I came for the thumbnail. It's more a little annoying when videos use a fake picture not seen on the video
How could you complain about this video? I’ve never seen so many trees crash into so many houses!
Well, how many tree falling videos do you want?
Yeah me too. Thanks for the heads-up. I'm out.
@@stevencoons450Agreed but fyi, there are a few gems.
Her name is not Ruth her name is karen this women is such a karen
Notice other telltale actions: lack of proper safety gear, dull chains (dust instead of chips). There’s always indications that things will go poorly
Thanks for reminding us of these clips we saw 10 years ago
The bottle jack.idea was wild!🎉
Genius!!!!
Guy with saw had all the gear and logo outfit, helper dude had no PPE at all. Bush league.
its actually pretty common for loggers in the west coast who need to control a fall from a bad leaner.
All these magnificent ancient trees being cut down to protect from the possibility of falling on absolute piece of crap structures.
I agree
Blame the rich that own the insurance companies ...they make you pay and tell you what they won't insure....😮
You don't know if those are magnificent trees or not. We can't see enough about them to decide whether they are healthy or diseased. Chances are they are unhealthy, or otherwise people would leave them alone. As for crap structures, you'd feel differently if it was YOUR family living in one. Just because people are poor doesn't mean they should live in danger.
@merryhunt9153 stfu did anyone ask? Keep ur worthless opinions to urself
Two men one rope and a gigantic tree. What could possibly got wrong?
anyone can have certificate chainsaw use, but not certificate skill to cut down tree
Well, with enough beer they can do ANYTHING!
2:25 that wasn't a fail, that was a win lmao
Extremely tight squeeze and minimal damage. Win in my book as well!
There are several good drops on here.
That wasn't one of 'em.
You can't outsmart Physics! In tight spaces, start at the top of the tree, incrementally reducing.
On a lot of these, the result isn't a disaster, but the procedure and safety were so bad that it's a minor miracle things didn't go MUCH worse. On a third of these, it's easy to imagine someone getting killed.
The guy putting wedges in while the guy is running saw full bore, inches away. Made ne nervous. At around 12:45
Anytime a video clip starts and someone has the tree tied to their vehicle you know it's a fail.
Not really, They had it tied to close to the tree. Didn't allow for the height of the tree.
Few of the clips were not fails at all, but done perfectly... But there are just few of them
Reminder of why to call a professional. 👍
This is why it's never a good idea to have a friend and three cases of beer to cut down a tree.
Some tasks are just worth saving up $$$$$ to have a professional do!
A couple of these were unavoidable, but the vast majority of these "fails" were due to complete stupidity or ignorance.
Edge-of-your-seat compilation where skill meets risk, featuring lightning-fast chainsaw work and heart-stopping moments of trees falling perilously close to homes
I'm glad you had a great experience watching the video. Thank you very much !
2:26 we learn the difference between a finish shack and an american house.
You can sure tell the pros from the amateur. The hydraulic jack was genius.
Still sad to see the tree 🌲 go.
Our tree dudes start at the top and bring trees down incrementally. Are these old videos?
Its always good to hook the rope to the back bumper of the truck so when the tree falls it will lift the truck off the ground loseing traction! Probably work better to hook to the front of the truck and back away from the tree.
If you gotta do something like that you are probably doing it wrong(talking about using a truck at all).
Some of these you are waiting for something to go wrong and the tree falls just as planned.
To the dude at 13:36. Bruh, that face shield ain't doing you ANY GOOD ON TOP OF YOUR HELMET. Just sayin'
I cut a tree down for my friend that was over power lines and her home. I cut it into manageable pieces, lowered it down and no issues. These are just lazy fools taking chances. 😊
You likely just are lucky
@@diosantana2659 what was he 'lucky' - he said he cut the tree in manageable pieces. Like the pros do; top down with rope and pulleys. He wasn't 'lucky'- he was smart.
Some of these are being dropped on building intentionally.... some are not.
I am convinced that half of these were not accidents and also these people need to brush up on their videography skills because man was that painful
I love it, fantastic.
Not enough trees falling into houses clips. Want to see more goofballs.
