This rusty and damaged vintage model car was a big challenge for Restore Machines. The toy was stored in the basement for months and I did not dare to repair it...but ...I finally found the courage... In addition to the fact that it was very damaged, rusty and destroyed, many parts were missing. But it worked and it's done! Enjoy this epic restoration of Restore Machines.

  • I’ve watched many restoration videos from your fellow youtubers, and this is one of the most incredible transformations I’ve seen yet. Others wouldn’t touch something this damaged and you knocked it out of the park and gave it a second chance at life. Beautiful work!

    • You do realise these are all artificially damaged to showcase techniques right? Sure the restorations are OK, not perfect, but it’s not like these were found in an attic and restored to being joy back to someone - it’s just for content sake, and that’s fine, but there are better restorers out there in terms of final finish.

    • Actually yes you can, hydrogen peroxide will make steel rust, citric acid, urine, and let it set outside for a few weeks or months and presto! Artificially damaged.
