Don't be scared to do your own oil change! It's super easy and a whole lot cheaper than going to a mechanic. Hopefully this video helps you. Thanks for watching :)

  • Give it another Glug !? Is that even a word !! :) I laughed ! You have a calm voice. Watching you doing it makes me want to do this myself too without the anxiety of screwing up something. Last time I spent $106 USD at the shop to get this done. That is with discounts. When you go there they get you to do all kinds of unnecessary things and we don't know enough to say no. Thanks bro ! You rock ! Keep'em comin' !

  • Excellent work! You may want to specify the size of sockets used and the specific quantity of oil needed. Excellent views as well. Bravo

  • Can you use Full Synthetic 5W-30 on this car? Or better using thicker 10W-40?

    • Use the oil recommended in your owners manual for the ambient temperatures you expect to encounter before your next oil change. Comply with the API specification. Both will be on the oil bottle. Change at the intervals required based on how you use your vehicle. Your engine will thank you!

    • Depends where you live and the climate mate. Here in Australia the Mitsubishi dealers are using Helix HX7 10w-30. You’d be using a bit thinner oil if you are in a colder climate.