Blatant insurance fraud attempts are amusing
this kind of work needs people with brains
Amazing how a tree can turn a man from big man to little idjit in just a few seconds 😂😂😂😂
13:19 dude wearing full ppe and the other dude pumpin the jack in an even more dangerous position wearing absolutely nothing lmao
My mistakes are all out in the forest. I'm fortunate that people don't see. But I've also had some go opposite direction, got a few more hung up in other trees that took some work and a winch get me out of that situation. I can always hear grandpa yelling about it in my head, therefore I'm taking time to stop and think.
Mama,Bubba got loose again, this time he has a chainsaw!
How about some follow thru? Useless to miss ppls reactions and damage assessments.
i know the guy that droped it on the green one story house. he's still a cutter. and a good one.
*YAWN*, show me something I haven't already seen a thousand times
@tooge, Fine. I can show you something. I can fell some giant trees around your house, despite having never even used a chainsaw. 🍭
@@mt.shasta6097 LOL, no, kid, you cannot. As a SAFETY precaution after Katrina, we took down EVERY tree within falling distance, knock yourself out
While we all like to 'think' we know what we are doing, many of us unfortunately do not. And instead we end up costing ourselves more money and creating more and bigger problems.
I like how in their final acts of life they chose to go after these who would end theirs.
There’s a fine line between over complicating things and under complicating when it comes to cutting
I have had 25-30 large tress cut down on my property in the last couple of years. I hired a PROFESSIONAL tree surgeon. He delimbed the trees and then cut the tree in 4 ft. sections and had a ground man pull the short sections in the desired direction. Only a very stupid person would do it any other way.
Well Jim, if you have structures and even buried lines in the way of felling a tree there are numerous ways to properly dispatch them. If you don’t have any of these things, then straight up felling is in order. Any arborist will tell you that ascending a tree and dismantling it is far more dangerous than ground felling. It is necessary to ascend and or use a bucket, but a lot of accidents happen up there. There is a boatload of knowledge to be acquired in either case and it takes a long time to acquire, however even the most seasoned arborists come up against a problem they have never seen before and sometimes it claims their life. So just because you hired people to do the work for you doesn’t mean any other way of doing things is stupid, it just means that you have never seen that before and I can tell you do not know what you are saying.
The one at 1:45 amazes me. What was the plan?
Wow wow 😱
I love the blind faith they show that a strap tied from the tree to a small truck will stop the tree falling on a building. Everyone else can see what is going to happen long before it does but the one with the saw is oblivious
Chào bạn nhiều lắm cắt cơy gioy quá 👍♥️♥️
You’re complaining about the thumbnail? After I read this title I double checked to see if I was smelling burnt toast.
Disappointed. Came for the thumbnail. Seen all these before
Just because you bought a chainsaw at Ace Hardware don't make you a lumberjack.
🤣🤣 ain’t that the truth! 😆
Professional, one and most.🤨
If you are going to try and control the fall with lines, you need to triangulate. I used two long chains which were much stronger than a manageable rope size. A chain looped around the tree as high as you can get it, then attach to that each long chain. Run the long chains out to well spaced anchor trees. Secured with more chain at the base of the anchor trees. Then a separate rope on a winch is attached to the tree at the chain loop. The winch is then anchored to the base of another tree. The chains will stop the tree falling sideways or falling backwards.
Also, a ratchet puller would be helpful to something heavier or more secure for an anchor other than a vehicle.
better idea is get someone that knows what they are doing and are insured
@@MrTruckerf What a stupid question
Surely two people can pull over a 10 ton tree falling the opposite way?
@@danquaylesitsspeltpotatoe8307 not a chance.
"Oops..."
Honey, how's that new sunroom?
Why you hire Pros, not Joes.
an experience had once had a chestnut tree was blocking the sun from my garden if went backwards was going to hit the power lines or the house could not afford the tree going backwards the top was pointed to the power lines put a 40 foot chain at the V of the tree then tied the chain to a come along chained at the trunk of another tree was wanting the tree to go, made my regular relief cut then thought maybe should cut a little above the relief cut at an angle fortune I did as was getting closer to the relief cut the tree went backwards pinching my chain saw onto the angle cut phew then pulled the tree with the come along
Uh...10:25, is that a real lumberjack posture? Looks sketchy to me.
Never hire the cheapest guy with no references😅
0:17 that tree was like “don’t run from m… HEY I SAID DON’T RUN FROM ME!
All specialized skilled workers🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
all those guys are using duel blades and don't have enough experience with a chainsaw be safe god bless
Tree on fire - very desperation cut. Does not count as a fail. You don't have much time and do it although it's risky. IMHO.
