@@cyndaquil1433 pretty much right,and that's why as much as I dislike his personality traits,I enjoy how they humanly portrayed him as it further explores the blurs of morality between angels,demons,sinners,saints etc. Adam has the privilege of being the first ever human and so despite him being a angel,he is taking full advantage of his title and he behaves as he pleases even if it's not up to the moral code of heaven.Where as we have someone like Charlie who is a hellborn demon who grew up in hell yet she still retains kindness and purity that would make others ever doubt she is a demon in the first place to begin with yet she is stuck in hell simply for being born there.

IMO, the whole concept of Heaven and Hell in the series is a criticism of modern Christian’s (in america, at least) idea of who belongs in Heaven and who belongs in Hell. This guy swears all the time, is clearly very lustful, prideful, and gluttonous, but he “never made any mistakes” in his life so he gets allowed in heaven, but Lucifer just liked creativity and free-will and got banished to Hell.

I guess in this version adams pretty bitter and spiteful towards Hell after everything that happened. For one thing, his First Wife, Lillith, left him for Lucifer when she refused to submit to him. Who then presented his Second Wife, Eve, with the fruit of knowledge which then ended up getting both of them kicked out of Eden. My guess is that he either assumed this form as a weird way to punish him and his wife for eating the fruit, or he took this form as a way to mock the demons of Hell. I mean he legit looks like a devil. In a priest robe, with golden wings and a halo above his head. To me, if i were a demon, id be insulted. But i bet that works both ways too. Bc i bet the guys in heaven are disgusted by him too.

I think the team can do some interesting things with Adam’s character. He seems incredibly petty and self-indulgent, so he might not even be motivated by the fact that an angel was killed, but is more just mad at Lucifer for stealing his girl, and Lilith for choosing to go with Lucifer.

Considering Adam's design, I think there's going to be a soft reveal that Adam was the first sinner and he ended up in hell after he died. However he also "redeemed" himself when a certain hippie came down from earth but instead of being grateful, he took it for granted and has been exploiting his position ever since. This can go along with how early chirstian works and stories were censored to keep a narrative going and keep those in power during the early days of the Christian Church

I guess in this version adams pretty bitter and spiteful towards Hell after everything that happened. For one thing, his First Wife, Lillith, left him for Lucifer when she refused to submit to him. Who then presented his Second Wife, Eve, with the fruit of knowledge which then ended up getting both of them kicked out of Eden. My guess is that he either assumed this form as a weird way to punish him and his wife for eating the fruit, or he took this form as a way to mock the demons of Hell. I mean he legit looks like a devil. In a priest robe, with golden wings and a halo above his head. To me, if i were a demon, id be insulted. But i bet that works both ways too. Bc i bet the guys in heaven are disgusted by him too.

Considering Adam's design, I think there's going to be a soft reveal that Adam was the first sinner and he ended up in hell after he died. However he also "redeemed" himself when a certain hippie came down from earth but instead of being grateful, he took it for granted and has been exploiting his position ever since. This can go along with how early chirstian works and stories were censored to keep a narrative going and keep those in power during the early days of the Christian Church
His design is..... a choice and I should've known since it's the same creator of Helluva Boss so I guess they're gonna write every character the same way, especially Dads as Adam is the father of Humanity, technically
