is something else.....👍 well done.
Great work. That's some serious equipment you have there. I am so jealous.
How beautiful! You crazy clever guy! 👏🏼🤍👏🏼🤍
You should've titled it "This wood-turned out better than I expected"
top-end machinery + professional tools + experience = great work
Have never liked glued-up turnings…until now. This really looks classy, reminiscent of both a lute and a Greek urn. Nicely done!
glue ups look great as long as the pattern is the intent, if its just to use up bits of wood its not really helpful
Well done. You are very talented. Furthermore this video was very enjoyable. Thanks for posting.
Do you get tired of hearing how amazing your art work is ? Lol. Wow!!
I say that you have given or made a DIAMOND from a wood. EXCELLENT WORK.
The fact that you not only come up with these ideas but then figure out how to make them happen is amazing
Golf on KZhead
Beautiful
WOW, Never knew there was a steady rest for wood.
Your designs are unbelievable! Beautiful as always!
So beautiful. Reminds me a bit of a hot air balloon. Lovely shape.
Wow, that is beautiful. Bravo.
This turned out beautifully, and with such perfect symmetry.
You have some serious talent, Mr. Gomis. I thoroughly enjoy your videos and your masterpieces. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you so much for these videos Olivier, they are inspiring !
Very pretty. Nice shape.
Love that jig you put in place to support the project as you hollowed it out! Really cool how it supports it all the way around and let's the lathe run normally.
Another beautiful work of art from the mind of Olivier Gomis.
Incredible bit of woodturning. Scary to watch a pro woodturner in action. Thanks.
My word Olivier, your creativity and imagination is boundless. Beautiful vase
A vase.... I was thinking a giant wooden top or a hot air ballon. Great job
Nice work!
Always a pleasure to watch and never a disapointment...
Another great piece Oliver. Thanks for sharing it.
That's a beautiful piece! My uncle was heavy into turning and he showed me a piece that he made. It was not a glue up, similar shape to yours here but taller. He had painstakingly turned the wall thickness down to where he could lower a lightbulb inside and light could be seen through the wall. It was quite amazing. Someday when I have space and time available I want to take up this hobby and see what kind of work I'm capable of. Please keep sharing your skills!
Stunning, absolutely stunning. I am in awe 🌞
Glad I watched this. Was pleasantly surprised by the results. Beautiful!
That's some heavy duty roughing gouge.

This guy looks like a kid, and yet he's such a terrific artist. Love the shop, BTW.
Olivier, you are a true artist.
Oliver, your talent is always a pleasure to watch. If you are ever looking inspiration, have a look at the work of Joesph Walsh, here in Cork, Ireland. I was lucky enough to get a guided tour of his workshop. You would love it but just Google him and be inspired. My favourite piece that you did was the One Ring lamp. Pure talent
Awesome piece, well done 👍

I love how it looks like a hot air balloon, gorgeous
I was thinking if he segmented the strips and used a bright dye, boom hot air balloon.
So creative. So original. You definitely have your own style, so much that I knew it was you as soon as I saw the thumbnail. Beautiful work.
Absolutely beautiful work!