Most certainly, a desperate measure for sure, a decision that has to be made in a split second, because the tree is going to fall one way or another, this just chooses the direction of least possible destruction. So yeah, it's not a fail by any means, more of management of risk. There were a lot of "oh sh*t" moments there, as someone pointed out more by amateurs than Professionals.
I'm no arborist, but these people are no arborists.
at 3:00, it reminds me of a mic drop. That was a huge tree too....
Joe Blows tree cutting and building demolition at your service.
2:25 - весьма неплохой результат
🤣🤣🤣
That first clip with the double barber chair gave me the creeps. I bet that dude wakes up at night in a dead sweat over that one. That tree could very easily claimed his life. I have monster respect for western loggers. Their lives are in their hands every day.
Those that fall towards roofs of homes, surely ..a person would use their Noddle, and start cutting a third or more away from the top first, before attacking what's remaining .
Some trees are just too dangerous for that. Unless you have a crane or a bucket truck, which most do not.
@@MrTruckerf yeah, even a cherry picker would not be viable .I get what you're saying. 💐
Wut n tarnation!
Put playback speed on 2. You're welcome.
Just because some one owns a saw does not make them A lumber Jack.
How do some Of these people Have businesses?
Alot of these tree's didn't need too be cut down?
Lesson learned. Hire a professional!

The tree on fire wasn’t a fail though. Trees burning from the inside are cut down often

I really appreciate your support! Thanks for always being here and watching my latest content.
when the guy said oh S i lol
Tongue And Grove Tree
If the saw is throwing chips, then it will go well.
Die Hütte gehört meinem verhassten Nachbarn 😅
Minimum 2 taglines, people, separated by at least 30 degrees. Didn't anybody pay attention in physics?
Equal and opposite forces can be tricky
Sincere thanks to everyone for supporting me by watching the video and giving comments.
When you cut a tree you use your axe or the saw in the direction where you want the tree to fall. We use this method whenever we cut trees. Though not applicable in hilly situation or when the wood is bended a certain direction.
BenT
Tip for you homeowners out there. That rope must be no less that 3/4 of the way up the tree if you can't get it there you have no business cutting that tree down PERIOD. call a pro.
Thank you very much for the advice. It's really helpful.
it pains me to see how many people need to sharpen their saw blades......
I never understood why anyone would use a regular pickup, which does not have the mass needed, to pull trees down. Especially when they most often strap a high load to the rear of the truck where the vehicle weight is the least, which lifts the rear of the truck under engine load and decreases the traction. Strap to the front of the truck where the weight on the drive wheels will increase when the front of the truck lifts driving backwards.
7:16 looked good to me
The higher the tag line the more leverage you have..
à (0:25), J'ai trop rigolé de voir 2 gugus qui font 80Kg (tout mouillés), à retenir un arbre qui en fait + de 400Kg...
The long second to the last video, was the epitome of an anti-climax.🥴
Thank you to all the viewers who have been a part of my channel's community. Your support encourages me to keep creating content that you enjoy and find meaningful.
ah needed a new roof anyway
The sound of a screaming chainsaw, then of screaming people. . music
i use twin battery powered chain saw, cannot stand the bloody noise the petrol ones make
I had a big pine tree cut down in my backyard. The guy said he had to cut it down in pieces from the top, because the weight of it hitting the ground in one piece would collapse my well. I asked him how much it weighed and he estimated it to be 10 or 12 tons. I never thought about the weight of it. That's why it's so humorous to see a couple of guys with a rope thinking they could determine where a tree that size would fall. No way. Even if they tied a truck to it, it was going to go down the way that it did.
I don't think we don't wanna see trees falling on people's houses
Das letzte Video tut echt weh 🤦♂️
what I don't get is - where is the 'what if' planning? As in- let's move theses cars 'just in case' - that type of 'what if'- not to mention that biggest 'what if' "What if we just call in a professional." The bottle jack tree was great- definitely 'out of the box' thinking and it worked perfectly.
I thought these were fails?!
0:28 Tons of wet lumber vs a few hundred pounds of flesh. Better to use the van as an anchor instead of a target. 1:13 Using the vehicle as an anchor AND a target is also sub-optimal.
Wenn man ein Baumhaus bauen möchte, sollte man darauf achten dass das Haus auf dem Baum gehoert.Nicht umgekehrt😂
