Seals are best
That's what every predator thought
Thoughts of a polar bear
Weddell seal: "Eeeeeeeeegg! Just 2 weeks old, and I have to follow my mother in icy waters..." Harp seal: "That's amateurish! At 2 weeks old, my mother had yet abandoned me, I was having my first moult, and had to escape sealers on top of that!" Hooded seal: "Well... I've been abandoned on the melting, drifting ice at 4 days and when I was 2 weeks old, I was yet having to hunt for myself, I'll say no more." Anyway, Weddell seals have a brain which is 70% the size of their mom's, and at 70 days old are yet weaned and independent; human beings, on the other side, have a brain which at birth is 25% the size of their mom's, and often by 25 years old they still haven't fully developed it...

... " large brain means they can reach independent..." what?
INDEPENDENCE
But brain size ≠ intelligence
It does, however, indicate maturity. You maintain the same IQ (or intelligence) all the way through your life - disregarding any kind of traumatic incident. Most humans' brains stop developing, or "maturing", when they are 25. Seals' brains must stop developing (reach maturity) much more quickly than that, considering their significant head-start.
But physical maturity ≠ social, emotional, and intellectual maturity, which is what you need when you're independent from your parents (seal mom, in this case) and going out into this world alone. You need neural density and complexity.
Do some research on your own. This is certainly not true.
