In this video I found on my Jeep Willys, which I renovated in the previous video, a large 60cm Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 1967 Eleanor model. This model was very damaged so I tried to fix it to look like the shelby gt500 from the movie 60 seconds, I hope you liked the video
Restoration Jeep Willys: • Video
I'm here in the Uk grinning from ear to ear. I'm 70 this year and this made me feel like a happy child. Subscribed....Bravo sir.
Most people just throw out a 2000.00 dollar model kit. Amazing how all the parts are there.
Seems to be a thing these days to have a toy, rough it up, cover it in soil, then duping people into thinking you found it that way...gotta get those views!
Oi
@@ianbrown9082 People certainly abuse it for clickbait, but the fact is if your thumbnail doesn't look like it is unrestorable, you aren't getting a click. It's to the point that I have to pay more for a rusted out broken toy missing pieces than a good condition original costs, and I wish I was exaggerating on that.
@@ianbrown9082 exact , du plastique ou du zamak qui rouille . duperie . a bannir .
Does it really cost that much and where would someone go to purchase one?
Impressive restoration. What I'm really impressed about though is how nice of a weathering job was done beforehand.
🤣
probably takes longer to make it rust than it does to "restore" it.
@@jameskyle2238 Not at all. Out in the elements it will rust fairly quick in weeks
@@Madmaxxxx1984 Yes indeed we all know that plastic and diecast rusts like mad.
🤣totaly fake
Cool that you put all the mud on the car and painted faux rust on the body before putting in the junk pile, well done! Also pulling off all the little plastic parts before hand very good. Made the video way better.
🤣 this is a restoration project for the weak of mind
😂😂
Exactly!!! 100% agree , very impressive skills on making it look old and dirty and then brand new! 👌🏻👌🏻
He should film how he trashed it.
@@gamera1962 🤣🤣 at least that would be real
An impressive amount of work went into making that look like it was outside for years before you "restored" it, excellent work.
just like the asian vids lol spray the mud off
@@hessxpress3016and chloridric acid
It would be cool to see a behind the scenes video. You know, how much work it goes into making these things look like they need a restoration.
The shade lmaoo
And all the loose parts lying together at the garbage dump😂
Would have been nice in a different colour
One of the big things they do for this, not saying they did it this way. But it takes a lot of work to make it look bad. So one thing that can be done is getting two cars when purchasing. They can then show it messed up before, but when a nice looking seat goes in, odds are its from a clean model.
how long did it take you to make it look like old garbage? only to then clean it up repaint it and add the rest of the model parts that you just happened to have for the exact model..funny how nothing was busted on it except for a small crack that is hidden...good job on the repaint though..
Yeah, and how funny, driving around in "nowhere" and finding an abandoned model. Strange country where he lives, where modelers throw their cars away like that. I get more and more the impression, that some of the restoration victims are "mudded" and placed by intention. No matter how nice the result at the end is.
@@erebus1964 fake restoration, you have to be very naive to believe in this perfect world of restorations
Every part there, and several tucked inside the "abandoned" car from the beginning. I call bullshit.
Damn it's just entertainment calm down
@@chives6329 A lie is a lie.
Amazing how it’s been there that long that even the plastic went rusty!
the work that went into making it look wrecked is amazing.
Yeah... I said that this video is played in reverse🤣
probably was abandoned due to a lawsuit
Look at how clean the hinge is 0:58
Abandoned the same way that Eaglemoss abandoned us with the Jeep Willys and Ecto-1 builds!! El bastardos!!
????
More work goes into making it look abandoned than anything else....
That’s what I say
i Know, why can't he just admit. it's "custom" not restoration.
Yes very cool 😎
I like how he accidentally stumbles upon the vehicle. What a good setup in making a story to try and get YT views. Lol. Do they even beat up and make crap of a new vehicle and then "rebuild them"?
