  • How in the world do you only have 179k subscribers? Your techniques are at least equal, if not superior to, so many other channels. The "improvised" tools you use in each video are certainly professionally made ( steadyrest, hollowing rig) ... nevermind the "inside the vessel while turning" shot! I do not think I've seen that anywhere else. Fantastic work!

  • Wasn’t sure what sort of “stitches”you were referring to in the title, so I’m glad it didn’t involve a trip to the hospital. That piece looks amazing! Also, I’m impressed by the way you were able to keep the piece stable through the process. Kudos!!

  • 🪵 Incroyablement cool.

    • Yes, I saw that title, and I was expecting to see a KZhead warning about blood & gore! Thank goodness that did not happen, and they turned out to be wooden stitches. Olivier always amazes me with the detailed work on his pieces.

  • Great use of what was literally fire wood. The “stitches” are a great addition giving stability, interest, and beauty. I thought you had a wonderful vase as you applied the finish and the colors and grain woke up. Was concerned when you drilled the hole in the bottom. Then as you chiseled out the groove I understood where you were going. This is a beautiful lamp. Well done! BTW, your jigs are fantastic as well. I’m sure you could have done this without them, but your jigs really enhanced and sped your work. Excellent job with all of it. Thank you for sharing.
