Awesome review as always bro! Ahhh the days where I could have shot for a Bronco but I had to settle for a Jeep Rubicon Gladiator instead since at the time they took forever for us to get them. The Raptor Bronco is "the one that got away" since I've just realized if I were to spend that much money I'd still get a 392 Jeep instead. Still, a GREAT machine. I fell in love with it when I first saw the Bronco R for the Baja 1000.

I would be interested in the Raptor if dealers weren’t ripping us off. Before the Raptor, I was looking at a Badlands Sasquatch, looks fantastic, but they wanted over $15k over sticker. This was for a car that still had problems like top noise, and water leaks. Steering also had issues, in addition to engine issues. Bought a TRD Pro at sticker price. Very happy
There you go! What a steal! Unfortunately dealers are really to blame for a lot of these issues. I don’t know who’s paying for these cars above sticker?! But they’re making it bad for all of us.
Wait until the Bronco Raptor R comes out with the 5.2 Supercharged, they will want $200,000 with mark up

Ridiculous how mark ups are! Honestly it's the consumer's fault; people continue to pay for them. As person above said, these will not hold their value, wait 2 or 3 years and you can get one at half price and still fairly new. IMO.
I'm not sure what the point of this comment is, but anybody buying a $100,000 Bronco Raptor isn't worried about top noise and water leaks lmao. Also, no offense, your TRD Pro is a great rig and I don't think anybody would question that. But on a performance scale? It's not even in the same ballpark as the Raptor. Less power, less ground clearance, a worse 4WD Crawl Ratio, you are simply comparing Apples and Oranges. I think you might be more interested in the Raptor if you could afford it.

@alphashark Nice review! I like how you touched on some of the flaws. Specially the cheap high production plastic! No excuse to use cheap materials at this price range. Ford has a problem with rattles etc. IMO this is more of a 60k+ vehicle. Id rather buy a Rubicon fully loaded for waaay less. Be well my friend, keep up the xool videos 🎉🙏

I didn’t realize it has a smaller motor than the Raptor. I thought it was the same 3.5L. Looks like a fun truck to drive.
It is smaller, but still very fun to drive and it’s 500 horsepower feels more than enough
my 2015 mustang gt with the 5.0l v8 averages 17.5mpg and i dont really drive conservatively at all. so 15mpg is pretty bad considering its a 3.0l turbo

Where to start. It's built in Mexico, 35" are $200 37 $1000, tire size versus weight equals traction, 15mpg is terrible, 5'9" is short, 3.0 is a Mexican made engine unlike the 3.5l, you'll learn to hate paddle shifters I know I do just as much as I hate cc that down shifts the transmission, needs a charger for the phone, it needs to remember the settings depending on the outside temp, the steering wheel needs heat and illuminated buttons, needs a great sound system, how is anyone going to run wires to the aux switches?, love the zone lighting.

It’s a sweet ride. If it came with a V8 I might actually consider it. ( the eco boost powerplants are garbage) I would imagine it’s built like trash being a ford, but I’ll give them it’s the best looking suv out there period.

That’s the most solid argument for the V8 I’ve heard yet. Everyone says “should’ve had a V8” but when I ask why they don’t like the V6 because it makes so much HP & Torque, no one ever has a response! But if in your experience the EcoBoost engines are unreliable that tracks why you would want a V8

Saw one at our local Ford showroom.... $96,871, and a $10,000 market adjustment!!! Not paying that much for an underpowered SUV, with the fit and finish of an Explorer...
I wouldn’t necessarily say 400 hp is underpowered…
400 hp from a twin turbo isn't the same as 400 hp from a 302, 351, or even a 5.0. I've owned cars and trucks with all the above engines, and my current car has the same twin turbo as the Bronco Raptor. Not the same.

But why does it need to be a V8? I feel like the V6 makes so much power it just becomes a bragging thing to have a V8
@@AlphaShark The V6 is indeed powerful. However, if you think about it, as a daily driver, majority of the time you will be driving at normal or slow speeds because of traffic while commuting back and forth from work, or if you are going with the family. And at these times, a V8 sound beats anything. And if you get extra power from the V8, well that's just a win win... What I'm trying to say is, it is not always about the power. Sometimes I like to stand next to my car after visiting the supermarket for example, loading my groceries and then turn on remote ignition and enjoying that idle V8 sound... Hope that painted a picture for you :)

Please work on your camera lighting because we cant see a thing in dark areas of dashboard or roof
It may just be your phone or laptop screen, it’s fairly bright in the video from my end. I made sure that anything that needed to be highlighted was, I mean it’s inherently black on the roof so it’s naturally darker.

@91pF and in what world has a ford been better off road than a Toyota. We can give it any kind of stat that you want it will still out perform it. This is the absolute best version of a Bronco you can get while the base over trail will out perform it.

Each manufacturer excels and doesn’t excel in particular points but I can guarantee the Lexus GX550 was not designed to be better at off-roading than a Braptor. I told you many ways a Raptor is better than the GX550 all you said was “lol Toyota better”. The only thing the GX550 will have the Raptor beat is on road comfortability.
@91pF Most of what you said was conjecture. The overtrial has better protection underneath the vehicle, and you can put up to a 70 on it without lifting it. You are clearly not in the off reading world if you think a Bronco can compete with a toyota in any shape form or fashion. There are KZhead channels that have taken both vehicles on the same obstacle, and the Gx has out performed the Bronco. Not the same time it was done when the vehicles were created.
The only thing this is missing is a gun holster, or a rifle rack

Mine jeep gets 15.4 city n 20 hwy. That’s really good with V6 400+ HP/TQ. I over paid for my jeep n I’m stuck with it. Jeep is over priced.

I’ve had mine forcefully back to dealer that friends happen to own and unfortunately we’re not exactly best of friends anymore. More than it’s fair share of issues first being steering, second and most importantly motor noise which ended up being valves and then of course That unreliable transfer case. Your welcome

I would only own this vehicle if it was a diesel. Otherwise, it's a nice toy for weekend offroading only. 15/16 MPG is HORRIBLE! One would probably have to live at the gas station to own one of these.

This dilutes the Raptor brand almost as much as the ridiculous eMustang offended the Mustang icon. Bolting on fender flares and adding expensive “shocks” and tires doesn’t scream confidence. At least mold in the wide fenders into the body …jeeeze. And the exhaust sound is silly and weak. Put a v8 in that bitch. But hey, at least the key fob says Raptor on it 🤣
This is no where near as bad as the MachE. Haha the regular Raptor truck has only had a V6 option since 2017 Silly! Lol it's only recently they brought back the V8!
