This is a great wood project book kzhead.infoUgkxkPIWb22DigCqxmlXerCyUF4HCl6eSU2L . Most of the projects use the pallet simply as a source of reclaimed wood not as a recognizable pallet so even if you didn't have a pallet you could make these projects with any reclaimed (or even new) wood. The instructions are excellent. The style is charming and would work with lots of different decor. There are quite a number of projects that involve tiling of teh wood pieces which is a really cool idea and can produce beautiful pieces when working with aged wood.
Uma linda obra de arte.... parabéns para todos. MAGNÍFICO TRABALHO.
Amazing & Beautiful. I keep thinking the shavings (especially cedar) would be great as a sachets. The man has a vision that others do not, can not fathom. Truly an Artist on a different level. I would buy his art work.
How on earth does this man still have both his hands, let alone all his fingers? 😲😲😲 incredible workmanship!!!!
The book provides clear illustrations kzhead.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO diagrams that cover many of the essential topics. The projects at the end of the book are valuable for enhancing your skills and creating your own furniture. A digital platform linked to the book that could offer the plans for other woodworking projects with the cut sheets would have been a nice addition, but overall, the book is excellent.
Waist of wood 😔 But your work Excellent 👍🏻
Uma linda obra de arte.... parabéns para todos
The best legacy a beautiful tree could leave after a very skilled craftsman has had his way with it. Beautifully done!
You have a talent for putting your finger on the heart of the matter.
All that hard work just to ruin it at the end. I couldnt believe my eyes. That was the most beautiful natural wood I've ever seen.
Padauk is a beautiful vibrant orange when freshly cut but it does darken with exposure to uv light to dark brown almost exactly like the finish they applied at the end. Still, I agree watching that made me sad. You can use a uv protective clear coat to extend the length that the wood will remain orange, but even then it will eventually turn dark. But you can always just sand it and you can re expose the bright wood underneath.
@@dynogunbattle I would definitely sand it down and reapply the protective coat over and over again, that's just too gorgeous to do anything else with in my opinion
@@dynogunbattle any idea how quickly the UV light fades it? If it's like less than a year, like say 3 to 6 months then I'd get pretty sick of doing it lol
@@wisconsincrhunter5614 yes, it would be noticable within a year or so. They washed off some of the finish at the end, it still shows the grain well
Exactly the wood is so beautiful why didnt he use a clear polyurethane
PARABÉNS , LINDO TRABALHO.
Really enjoyed watching. Unbelievable what you do with that piece of wood. Your work is beautiful.
I was certainly awestruck as I watched this maestro as he patiently turned an interesting looking trunk into one magnificent, eye pleasing treasure. Skill and knowledge acquired over the years of experience has truly paid off magically for this craftsman. May these folks, and especially this talented artist, enjoy many more years of admiration from the world's population. Congratulations on the performing of artistic excellence!!

@notfiveo That's not Cedar my guy. Atleast no cedar that grows in the USA. Might be a regional species though, but no cedar I have ever seen or worked with.
Is it chestnut?
Looks like cherry.
Absolutely stunning, skills, imagination and the magnificent end result. Its an amazing watch & very nice to watch all the way through. I'd guess he's made dozens of these & other similar large scale works purely from the confident way he works & handles the tools too. Almost mesmerising when watching it & I'd love to see where these Vases ended up. In the right setting I bet they look beautiful. Can anyone PLEASE tell me what / why he drilled the centre hole unless he went right the way through, then that would surely create a weak point from rot becoming established inside the vase. So so very skilled.
Looks to be a small fire pit. Maybe ritualistic.
Could be many things; drain to keep water from collecting, hole for electrical or gas line or a hole for an anchor pin are three to come to mind...

You have a natural talent for leadership and bringing out the best in others.
wow that took YEARS of craftsmanship! I can't believe these pieces looks absolutely identical even though they were done separately out of raw logs "by hand". What gets me are the fabricated tool ends. Lotta years here... thank you!

Very, very well done!!! Knowledge, skill, power and an artificial imagination to do such a heavy job - unbelievable, even the seklfmade tools and handling without any safeness !!! It was nice and amazing to see what this craftsman/artist produces out of a part of a rough trunk on a huge lathe. Never saw that again.
Amazing work. I don’t think some people realize just how difficult it would be to make those, the sign of a true craftsman, he makes it look easy. Brilliant work sir!! ❤❤🙂

Wonderful to watch the craftmanship from someone who is not English speaking and does not have every tool under the sun. Awesome Art and a lot of courage to have several ton of wood spinning at speed at arms lenght.
That wood is gorgeous. So much more interesting than yet another resin and burl project.
what is the name of that wood
That is absolutely stunning work. True craftsmanship. If the artist is in the comments-please keep sharing! What kind of wood is this? The grain is stunning, particularly in the heartwood.

Great work with even the crudest of equipment! The "movable" unbolted down tool rest scares me, especially if you would hit a loose knot in the wood and it grabs the tool.
If it were in India, they would have been bare foot.

I think it’s awesome that he’s making his own tools out of tool steel just like you would for a small metal lathe but on an absolute huge scale. Usually lathes have a “tool holder” that holds the cutting tool in place but in this operation this craftsman is the tool holder.

You mean a tool rest? he has one, the thing he's putting his foot and tool on. Its exactly the same as using a small lathe but big, and janky.
@@ferrousmcgarrus3431. No I mean the tool holder that holds the cutting tool, it usually looks similar to a vice that you use to fix the cutting tool in place. You can make your own cutting tool out of tool steel or buy tools with replaceable cutting edges. I’m sure you know all that
What a fabulous job he made of those, absolute artist and knew exactly what he was doing from the first turn. Thanks so much for this, what a beautiful output of work these guys do and something so unusual.
Amazing woodworking!
I appreciate the depth of thought that you bring to every conversation.

enjoyed the entire process. From start to finish, regardless of what it ends up, it's the process that is interesting to me.
Now THAT is a TRUE ARTIST!!! Fantastic Work Gentlemen!!!!
Lindo trabalho destruindo à NATUREZA,ainda é parabenizado
Those are completely badass they would make a great set of lights or with the right wood preservatives a set of fountains
I thought the same thing!!!! I was imagining both actually- water falling from the flower-like top with a submerged light. Just think how that would look as the entrance to an art garden! I bet that wood grain would just glow through those petals and the way the light would dance and play on the ceiling of a gallery! Exquisite!