Agree 💯 Thought the same thing 🤣🤣😂😭
@@jerrylowden1977 and its amazing how all the parts were there of this collecters grade model
I thought the same thing. I gotta ride around in empty fields now to find a $2500.00 diecast kit. There everywhere.
All of this channel's content is staged and fake. So sorry I came across this again.
almost like it was planned
he just perfectly knew where it was and happens that most parts are in the same place😂🤣
I think its just content
Amazing find! All the main screws were still in there and pretty easy to take out!
I have to throw the BS flag on this one......I find it HIGHLY unlikely that a 2000 dollar model kit would just find its way to a "junk pile" at the edge of a field AND almost all the parts were still accounted for.....putting it back together was entertaining to watch but, theres no way this is 100% legit....just sayin
And thanks to KZhead removing the ability for us to see how many dislikes a video gets, a lot of people will be sucked into believing this is a real restoration.
And parts look like smoke/fire damage but all plastic not melted and the bits or wiring looks brand new no Staines as if been outside for ages and the version from agora models the chassis is all black not red/orange and for bumper and doors to be of they have to have major damage as screwed in
All these found channels are BS. There's another one where a guy searches the junk piles and always seems to find 1:18 scale cars "abandoned "
100%
Agree
Amazing restoration! Looks to me as if it was deliberately distressed. What are the odds all or most of the parts where there?
@@Crazy_Restoration What did I win?
Man I wish I came across a muddy almost perfect condition model Shelby, Good thing he had a few spare instruction manuals for it. And all the glass separate bag. Conveniently laying around is workshop.
Right !!!!!!! This is soooo staged and faked .... I get sick about it.
Конечно это постановка) выдали крепежи капота, они каким-то образом оказались чистыми и новыми на ржавой модели)))
yup, staged and fake
big model shelby GT500 eleanor amazing!!!!👍👍👍👍👏👏
Thank you for doing a perfect restoration of such a beautiful, wonderful, powerful iconic classic muscle car!! More please
oh yeah as if he totally didn’t ruin it in the first place😂
Идеальную?! После такой всратой "реставрации" эта модель не имеет абсолютно никакой ценности.
Amazing! That little drone followed above, knowing that the man would make a valuable find, and luckily he had a camera and tripod with him to record his serendipitous discovery for you tube. Luckily it was left in full veiw on top of all the other trash. The restoration is excellent however. God bless him!
You should spray exhaust system in chrome and same for your wheels in chrome. Love the car Eleanor ❣️
What you did is a miracle, great restoration. keep it up.
What would you improve on this video? What kind of next video would you like? Ferrari or Porsche in 1/8 scale?
staged and fake
Maybe improve on not faking restoration videos...?
We would like a real restoration video, or just a customization one
Hola amiga ese carro solo es que yo no tengo carro😢
❤
still amazed that you can keep discovering diecast models that can rust...
making it look wrecked it's an art on its own, good job.
What really gets me is this model car was left outside to rot…. But you did an amazing job restoring it… You even added lights! Great job, interesting video
It was not. This is DeAgostini model that came out 2 years ago. Even if building fell on it, it would not look like that. This was done on purpose, so he could do "restoration" video. And lights are part of this model.
All the parts he added after all came with the kit, you just pick what you want for your build. He just made it look like crap and dumped it on top of some garbage without most of the things that came with the kit that the car came with and then added when "restoring" maybe if they would just put the damn car together people wouldn't be aggravated with the fake restoration and just watch him put models together or customize them without the trickery. THat makes me and most everyone who watched it not want to watch anything he makes ever again. If he has a legit model build and customisation without the whole pretending to find and restore then more people will watch it. People do not care for restoring with fake things. Just put a car together or if you find a real life old car model or real car and it really is rusty and needs restoring then hurray and crap but die cast doesn't rust plastic doesn't rust so people need to be smarter when doing videos and stop trying to make everyone watching feel like you make them look stupid when they will pick apart your video in a second and not like the video at all then talk shit about it and it's deserving with this crap. The car was fine the beginning was crap.
