9:07 People's comments are making me sick here. Blaming the cammer to run through a yellow light just coz the black pickup driver was timing his green light. Doesn't matter what he was timing, he entered the intersection at red light, so 100% at fault. The cammer entered the intersection at yellow and would have passed it before it turned red, so 0% fault.
Yeah I mean, the light is still red as the truck is flipping onto its back. He totally ran it and would have crossed the entire intersection before it even changed.

As a former claims adjustor, you're spot on. Cammer would be assigned 0% fault.
The misconception with the yel.ow is folk think it means proceed with caution when in fact it means clear the intersection. So if you're in the intersection get out. If you are not stay out. It doesn't mean speed up before the light turns red. Commercial was wrong.
@@billyford7853 You're right to an extent. You are supposed to stop when approaching a yellow light and you can even be cited for not. However, as far as collision avoidance is concerned, you SHOULD be safe running a yellow light. This only happened because the truck ran a red light. I said "should" be safe. Since, in reality, too many people run red lights, you have to stop at yellow lights and even be cautious driving thru a GREEN light. EDIT: oops, I somehow deleted an important sentence when I composed this LOL. Sometimes you cannot avoid being in an interaction while the light is yellow. It can turn yellow after you're already in the intersection. It's the red light runners that are making the roads a dangerous place.

Crossing two lanes of traffic is not the issue if turn signals were utilized. Though she did enter the intended path of the Jeep(?) she did have control of that travel lane. Notice how close the car before her cut in? Then the Jeep tried to enter space that simply was not there, he intended to cut her off as he imagined she had done to him. Again she was in the travel lane, merge must yield. This exact same thing happened to me except I was driving a tractor-trailer. Merge must yield. However when the Jeep was in front it appeared that it was bumped by the camera vehicle. That is illegal. But the final straw is when the Jeep came barrelling around the left side to again get in front of the camera vehicle and was hit. That was entirely on the Jeep. Several mistakes by both parties, one more than the other. People need to learn: If the other driver is going to be a prick, let 'em go around you. They are now no longer your problem. Perhaps fate will catch up when you pass them, beside the road with a state trooper parked behind them.
@@rondohunter8966 just moving over 2 Lanes in heavy traffic isn't an issue? O....k....then guarantee several people were cut off and they had no business trying to be in that lane since it was full. The Jeep then cut "hun" off cause "hun" was now running from a accident. Hits the Jeep again and pulls away. Bullet to the head should solve it. Also you say it appears it bumps the Jeep....lol omg several times the first hit. Even hit the gas. Plus there's 4 lanes. Non of them were merging lanes by the time this dumbass cut across like he owns the fucking road.
I drove limousines in Boston for about fifteen years. Toward the end, the company started installing iDrive cams in the cars, though the chauffeurs didn’t have access to the footage. Sometimes, after a particularly remarkable collision evasion, or skid recovery on snowy roads, the owner of the company would email the clip to me attached to an “attaboy” note. I wish I still had those clips; I’d try to string them all together and make a montage.

Barry McCockinhur vehicle filming his light was yellow turning red, black truck was red, soon to be green. You can tell he was trying to time the light, but he was in the intersection before the green for his lane. I do this, try to time the lights to slow down less to keep a steady flow, am also a pickup truck driver. I needed to see this, I need to time the lights when they turn green, and a additional 2 seconds for any traffic to clear intersection. Eye opening how he got flipped, the inertia of how far he traveled before he stopped, everyone's possible injuries involved. Whoa me, 9:08 tells the story.

Hail, hail, state police! That Maryland State Trooper is a badass. I hate drivers who cheat traffic like that. Always brings a smile to my face when they get caught.
I used to live in Seattle and regularly crossed the West Seattle Bridge to get on the northbound I-5. It's an old 2-lane bridge with a branch at the end where the left lane traffic exits onto to I-5 and the right lane continues onto Columbian Way. In the morning, left lane traffic would be backed up for half a mile waiting to merge onto the freeway, worsened by lane-jumpers who would drive all the way to the end on the right and than attempt to horn their way into the left lane. WSP started stationing a trooper in the median handing out tickets (with a smile) to the lane jumpers, and it was one of the few instances in a really anti-law enforcement area where the cops got applause and no one told them to up after "the real criminals." And the recipients were 9 times out 10 driving exactly the kind of vehicle entitled a******s everywhere drive (BMWs, Lexi and Escalades were popular) and invariably argued with the cops, no doubt telling them to go catch "the real criminals."

If he had been slowing down properly for the red light, he wouldn't have caused the accident. The camera just proved the cammer was in the right as he went through on the yellow. The green light didnt show for the black truck until it was damn near upside down and all the way through the intersection.

@@swee_steel9998 Remember that we only see the crashes, not the every day traffic. A lot of Russian cars have a dash cam because it is impossible/very expensive to have get comprehensive insurance. Thus evidence against the other part in a car crash is essential.

When they were merging together the cammer hit the rear end of the orange vehicle. Orange vehicle mustve thought cammer was fleeing and decided to block their path with her car. Cammer was originally at fault but at the end orange vehicle would be in trouble...that was a wierd case all around. Cammer definitely shouldnt have a license though

The red car was not moved out of a lane, they were both going for the same lane at the same time... but I don't disagree that the cammer was in the wrong for not pausing between lane changes. It's everything AFTER that that caused the accident, which means it's everything AFTER that that determines who's at fault. And just beacuse someone is a dick and makes a terrible lane change doesn't give you, or the orange SUV, a right to brake check and keep cutting someone off until an accident happens. This is just "instant karma" for the orange car.

I want to thank you for these compilations. I’m not watching to see people suffer or because I’m being entertained by it. These are great gore-free clips. I think this is highly educational. Most of these accidents can be avoided and often even by all parties involved, including the ones not at fault. We should drive in a way with the lowest probability of an accident and that sometimes includes foreseeing situations like all these and avoid them before they can even escalate.

Even though the black truck driver blatantly ran a red an insurance company might have argued that since the light was yellow he shouldnt have been in the Intersection. And yes I'm aware it was green seconds before, just thinking from a company perspective

@3:17 OK our cam guy is a jerk crossing 3 lanes at a time BUT then you get burnt orange SUV who decides to stop in front of him cause she is proving a point? trying to make him mad? Only to throw herself in front of his vehicle just to make sure there was some kind of damage(she was going the other direction when she was changing lanes but I guess she found the time in her schedule to be dramatic) BUT what the heck is she going in the back seat for?? Does she have a kid in the car??? Oh and I hope her insurance finds her at least 50% to blame after seeing her stop in front of the cammer, there was really no damage till she cut in front of him the 2nd time. I have to admit I am in a crappy mood and her stunt really made me mad lol.
