Hello Mr.Kilmer I would like to purchase a 2010 Toyota fielder what are your views on it and could you make a video on the 1.5 liter 1nz-fe engine
Would you recommend the Lexus IS350h?
Scotty, you're not cheap. You are a financial minimalist.
Scotty Kilmer What year is the car?
Scotty Kilmer Sorry sir, you answered my questions right at the beginning of the video. I started a little into it. Have a blessed day🙏🏽
Legend has it that there was a Land Rover that went 10,000 miles without a single failure. It was on a boat to a junkyard in China.
Now a land cruiser, on the other hand...
DSTY legend has it the land cruiser drove over the ocean to China
Believe it or not I've met a Land Rover that drove 120 000 miles without a single issue. And it's not an old one. Made in India and still running strong.
Peter G. You sure the owner didn’t take it in for repairs and have stuff fixed without you knowing ?
Joe L. Do you have one to give away?

I’m really happy with my 2019 Camry, I got a 4 cylinder naturally aspirated engine that produces 203 horsepower for when I need them. Best thing is that I can go about 520 miles on a full tank.
Also worth noting that new Toyota’s do have direct and port injection. But it will be port injection most of the time since it only uses direct injection under heavier loads and port injection under normal driving conditions.

Juan Barrios I bought an is350 a week before this video came out lol. The 350 is more reliable than the 250, the 250 is gasoline direct injection and the valves tend to get dirty. Sea foam needed for high mileage models.

I got one of these in 2017 for 27,000 and you can still find them now for 26,000. Holds its resale value. I’ve driven it 80,000 miles in 3 years and nothing out of normal maintenance. Amazing car !

Great review as always Scotty!! Definitely makes me consider one!! Thank you!!
Scotty tells the truth and simply speaks his mind for which you are free to like him or hate him. I recently returned from a 9 day trip to Dubai. 99.9 percent of the taxis and Uber cars in dubai are camrys and mid sized Lexuses. The I ones I utilised had mileage between 500,000-700,000 km. To me, they all seemed to be running perfectly fine which I found to be pretty amazing. I have no idea how these things can last so long in stop and go traffic that is Dubai. I guess Toyota and Lexus have some seriously talented engineers who take their work extremely seriously.
You right Scotty had a used gs300 for 4 years. The only thing I had to replace with the warranty that expired already. Was the trunk lift shocks. But the suspension shocks now need replacing. And yes the quality is great.

How much you put down and how is annual maintenance with insurance ? I only wanna put down nomore than $1500
Scotty is right! I bought a mint IS 250 from CarMax. This is a dream car for me. A sporty Lexus. It's not a powerful engine, but it's plenty fast. If you wind it up it'll go fast. My main reasons for buying this car is that I loved its looks, I love the comfort and luxury, and it's extremely reliable. The paint on my car looks brand new (it's a metallic midnight blue, but it's so dark it looks black) and surprisingly enough the windshield doesn't have one single chip in it. You can also take these cars to a Toyota dealership and they can work on it far cheaper than a Lexus dealer. This gets nearly 30 miles to the gallon. I'm in love with this car!
Good to know got a clean 2015 a month ago, I’m in love with it.
Yup, I love my 2008 IS250 V6 RWD with the sport package. The only major thing I’ve had to deal with is the water pump at around 90,000 miles, other than that is just regular maintenance. The second generation,2006-2013, looks great and can be found for around $10,000 or less. That’s pretty cheap when you consider what you’re getting

I have that exact model in the F-Sport package. Cost $41,000+ off the showroom floor. Been a great, great car.
Congrats! I'm thinking getting a used one LOL.
Thank you Scott 😊 Been having my 350FSport for 2 years now. Absolutely no promblems. N/A with the f sport intake upgrade and wheels and a bodykit with a tune I'm making 370whp. Not crazy but a bulletproof daily for years to come 😍😍 *ps I bought it for $20k with 40k miles*
does the engine hava vvt hose explode problems?
@@pietrostrassmann1585 not mine. Had it for 3 years and still going. 2nd owner and got it at 40k miles for 20,000$. Currently reads 70k miles and my value is still 23,000$ 😂 Only thing I say is a problem are the wheels and axles. A small upgrade with a squared setup runs smoothly.
@@pietrostrassmann1585 I dog the hell out of this car and the only promblem I’m getting is maybe the battery is low cause I’ve noticed low voltage when running it on acc for 2 minutes minimum it’ll almost shut off. Aslong as vtt hoses go, that happened to me with my old Lexus SC300. That car was a gem, small fix and I was back in the road. Might be a Lexus thing so upgrading it wouldn’t hurt.
@@goatpier7570 how do you know if the voltage is running low? I picked up a 2016 IS300 a month ago. No issues so far!
Hey Scotty, love my 2011 Lexus IS 250. Solid car never have any issues until now, no engine or transmission issues, it’s the front right side of the car, if I’m in reverse backing up out of driveway roll on a small bump a crunching sound is coming from the front end somewhere. The same thing happens in drive also if im pulling into my driveway I hear it, also if I turn my wheel sometimes I hear it. When I come to a stop , it almost sounds like I’m hearing my breaks making the sound, because the sound pauses, as if it followed the timing of the anti lock break compressions, the break noise or the noise the breaks are making isn’t the breaks both rotor and breaks have been changed. I know sound resonates on the metal in the front so it’s hard to determine where the noises coming from. I almost positive the right strut is bad, and the strut mount could be making noise. Also during dry sunny weather it’s the sound is worse, during could humid weather you may not ever hear it. Or one day I sprayed lubricant, over all the front end parts the noise stopped for awhile, but started agin a week later. I should have sprayed one part at a time to isolate the part lol. It has 110,000 miles on it. And still performing strong. Any suggestions is to what is causing this crunching noise?
