    • You have EVs to thank for that, the teardrop design is a must in EVs because it's the most aerodynamic shape to reduce drag and improve efficiency.

    • I agree! I feel SUV/trucks are suppose to have a masculine, rugged look and feel to them. Keep those feminine and dainty curved body styles for the crossover soccer moms and leave our off road tanks alone!

  • Lexus, you did not miss on this one. Thank you. This will be a classic. Only gripe I got is the AC/Heated seats integrated in the touch screen. Hopefully in future year models you will have physical buttons for it. Literally all manufacturers need to stop doing this

  • This is the first new Lexus is the last 10 years that I was immediately impressed with the styling and design. It’s handsome, aggressive, but also subtle and refined. Please, continue designing your vehicles with this same language. I guarantee Lexus will see a massive jump in popularity. The past designs have actually been what kept me away from buying a Lexus, but I would be proud to own one of these. Great job.

    • Completely agree. The previous ones- any with that obnoxious 'spindle grille' concept- are too dispiritingly ugly to drive. Looks like they finally fired the tacky running shoe designer responsible for that. Will be getting one of these.

  • I don't care what anyone say I really think Lexus Did a good job with the GX design, as Lexus is starting to introduce more SUVs into their line up with the new TX coming soon, they really made a point in making this SUV stand out from the more generic design on the LX and prior Lexus SUV models. I almost get Land Rover vibes with this new brawny off-roady and more upright design.

  • I gotta tell you, I'm loving the new GX's off-road capabilities! Those 33" tires, center and rear locker, and that 8,000 lbs towing capacity are just awesome. Off-road enthusiasts are totally raving about it too, and I can totally see why. It's got this rugged and aggressive look that sets it apart from other Lexus SUV models, and it's even drawing comparisons to legendary off-road vehicles like the Land Rover Defender and the Mercedes G-Class. I dig it!

  • Former owner of a new GMC Denali, a Ranger Rover Sport V8 Supercharged, and a Range Rover Sport V8 naturally aspirated, I just purchased a new 2023 GX460 Premium Plus with a handful of options, including a must have trailer hitch. Call me boring, but I wanted an old school balanced and tuned to perfection naturally aspirated V8, no hybrid nonsense anywhere to be found, and with such a refined smooth transmission, Mark Levinson Surround, this GX is truly a work of art inside and out. I loved my GMC Denali, it was super reliable and the engine note was otherworldly along with having a ton of power, I think this GX is going to be a much better fit for me realistically.

  • I am just really hoping there is some sort of semblance of the 2000 LX470. Ever since I heavily modified my 100 series 7 years ago I fell in love with the car. Ever since then I have always said that if Lexus ever released an updated model it would easily compete with the G-class’ from Mercedes. I can’t wait to see what Lexus has in store for us! Time to give Mercedes a run for their money! 💪

  • I am absolutely not disappointed with this redesign. Always liked the GX but couldn't get around the dismal gas mileage. Hope this will solve that problem.
