I really do love how all the pictures of proof are incredibly blurry 2013 screenshots or literal pictures of TVs. It's such an aesthetic.

I really hope they go all out with stuff like this in GTA 6. The Florida bayou setting is perfect for swamp monsters and other weird myths/creatures

I remember on the 360 version, I was randomly walking in the maintenance tunnels just wandering until I heard something. That, I did. I heard what sounded like an alligator hiss near one of the drains. Made me jump lmao. But oddly enough nothing was there.

@@Daydre4mer there is a sewer gator sound clip in the gta files but no model for the actual gator. you can hear it when standing by the blocked areas in the sewer
And then rdr2 proceeds to have a bunch of them and are very terrifying
@@trevorphilips9065 maybe during gta 5 development they had gator models in early development but scrapped them and then in rdr2 development they brought them back and put them to use

Great video as always, but I feel like it's worth bringing up Franklin's side-mission of collecting UFO parts across the map when discussing UFOs in the game.

It bums me out that we can't really have true, proper mysteries anymore. Datamining and the internet make most stuff impossible to keep secret.
I always try to think of ways to make this possible, but it’s hard. The internet always effortlessly slaughters all mystery and intrigue, with sweaty data miners and spoilers with red circles.

I dont know a lot about Florida but I hope the gam has a big forest in it filled with paranormal stuff in it.
I hope they add an area like Wakulla in the game. Basically a big swamp full of gators and venomous snakes. A lot of creepy stuff can be done there. In fact, the Creature of the Black Lagoon was filmed there

It would be cool if they added an ghost tanker truck that spawns on the main highway, and has a “head-on-collision” with the player, but just phases through the players car.

Unlike the previous GTA games, I honestly don’t know much of this games rumors and myths.
I'm pretty sure you can see the fort zancudo ufo at any time before 100%. It's just really, really high up, higher than Chilliad. It also spawns a green beam of light at some building inside the base at 3am or something, and only lasts for a few in-game minutes so the window to spot it is very small.
I actually remember when the Jetpack search was going on... Iirc The theory was it had something to do with the Mount Chilliad mural, a golden egg and finding all the hidden Ufos
great video. I know there was a lot to cover, but unfortunately you missed the ghost dog from the Dom Beasley missions. Very eerie thing to encounter. Scared the shit out of me when i first encountered it, and realized it was a ghost.
The ghost truck glitch I actually saw in GTA Online not to long ago on my PS4. I saw a SecuroServ truck spawn driving in freeroam, only nothing popped up on the map at all, and it was an odd gray and black color scheme, like the trucks when protecting Casino assets in the Asset Protection contracts for Franklin. So it was like that instead of the usual green and white. I shot the driver area to steal the truck, but nothing happened as I quickly found out nobody was driving it.
They recently had a ufo mission where you take pictures of the ufos around the map and send them to the ufo enthusiast of the game. I did most of it but not sure if i got all the ufos on camera before the mission stopped. My main complaint is that the screen turned orange/tan at night time during the mission and it rained all the time making driving practically impossible.
I remember one time when the mechanic was trying to deliver the car, I ran in front of the car with a gun to shoot him from the driver's seat but he got spooked and took off. I literally chased him across the map from the del perro pier area all the way to grapeseed where i finally got him after he had looped around the airfield. That was indeed a glitchy ass N.P.C.
I was pretty shocked when the Mount Gordo ghost turned out to be real. It seemed like such bullshit especially after growing up with San Andreas.

At the back gardens near the three sewer drains,in the luxury housing near where Franklin’s final house is, I heard monster screams coming from inside one the drains. I posted about it on Reddit but no one had a similar experience, at least in that area. Someone said it might have been a peyote noise, but I listened to every peyote noise and not a single one anywhere near resembled it.

Rockstar allowed their games to have these eerie yet sinister and cool legends/Easter eggs. I love these kinds of things in open world games. Especially in gta

13:41 those have been disproven since, turn out the AI have a bug where they can die like that, it happens it loads of other places around the map (even happens in online mission), and to the writing of the address, it’s just someone writing their address so you know where to go

very early online days, two UFOs were just parked in the downtown streets, one block away from each other. one was leaning on the park and the other was wedged vertically between buildings. everyone in the server was just hanging out on top of these UFOs, tripping out about them and dancing. that was a good day :)

Those normally happen when inside one of the homes, believe it or not, it is the pilots in planes despawning and the planes crashing.
a dude i used to play video games with, he sweared that he saw a creature eating a body with a lot of blood around them in the maintenance tunnel and then i showed him a picture of Ratman and then he said that it looked 100% like Ratman

About the strange howling, there's coyote's in the game that can howl, I've heard a coyote howling before and ran it over with Trevor's truck.
I looked into the Phantoms one a couple times before. I think they're supposed mimic bugs flying around in swarms? But looking at it again, it looks more like car exhaust being blown in a circle by the wind
You should do a deep dive into Bully. It'll probably be it's own video and not a series but I'd imagine there's at least some content ? If not that's ok!

Rockstar and Bethesda are the only game studios that still have amazing and creepy secrets and myths in their games I love finding stuff like this in games and going down rabbit holes of secrets in these games they just remind me of the 360 days when every game had stuff like this

I can confirm that in GTA 5 if you remain in the wilderness long enough you'll die. Like, just drop dead. You hear a buzzing sound and your health bar starts draining for no reason. It only happened once or twice to me, but it did happen.

the plane one is just the plane despawning when you enter an area to reduce lag, i was confused with this for the longest time
13:50 I don't think that is part of an easter egg, that happens to some NPCs in other parts. I can't recall exactly an example, but DarkVipersAU about GTAV gliches has shown examples of it.

A lot of myths are easily proved/disproved when it comes to games simply because of modders ripping the files and just searching the models.
Ratman is one of those Myths that i still believe could exist in GTA 4 somewhere

He's useless now, you can't bring him back to your arcade as far as I know. He just spawns, when you kill the driver of the van he walks off.

I think the howling and the "hell hounds" are coyotes which can be found in the game
I have been going to the desert in GTA 5 online a couple of times and I do hear the howls from those Coyotes HellHounds. It's not really that scary but it's really creepy. Comes to mythology and legends, I believe in these type of stuff. No one believes me that I do sometimes lol
3:04 didn't they remove the mechanic because there was a money glitch where you could duplicate cars? That's why now the cars just spawn nearby

Sometimes on coyo preco you can come across the loch Ness monster it floats in the water and you can stand on it you can't shoot it though it's like a blow up thing I ran across it once going to the airport in a boat
