I am amazed at what these workers can do. In the USA we would not tolerate working conditions like these. However, we have for many, many years been industrialized, modernized, OSHA-fied (rules and safety mandates) and of course we're just a little bit spoiled! Watching that bucket come together was really awesome. The end product looked top-notch too. *These people know what real work is! Watching them work with that heavy plate steel was incredible. Too bad they probably do not get paid nearly what they deserve!* My hat is off to you all! Incredible...just incredible!
Sadly the only ones who make money off the videos is this channels so I never click or subscribe to them.
Red tape, rules, and regulations are always designed to decrease American productivity under the guise of PUBLIC SAFETY.

The stick welding machines used by these blokes in Pakistan and India, are made in backstreet workshops as well. Nice seeing the old Cat 920D in the background. Was my first loader kitted out for log handling.

I don't think that was a hydraulic press, but a rotary flywheel press. I almost lost an arm to one of those in the 1970's... A hydraulic press moves slowly, a flywheel press makes a fast stroke and no easy way to back up. It makes one down and up stroke in a single flywheel revolution.

I make this comment as a retired toolmaker and design engineer who still uses a metal shop (at my local Menz Shed) and I can say that I am really quite impressed by the workmanship in this video. The freehand gas-axe work was beautiful - especially cutting out the holes for the big pins. I even learnt something new - I have never seen a lathe used to line bore like that. The positional accuracy wouldn't have been great, but it would have been good enough, and the hole sizes would have been more than OK. Even Kurtis at Cutting Edge Engineering uses a hammer to adjust the cutting tool when line boring, although he does have a DTI to get closer tolerances than these guys would have managed. I am maybe a bit worried about the welding as there was bevels I could see, so the welds would have had little penetration. I guess if it works, it works.
What impressed me most was the Safety LOL
@@olagh. Yeah. Not even a Colin Furze Safety Tie.
Their hard work is impressive, what I see short is tooling and safety measures and if they get these two sorted, their production will be more smoother. Back in the 80's in Dubai, I saw this fellow single handedly build a tanker body on a Mercedes-Benz truck. He got his plates bent into shape and delivered on site. The worksite was out on one side of the lane, in the open with traffic passing by. Everytime I drove down that industrial lane the tank body took shape, untill it was painted to finish and delivered.
Great comment ! I wonder how many fingers and toes these guys lose ? OSHA WOULD HAVE FIELD DAY HERE . lol !

This is incredible. The hydraulic press guy in blue clothes was master of his trade, he knew how much pressure to apply and at what distance, look at the curve to the sheet in the end, it was perfect. The sheet cutting skills is top notch too. As a Pakistani I have seen these local fabrication shops myself. On the way to school there were many shops of all trades, I use to stand there for hours sometimes to watch them working. Now decades later here in US I do all kind of repair myself (Car, home etc). Its probably the attitude what I got from these people, never be shy to do any thing.

--- Very good job. Looking at the video, it seems that all the tasks are easy to perform, but we know that reality is quite different. Watching the video, I have the clear impression that everyone who participates in the factory really likes what they are doing, some work smiling, this is great because it demonstrates the satisfaction of the job done and the accomplishment of something well done, that is, an excellent final product quality and from what I understand this excavator shell will last for a long time.
Más sopa de makaku
The thing that amazes me is that no one wears any kind of safety gear , no goggles, gloves, boots etc but they still get the job done! Not saying i would recommend it but amazing nevertheless.
We learned a long time ago that safety glasses saves eyes, steel toe boots saves feet, ear plugs saves ears, and gloves saves hands. We also learned that the cost of the safety gear is nothing compared to losing a limb. I'm sure they have the best doctors and insurance to take care of what ever life threatening injuries they may have. Either way the job will get done because these workers are cheep and easily replaceable.
From several old industrial movies I have watched, I think they have similar employee work safety you could find in major industrial countries like the UK, USA or Germany on 1850-1930s. For me that gap does not look so big considering the huge difference on income and opportunities.
It's easy to see why big companies move operations to these countries lol

I give these guys hella credit for work ethic and using what you got but there is 100% no way that those welds are burnt in hot enuff for what they're doing. Hard working fellas tho, they aint even sweating and you know it's gotta be hot there!
Lol, the way you guys squat hurts my knees lol but y'all are amazing to watch. Hello from Texas🇺🇸👍
They probably only 19 years old,do more squats than Arnie,I love there language 🤣 🇳🇿
OSHA just had a coronary! These guys are fantastic craftsmen and seem to be aware of all processes at all times. Great focus being demonstrated by everyone. Most surprising to me, despite working in beachware, none of these guys is missing a finger or toe. I think I curled my toes a dozen times expecting to see someone get pinched or burned. DISTRACTION is the NO. 1 cause of injury and this video proves it.
If they injure a toe, it gets infected, and antibiotics are not available. You don't see them because they died.
Bingo. Its scarier working on a Midwestern freeway at night with a bunch of guys who need a mental break after 20 minutes and oh they better really quick make sure Facebook is still there and their gf is ok and they reply to that Snapchat message.
@@TronVila We shouldn't have to remind people to keep their head in the game, although it's good for our own safety. Stay safe.
Trabalho pesado e perigoso, porém com grande habilidade artesanal. Parabéns aos profissionais. Nota 10. Que DEUS os abençoe e proteja sempre de nunca haver um acidente. Jerônimo/🇧🇷

Gosto também de assistir esses verdadeiros artistas da criação
so much respect for these guys, they do very well with what they have. great job.
thanks
Awesome! I just wished you didn’t cut so fast in the end of all videos - we want to see more of the finished product!!! 😃👌🏻
the finished product probably wasn't worth a shit
Watching these guy bust their butts everyday reminds me of how my grandfather used to put food on the table. It is hard to listen to people now days cry about how hard they have it at work. Great job job men, you show what hard work, teamwork and skill is all about.

we have all lattest technology ..but use is depend on the project cost estimation..
I will say this, gentlemen, great work, you have proven that you can make a really useful thing from scrap metal, you only need knowledge, skills and imagination. Cheers from the UK
i started my adult life as a welder/fabricator doing mostly heavy welding (7018 stick). I have to say these guys amaze me. First that they all are either in sandals or barefoot, second that they work so primitively and third that they actually make a nice product in the end! I’m kinda shocked that they beveled NOTHING before welding such thick steel. I wonder how long before repairs are needed.
That thing is garbage that will come apart under load. The bushings weren’t even fully line bored.
I saw another video on the making of an excavator bucket. This time from South Korea; with precision CNC machining and modern techniques. No, they did not bevel the edges prior to welding too. kzhead.info/sun/hbuNddKpgJx-jWg/bejne.html
It's not a "nice" product if it comes apart through bad weld prep.
These guys are very brave and hard working in the condition compared far beyond safe than Morden workshop facility yet they produce goods to keep business running! Well done all of you
