  • I am still scratching my head at how Ford thinks the bronco raptor is worth 40k more than this?!?

    @Thrice-er6ry@Thrice-er6ry16 күн бұрын
    • Leaked documents show it cost $12k to build an F150. So it costs more or less the same to produce the Bronco, and other vehicles. Anything beyond a 2x profit margin is Ford and other manufacturers getting away with price gouging the ‘new normal’ set a decade ago that keeps increasing.

    • @@NarasimhaDiyasena it may cost $12k in just materials and manufacturing, but that surely does not include the billions of dollars of R&D, marketing, and up front capital costs (building a factory)

    • There is a lot more that goes into the Bronco Raptor, ultimately it's a way more capable and durable vehicle - but for a very similar experience 99% of the time, I think that makes the Ranger Raptor pretty good value.

    • Honestly dont see the point of a trd pro or trailhunter. People personalize their trucks with aftermarket anyways so its probably more cost effective to get a lower trim without all that extra packaging and build it the way you like it. A trd sport or offroad is a better choice at a lower pricepoint and you can get the hybrid power in those too

I know its a regulation to be on the F150 Raptor because it's so wide but I think having them on the Ranger raptor as well would heighten its appearance. There's even 3 small spots in the top of the grill that look like its made for ambers so maybe it would be a fun aftermarket mod! Such a good looking truck! Congrats on the new addition! • Skip MFG reccomendations for oil changes just go with 5k intervals, or if you dont put a lot of miles, every spring and fall. I have seen a lot of stained and sludge engines with 10k intervals as these run hot due to emissions regulations and cook the oil. Oil in the US is not so expensive so 5k intervals will not break the bank. Also short trips to the office for example if you are barely warming up and then shutting the engine off, thats a good sign for OCI of 5k or under. I have a 3.6L Town and Country with 185k miles and the engine inside is still spotless. I have seen that same engine stained and sludged with 10k intervals.

  • Love it, I was torn on what Raptor truck to get and and ultimately decided an F-150 Raptor made more sense for me but I'm stoked to see Ranger Raptors tearing it up out here in the US. Congrats on the addition to the family!

  • The comment of drivers in the area is sooo true. The same goes for Wisconsin, terrible roads and even worse drivers. Owning a big vehicle here is a must

  • Rear facing car seat will be an issue for your precious cargo without rear vents. It was after 20 minutes of driving that we realized our newborn was sweating even though we were cold. Please take that into consideration.

    • The best thing you can do in this situation is to not over dress the little one and limit the layers of blankets. Lastly push the vents to blow to the side and upwards a little since heat travels up. I had a tacoma and it was nice and cool in the back when we had one baby. She would sit back there with him and she was often cold that I had to dial up the temp.

  • Just got me a Mitsubishi mirage g4 for $16000 out the door, couldn’t be happier. I feel just as fulfilled with my shoe box on wheels as you with your truck, congrats on both the truck and the new baby.

  • Love the video. Can't wait to own a Ranger Raptor myself. Question for you.... I just bought a DJI Action 4 and want to start making some videos of my adventures.. What video editing software do you use? Thanks.

  • Great truck, thanks for the review! Did you compare the Ranger Raptor to a Chevy ZR2 by chance? Curious about the suspension on and off road, daily handling, acceleration vs the new Ranger Raptor, and oh, the Goodyear Territories vs the KO3s :)
