Anyone who has listened to Colin for years knows he has favoritism for USC QBs and the west coast in general. He absolutely loved Mark Sanchez and is one of the few remaining national voices that still talks about Russel Wilson like he is still elite.

Agree. Hope he does well, but history is the best predictor of the future. A) Chicago doesn't advance anyone's QB career B) USC hasn't churned out even a decent quality QB since Carson Palmer in 2003 (Sanchez, Leinart, Darnold, Barkley, Kessler,...)

The JJM volume take is interesting in that passing is about rhythm and if he was good at 4-6 a game with no rhythm, logically, he would be better at a higher rate. Other than the TCU game, the kid made the right reads and throws in the most crucial moments of games, especially the most important games. Even in the TCU game, he kept fighting to the end, despite the two pick 6s. That said, Klatt rating him #5 and Penix #4 is telling.

I don’t care about it Caleb Williams crying with his mom but in the Utah game when his team needed to get the stop he just sat quietly on the bench he wasn’t out being a vocal leader for his team. You’d think after back to back losses that took away your path to the playoffs you’d be a little more fired up to beat them
Caleb Williams is a great talent. I am not sure he’ll be what all these people think he is going to be.
Vikings will take Penix at 11. My Seahawks don’t have the draft capital to move up…if anything they move back to pick up a much needed 2nd or another 3rd. Then they can move around in the middle rounds.
When people are banging the table that Miller Moss is a generational prospect in 2 years and Caleb Williams is just a degree over average maybe people will realize the window dressing of a Lincoln Riley QB. Kyler, Baker, etc... all "generational"

You talk about Georgia and Tight Ends like they aren’t good at that position when in fact they e had a Tight End drafted in like the past 5or 6 drafts in a row and it’ll continue this draft and the next ones as well because the recruit and they develop better than any other program today and that position is always strong at Georgia!!!!