Nice! A Shelby that Dennis Collins didn’t find yet! Nice job!
Forget about the cynic's, It's only important when its put on your workshop bench, and you use your magic wand, excellent video.
I LOVED this video! Especially once I found the 'mute' button. That Casio Demo keyboard music leaves a lot to be desired. Otherwise, great restore! 🙂
Damn he even found the Assembly Catalogs in that field.
This is an amazing restoration, no I'm not saying it right, it's an astonishig restoration!! How you treat all parts separately, with great attention to detail, it's without doubt a magnificent restoration.
Your ability to fake the damages outshines your restoration skills.
it's like painting a real car, it's very detailed... greeting from Indonesia 🇮🇩🤩
I understand how hard it is to get a video off the ground if it doesn't look like the last time it was touched a dinosaur stepped on it, so love it or hate it a lot of work went into it and I appreciate that. Good job on this video and this project.
I love how easily all the screws come out after being in trash for so long.
Yes it was pure magic how he removed all screws in seconds 😂
Just call this resto journey "Too Loose Le Trek!"
Baita troféu para sua estante. Ficou 💯% lindo. Excelente restauração, Belo trabalho.👍😉👏. Você é muito profissional. Parabéns
I believe this car is not abandoned. It looks like someone did some art to make it look abandoned so they could restore it. But the video is very cool and I subscribed to the channel. Congratulations!!
This is actuially what they do !
Well done on the restoration. It's nice to see it in the siver rather than the blue in which it originally came. I have the exact same model that I built. It's heavier than it looks at 10kg
Hi, can you tell me which brand this model is? I'd like one myself:)
I would also like to know... back sometime shortly after the movie came out, I was part owner of a muscle car diecast store.. I made a 1:18 diecast one for myself (I also had my own side business where I would modify diecast to match people's real cars (or just what they wanted)). I started with an ERTL 67 Shelby GT 350 (mainly because we had quite a few at the time) as well as an ERTL 427 Cobra "body shop" diecast kit. Took apart the Shelby, stripped it with aircraft stripper & got started with the body mods - using JB Weld "stick" (more putty - like as opposed to liquid) to form the front end, wheel flairs, side skirts & hood scoop. Once I felt this was correct general size/shape, I got out my trusty Dremel & began grinding & sanding. Engine (427) was pirated from the Cobra kit as were the wheels - which were then modified. Interestingly enough, the wheels were honestly the only thing I kept track of my time on.. each wheel from start to finish took about 4 hours. I pretty much only kept the middle (or spider) of the original rims, the actual "rim" parts were aluminum tubing (for wheels??) that came from a large hobby shop. I also found some aluminum tubing that I used for the unique side exit exhaust (correct shape/size), I had a fellow hobbiest make me correct scale license plates & even the "go baby go" shifter label. In the end... I'm guessing I had in excess of over 100 hours into this car... oh, lots of primer & sanding, 5 coats of "Fleet - Pepper Grey", all black striping painted on (including the side stripes) & then at least 5 coats of clear before cut & buff. I made the aluminum tube grille by hand & the driving lights were "jeweled" lights from the model railroad section of the same hobby shop. I eventually got harassed? No, more like pestered to sell it. He eventually paid me $800 for the car & flew from California to Chicago to pick it up from me. I still have everything to do another (several, actually) except the time... although seeing this larger scale one, makes me want to do it again!
@@Lander76 It's a DeAgostini model
@davidstraub7218 That's an impressive amount of work my friend. I wish I had seen that.
@@martinscott-reed5379 DeAgostini - is that the one you get a subscription for & they send you a package every month - also the Ecto 1 & BTTF DeLorean? As for mine, I wish there was a way to post pics on here.
I love the look of that old Shelby, I’ve seen a few old mustangs and I am mesmerized every time👍👍
For some reason I couldn’t stop watching this….subscribed
Ficou show de bola
Lindo muito lindo, parabéns 😍😍👏👏👏👏👏
I am so amazed that the Elenor is fully restored to its former glory. It reminds me of the movie Gone in 60 Seconds. Well done 👍🏾!
