The 2021 US Open main draw runs from August 30 - September 12 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 141st time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Dominic Thiem is the men’s singles defending champion but has withdrawn following an injury. Naomi Osaka is the women’s singles defending champion and will be aiming to claim the title for the third time in four years. Meanwhile, No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic looks to complete the calendar Grand Slam after winning the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon already this year. Should the Serbian lift the title here for the fifth time, he will also overtake Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to become the first-ever man to win 21 Grand Slam singles titles. With full capacity crowds back again, it’s time for the greatest return!

the kid is a beast, curious to see him against Tsisipas
I think you mean sitipas
No chance…tsitsipas in straight sets…without toilet break lol
@@Annu.26 no way without toilet break!
@@rshah2550 you meant Cheatsipas?
@@gonzalolibano6505 why u call him cheater
Hes getting better and better as the months go by. At this time next year hes gonna be a top 20 player.
He might already be a top 20 player in terms of his results.
If there wasnt a rankings freeze he would be pretty close already
No. Alcatraz 36 at the race. Rinderknech 53. Before us open start.
👌🏼
9th
he is like a right handed nadal but with the movement and flexibility of djokovic this kid is gonna be huge in the next 2 years
not at all like Nadal. Nadal only goes to the net for the handshake at the end of a match.
@@huzcer 😂😂😂😂👌🏽
@@huzcer That's often.
@@somosn4241 every player comes to the net for a handshake, win or lose
@@huzcer Yes, but the farther you get in the tournaments, more hand shaking.
Alcaraz is one explosive player! He's like one big fast-twitch muscle. Great to see how he loves to attack the net and also has a solid dropper.
Rinderknechs game is very clean. I see him top 50 easily soon. Alcaraz is just insane though
Rinderknechs is 26 tho. He has been improving and hitting the top 50 is possible but would be a surprise if he goes on to even make a decent living from Tennis at this stage. Alcaraz looks like he has serious application, along with talent. He was the youngest winner of an ATP event in over 13 years in July - winning an ATP event very young is usually a very very strong sign of a very bright future as it's hard to do that in the men's game.
Future grand slam winner.
If too many of the Nike guys win, we won't be able to tell them apart later 😂
Lol, I do like their kits.
Don't worry, djokovic has lacoste
Don´t worry, Tsitsipas uses Adidas.
He plays nothing like Nadal, I don't understand the comparison. His style is unique to him.
they have a similar poise on court and similar point construction. its almost like they play at the same rhythm. he is farther away from nadal's style than dimitrov is to fed, but i can definitely see the comparison
Alcaraz plays like Ferrero.
Rinderknech really should have closed down that first tie break.
That cost him the match!
@@brodaism And cost you the money
Looking forward to Alcaraz’s rise
Coming back from 3-6 deficit in a tie-breaker shows his competitive spirit in the order of Nadal. Alcaraz must've modeled himself after Nadal growing up.
@@Birdylockso ye . But nadal is better in terms of fighting spirit
@@cybercipher5770 , sure, but how old (young) is Alcaraz? Will you give him at least a few years to mature up?
@@Birdylockso he's only 18 since this May and has already won an ATP event - the youngest winner in over 13 years - that's a serious sign.
@@Birdylockso Mature up what? This guy is literally one of the best. But he is not the best . Just an observation . Nothing wrong with having a fighting spirit that is not as strong as nadals.
Alcaraz seems to have the perfect body type for tennis.
Grande!! Eres un fenómeno 👏👏
Alcarez is on fire.🔥🔥🔥
Tennis give me so much joy watching a my favorite tennis players just work so hard blood sweat and tears it soothes my soul❤😘
Alcaraz has serious power. He's not just a clay court player.
Alcaraz has the most potential of all the young players. He's got great movement, instincts and a huge forehand. When I see him play it feels like the young nadal.
Nice outfit and amazing game Alcaraz
Alcaraz can beat Tsitsipas if he plays like this (Edit: lol he beat him)
Yes, and if Tsitsipas played, like he played against Murray, but something tells me, he'll raise his game to much higher gears, that Murray match, was just for warm up, we all know, he's capable of much more, and can challenge Djokovic.
@@pauljohnson6019 the only one able to challenge djockovic at the moment is Zverev in my humble opinion. We will see!
especially if he can get someone to hack bad coaching into tsitsi's phone!
@@pauljohnson6019 he can’t challenge djokovic fam😂 clay is by far his best surface, and djokovics worst surface, and was worn down from just having to go through Nadal AND had a bad start. Medvedev and zverev are better
@@pauljohnson6019 let him get past alcaraz fast ...
I hope he has his "arrival moment" when he plays and hopefully beats Tsistipas.
lets go vamosss beat textsipas
The Greek will cheat somehow to win :)
So excited by Carlos!!!! Really hoping he has a great career and continues to entertain us for years to come! Let's see what he can do against Tsitsipas...
I'll be happy whoever win. like them both.
Alcaraz backhand look like djokovic
Vamos Carlitos.
Give some credit to french guy as well, who is a college guy taking big strides in the tour. He could have been 2-0 sets up easily, missing out 3 set points in 1st set.
