    • Shit, I lost 15 pounds in 12 hours of brutal ass farmwork. Not hard Came home from shopping the other night and had gained back 7 pounds in 8 or 9 hours of eating again. At work alone, I'm drinking over 2 gallons of Gatorade in the summer.

I've never deliberately cut weight like this before but from every athletes interview they say the last few pounds are the worst. It's probably pretty hard buddy.

    • I was gonna mention that it's incomprehensible to me because of that Fahrenheit scale but in actuality, I know that a fever that high would kill her thanks to endless debates I had over this shit in the last two decades.   • I cried watching her like that when the video started. I always respected Cris for her outstanding performance in the Octagon. Seeing someone crying is deeply heartbreaking. These people are unbreakable, these people got used to pain of the worst degree. Even with broken bones these people never stop fighting. It really gets me when people like this cry like that. Cris achieved in one life the dreams of many. She buried fear like no other in a fight.

    • @@pingusbror It's dangerous for the bigger fighter (major kidney issues can come from this sort of drastic cutting) but also for their more naturally smaller opponent. In extreme cases there can be brain damage from the power discrepancy (think Gatti v Gamache).

  • I’ve worked with Cyborg before as an assistant to her trainers and coaches, she’s one of the nicest women wrestlers that I have met while working as a administrative or personal assistant in that industry. She has a heart of gold, idk why some people are so scared or mean to her. I hope I get to work with her again in the future but in the mean time I’m taking a break raising my family. I love working in that field providing any support as I can to these trainers, and professionals.

    • It’s a mental thing, try sitting in a sauna with a sauna suit and a hoodie/sweat pants for 15min then 15 on a tread and repeat that numerous times under supervision of course. After that Those 15 mins feel like hell, hot baths with epison salt is relaxing part for me but sucks as well