The delicate grill still intact! What luck..that Mustang must have spent some time immersed in strong tea and a year under a layer of mud. Wonderful ageing effect.
awesome resto, thanks for saving it and bringing it back to life
More like trashing it and making a fake restoration video
Found this channel by accident. No regrets. Absolutely wonderful restoration. Keep up the great work.
Um verdadeiro artista um trabalho excelente parabéns
Good restoration. Dont care what everyone else said. Satisfying to watch.
Lindo , amei 🇧🇷🇯🇵👍
This is the best restoration channel on yt. I have to say that you can turn trash into awesome stuffs. You're gifted.
How much did you get paid to say that?
BEAUTIFUL JOB, the lights were the perfect touch.
It's an entertaining video, Internet always brings out the trolls .. Nice job on car
Fantastic work, to make something like this out of garbage, that means skill, patience and passion. You have all my respect.
This is an amazing restoration the attention to detail is impeccable. Right down to the smallest detail. I throughly enjoyed the video. Love your channel and content. ❤🇨🇦
oh yeah like it wasnt already detailed 😂
The aging one or the brand new look one? Both where pretty good!!
Fake Fake Fake Fake ass Fake Video. For actual videos of Hot Wheels with real use damage and aging go to @BaremetalHW and @WheelsNThangs and @Diecast Restoration
Its 100% fake.
If you want Real detailed restorations check rthe chanel "my mechanics" that guy is one of a kind
Great story! It's good that there are people who are ready to give models a second life!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣He destroyed the model to make it look all used just to clean it up and repair it to make the video These are fake videos that staged.
I think it's very cool to find a mustang like that and restore it completely back to the way it should look that looks really cool that's a lot of time and effort and that's really really cool.
Beautiful job, very well done!
Thank you but I don't use Telegram. Still a great job on the Mustang!
De Agostini? Seriously? The model has just been released, and is it already in a landfill? It's cool to immediately starve the model, and then restore😂
Ficou muito lindo! Parabéns!👏👏
Pretty detailed model to begin with. Nice find ! ! !

Nice restoration. Would love to know where you were able to find the extra pieces for it.
Probably from the mint condition car he started with 🤷🏻♂️
😂😂😂 bro are you that gullible
@@Elephantnuts It's not gullibility that leads to my question, it's called interest. I'm not of the mind that all who post videos are liars. Neither am I of the opinion that all who post comments are idiots, or don't deserve a bit of common respect.
OK is this really a model which was dumped or was really brought and then made awefull for start then rebuilt as where did missing parts come interested to know full story
@@nickfensome8855 It doesn't seem like it's staged, but these days you never know. That's why I asked about the extra pieces. I've got a signed & certified Richard Petty's 1970 Superbird in 1:24 scale from The Franklin Mint and it's got a broken rt ft wheel hub that I'd love to replace, but i'll be damned if I can find any replacement parts.
Ficou maravilhoso , parabéns
Back in the game & looking ‘Smokin’ amazing resto!, I well enjoyed watching that…..👍🏴
Ука, лютейшее нагибалово! Но лавина просмотров и чувак живет не парится 😡
I’d like to know who destroyed this so thoroughly in the first place. It looks to be something that should have been taken care of in the first place.
they destroy it and then restore it hahahaha
Probably so.
Omy God,so nice Somany parts of this little car, exactly like a big one. Nicer than the factory
I love how at the 1:20 mark you quickly flip the door which clearly shows where you BRUSHED THE MUD on with a PAINT BRUSH 😂😂
Rust on the plasic bumper :/
Someone said majority of these restoration videos are fake and pointed out what you just pointed out.

Amazing that so many part were missing then appeared out of thin air.Almost like it was all staged and laid out in the field right before you picked it up .Great timing
