This was from a Russian interview and I think it was misquoted. He did not mean literally the bones will break like what happened to Conor. The best example to explain this is that, Khabib said, "I won against Justin mentally first." Once the mind/mental breaks, the physical/body follows.

The way his brothers look after him while he is cutting weight is beautiful to see, helping him get dressed, undressed, helping him up, getting things ready for him. Meaning is 'all Praise is due to Allah' we typically say it after any type of good news/success or overcome something difficult. Like after a birth to a win in a fight. it helps supress the ego. To an athiest the equivalent will be to say 'always think you are/were lucky'. Both will keep you motivated and not rest on any laurels.
