Whenever he goes under them, it just reminds me of when we used to go to the grocery store and my mom just talks to people I dont know. I would hide behind her legs and just peek through.

@@sayedmasihullah2375 you doesn't understand an elephant society , it's a matriachal society and male elephants would live individually as they were kicked out when they become big and only ladies remain in groups , elephants remember their mother even their ancestors and also express their pain towards dead remain of their ancestors so there isn't any need of being insensitive and gain correct knowledge.
One thing I love about elephants is that unlike most other animals, they stay with their families throughout their entire lives. They have great memory. So cute!!
I know. Last year I starting following a mama bear and her two cubs on KZhead. They were always so happy and playful. Now I’m heartbroken that the family unit split up so mama can look for a new baby daddy.

I just love elephants. I once went to an animal expo and had a chance to ride an elephant but I didn't out of respect for it. It was chained up and had what looked like tears running down its face and I told the owners I refused to ride it but wanted to stroke its face instead. I spoke to it quietly telling it not to worry and its time in captivity will be over one day. I also went to the Ringling Brothers Circus (twice) even though I was against it but did it for my daughter. The entire time I had a knot in my throat and tears in my eyes because I watched those poor elephants perform knowing that they didn't want to do it and knowing how they're really treated once these shows was over. Caged up and only let out to do shows......beaten into performing. Several months later Ringling Brothers was forced to dismantle the elephant part of their show and to set them free to animal sanctuaries. It was like God heard my prayers for them. I was so happy. These are magnificent, intelligent, emotional creatures and they deserve respect.
Yes we have to stop using Animals like Things,all Animals have a Personality and Soul and Emotions
The animal expo was seperate from the Ringling Bros. I wonder if the elephant/s from the expo was/were freed also.

They are Indian Elephants (Elephas Maximus Indicus) so they have a lot more hair than there African Cousins

It is absolute a delight to see how elephant camps transform into sanctuaries thanks to Senduang "Lek" from Elephant Nature Park. Her education to the owners and mahouts is lifechanging for the elephants in Thailand. To attrack tourists who can observe them in a natural habitat where they can roam free and tourists SERVE them instead of riding the elephants to help caring for them and preparing food. Isn't that wonderfull, no more abuse but happy and peacefull living next and with eachother. 😊👌👍 ❣🌍🌎🌏🤲
I had no idea that Lek was doing that type of educational work along with running her own sanctuary. She is really an exceptional person.
@@jennadaigle7508 You would be surprised what she does, she inspired the owner of this formal tracking camp after he visit ENP and stayed a few days. He witnessed how happy the elephants were there. On the channel of ENP you can watch those video's where she visit camps or they visit ENP. It is so fantasic to see how elephant owners are willing to change and give their elephants back to the jungle. All thanks to Lek and Darrick and the rest of their team at ENP. 👌👍
Yes!!!! TOURISTS - PLEASE DO NOT RIDE ELEPHANTS ! I was shocked to see so many tourists still riding elephants in Thailand earlier this year (albeit there were fewer than in years past). Need to expand education about this!

Such a beautiful sight to see these beloved creatures have a happy life being free from "slavery". Wild animals need to be able to be free and I wish the world would quit taking all the habitat from ALL wild animals! I do wish one day the pet trade would end and be laws world wide to save them! Yep... I'm dreaming but I do pray for them all.

*I remember seeing these cuties mom and baby that recently a few weeks ago in India in Kerala city,* *an elephant came in search of food and hunger out of the forest as she was pregnant so local people feeded her 🍍 pineapple filled with bomb* , *I mean how much cruel the mankind can be one can never imagine , it's the mistake of that innocent soul to believe in human* , *her whole mouth blasted and her stomach was badly affected it produced so much burning affect that the elephant went on small pond to relief herself from so much pain and she remain there in corner for three days without eating, how could she eat, her whole mouth i.e jaws was blasted and without harming human around instead of being in so much pain that she was herself not able to believe that this was done by evil inhumane felons and like that she breathe her last breath and died,* *this what we talk about so called humanakind* Sorry but human are no more human and this humankind deserves more than this Corona epidemic for what this HUMANKIND has been doing with no guilt at all*

I am from Kerala and that is not what happened. The wild boars destroy the cultivation in that area. So the farmers set up traps - crackers inside pineapple. Unfortunately this pregnant elephant ate it and got hurt severely. The authorities tried to save her but she died. What happened was very unfortunate. But the farmers cannot be blamed. They have to make a living and are not as privileged as people living in cities. But yes, killing any wild animal is an offence in Kerala, especially elephants as they are the state animal of Kerala.
