Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire hits theaters March 29th, and ahead of its premiere Warner Bros. has dropped a second trailer which gives lots more Skar King as well as our first tiny glimpse at the newest Titan from Hollow Earth, Shimo. Can Godzilla and Kong put aside their differences for long enough to defeat these threats? Jessica Clemons goes frame-by-frame through this trailer to point out hidden Easter Eggs and missable details, including some clues that a certain Titan may be returning.

@@bigmike6542 he’s talking about the “wall” (egg sack) they touch not the ice Zilla is frozen in and the cave Zilla is in is pink because of the type of radiation those crystals admit, he’s hibernating and absorbing that specific radiation.

Yeah sadly. It's corny as hell. Seems like the freshman class made a student film. There's only a few cool parts and even most of those are shown in the trailers.

Scar king's whip was on Kongs left hand. Shimu started freezing Kong's right hand while holding the axe. That's why he got the glove on his right hand. 🤝🏽

My guess is that during Kong and scar kings first brawl that scar king punches a tooth out of Kong, and later in the movie Kong punches one of scar kings tooth out.
Wrong kong has a tooth infection and monarch replace it for him then when kong meets scar King scar laughs at kongs tooth and later in the film kong punches scar and knocks his tooth out and then laughs at him

Those ruins remind me of the ruins from King of the monsters where Ishirō Serizawa set off the nuke to revive godzilla.

If you pay attention to the scene with the nuclear pulse you can still see Mothra's wing pattern in the blast of energy.
Maybe kongs glove is because shimo or shimu give him permenent damage on his arm from frostbite holding the axe..

Great video, in the trailer I find it very interesting that while the other apes bow to Skar king, Suko stands there frightened. It's gonna be quite fun to see their relation if both Skar and Suko are related. This movie is gonna be fun!

This actually looks fun. Btw I just watched an interview with Josh Brolin, where he breaks down his career and it reminded me what a good actor he is. Anything he’s in pretty much. But his performance as Thanos, especially in InifinityWar and especially the opening scene has to be my favourite of his. He always gives me goosebumps. The most impressive thing is that it’s mainly his voice that does it. Possible more stunning than Rhodey saying “Booooom looking for this?” Bye y’all! Happy international women’s day!

Kong didnt loose his fur from punching shimu or scar king. If you look closely you'll notice that when he was deflecting shimus ice blast, the ice started to cover his hands which I assume is what damages it in the first place and the reason why he gets a beast glove at all

When the jets shoot at godzilla you can see a nuclear cooling tower on the right of the screen so godzilla could be going to ‘eat’ the nuclear energy so that he can evolve into his pink form

5:41 I'm pretty sure that this is showing Shimo ice blasting Mothra... not sure if they were trying to hide it or not, but... 1. There's clearly a Titan on the ground 2. It's most likely white, which blends into the white ground & the attack appears to be [snow] white (not blue like Godzilla) 3. There is a shadow there on the ground 4. It obviously has to be a Titan capable of flight 5. There is the slightest hint of giant curved wings in the clouds

Remember Godzilla can be forced to charge up when the axe is being used in that temple, so Godzilla is releasing the energy that glows around his body Also with Godzilla going into the ocean while surging, hes likely headed to any active power plants to absorb radiation, because after discharging the forced charge up energy, he will be weak

My guess is that scar king had knocked outs kongs tooth, instead of scar knocking out kongs tooth. Scar and kong would have a fight and then scar punched out his tooth. That’s why kong has a silver tooth in!!
By the looks of it. Mothra was cut from that epic running scene with Godzilla and Kong. It seem like there’s too much space on that far left - if mothra is on that it would be even crazier. thoughts?

RE: the scene where Godzilla is super saiyan blue at night, it might be an early scene showing how humanity is divided (these movies love meta commentary) on what to do with the titans, and so some countries still aggressively defend themselves when Godzilla shows up. Could be a part of the V/O from Rebecca Hall.

I think Kong’s hand injury comes from the frostbite attack when he was holding the beam back with the Axe, and not the whip. Also in the wide shot of Rio with the ice beam hitting the ocean, you can see Scarking on the beach on the lower left of the the screen.

Could it be that the blue energy godzilla could be dagon or a descendant? You see lightning around him and in japanese they refer to dagon as raijin. Which is lord of lightning
It wasn't Monarch that said Kong was the last of his kind, that information came from the Iwi tribe on Skull Island. Your point still stands though, there is no way they could have known, but I thought I would just point that out.