Again: Please don't show the winner in the photo
Please upload an extended highlight of this match
Alcaraz is like djoko plus nadal
Es bueno este wn, tiene futuro.
He is so passionate, energetic and focused, congrats 🥳on the win Alcaraz. He may not go deep here but every match is a bonus and experience 💫⭐
Now youngest male us open quarter finalist in the open era
pls beat tsitsipas
lol that wont happen. 4 sets at best. Alcaraz will give it his best we all know that.
@@easyed7639 u sure about that?
@@pablocgvd i was just trying to motivate alcaraz lol.
@@easyed7639 so you were trying to motivate a person by saying he would lose?
@@pablocgvd its called reverse psychology. I knew alcaraz will read this comment. Telling people they cant do something is the ultimate motivation. MJ effect.
WTH is showing the stands instead of the handshake?
If Tsitsipas wins his match today it will be quite a difficult match in 3rd round for Alcaraz, but I hope he will be a great challenge for the greek...
Well well well
A great challenge indeed
@@Edin99 incredible!
@@andresnavarro7215 indeed It was😅
this guy seems like the mentally toughest out of all the nextgen players at least as of now
He has that no-nonsense, strong work ethic kind of aura about him. Only shows on court emotion in a positive way, similar to Nadal.
@@kieranrankie203 yeah, exactly
Yep he's nadal
@@joshheinink he doesn't like to be compared. They are comparing him endlessly with him. But he said many times that Nadal is a legend and he is trying his own way.
Sinner is also mentally strong
Let's hope he goes far
Wow, he's so energetic, reminds me of young Nadal.
Alcaraz seems to be the real deal
Rinderknech is easily the best French player rn, right next to Monfils and Humbert I'll say.
Welcome Alcaraz to the Big Leagues! This kid is soon to join the new "next generation" young guns vying to take over the Big Three. Djokovic still has some years in him and several more Slam titles. Nadal maybe a couple more. Federer unlikely. They'll be missed. But they've dominated men's tennis for so long, that it's also exciting to see these younger guys develop before our eyes.
0:41 wow right-handed young Nadal just pulled off a Novak shot
1:10 wow
Alcaraz is the future of tennis, there is no honor in displaying him in 720p quality when 4K and 8K are getting mainstream
How far can he go in this tournament ? The next round ( R 32 ) he will face Tsitsipas , it must be an interesting and entertaining match. Whoever wins deserves the victory.
Alcaraz vs Tsitsipas is gonna be fun ... let's see how many bathroom breaks Tsitsipas takes lol
Ez tsitsipas win but this kid has heart for sure
I knew he would win and he did ;)
Alcaraz... The new Rafael Nadal for Spain... 👏👏👏
There is only 1 Nadal, a legend of tennis forever, but Carlos is a different type of player. Their only similarities are both are Spanish and fight every point to the limit.
@@juanquintana6070 I agree, but I said that because of the kid's potential. It's huge.
Alcaraz will win a slam. No doubt.
GOAT-the greatest of all time.
waiting for van de Zandschulp vs Ruud?!
Ruud is out!!
@@juanquintana6070 yeah the video of the match...
Who else scouting who Fritz plays in FO
alcaraz again now stepping to 3rd round
rinderknech service motion so weird lol
Das fehlende t triggert mich echt so hart!
Please stop showing the winner on every thumbnail
That dynamite forehand kept the toilet man's bladder full
the next Rafael Nadal
why does Alcaraz has an easier draw then Medvedev lol
Have you ever heard of "the luck of the draw"? Outside of the 32 seeds, names are drawn at random. You can then be lucky or unlucky. Simple.
what's with this new players with their hard names that have 4 consoles lol
They say 'next Nadal'. But he's a different player even if he's very physical. Lovely volleyer with attacking instincts and generally an easy style. Hope this guy makes it to the top and keeps doing the interesting stuff! [Edit: AWFUL hair cut, tho.....]
It could possibly be an excellent match vs. Mr. 8 Minute Toilet Break.
i never even heard of this kid
maybe nadal is playing after all
Nadal can now play Murray, in a friendly exhibition U.S. Open final, for fun, just skip all the early rounds, and jump right through the finals, let us know, what the score is!
Their game is not similar at all. Alcaraz is super aggressive and rushes the net at any chance he gets. The only similarity is their attitude.
@@mmm6325 their game might be really different but they are both agressive
@@mmm6325 absolutely right. Lots of people going comparing him with Rafa or Novak, but this boy is very much himself, and he is creating his own game.
very different players. wow, they are both Spanish!
Bamochman has won, yeah ;-)
Rinderknech's serve is a pure beauty.
His forehand as well, almost as fluid as Federer's.
The REAL DEAL...He flirts with pressure, thrives with it, lives with it
I wishe players wouldn't grunt. It's off puttimng/.
Alcaraz can beat anyone in the world! Literally anyone! In grunting and screaming.
Is not annoying at least, like others. Almost 50% of the players grunt nowadays. This is inevitable when you play these kind of power tennis.
Imagine being hater of a 18 yo kid,how pathtetic must be your life
For sure Nadal will get beat 8 times out of ten on hardcourt..this kid is someting
