Thanks for watching, Have a great day !
I'm genuinely in awe at this man's ability to just "eyeball" measurements and straightness.
It's like he studies under shelby or somethin... lol
He might just not show it in the video
same here 😬
Super
Comes with the Territory when you've been tinkering for as long as this man has
my respect for this guy just instantly grew when realised that he's doing this all in sandals
Right, and he did this all in one go
Cos, using sandal in workshop is not familliar in europe.

the beauty of this channel is because the videos are "mute" art, you don't speak a word and everybody in the world can watch and appreciate without restrictions such as language. Thanks for the content, keep it up
your 8th liker and yeah I agree with that
No because of his creative mind
I actually dont care for it because there are no words or narration.
Language of demonstration, can be understood by anyone who can see. Your comment made some connections to me. It is easier to explain by not saying anything, but to demonstrate it physically.

Being honest, this guy is a genius and especially with this one. i loved this go-kart and i wish i could buy it. Congrats man, you deserve it

There's nothing more annoying than having to hand-screw something together kzhead.infoUgkx1McjgiqTNcTjrhvRvJWcrk5bzTeQW-Wn except for the pain in your wrist that is. This addition to my tool kit is great and I can get a lot done without all the pain and annoyance. The battery last's a long time and I have yet to run out of power when doing a small project (granted I am saying small project because I'm no construction worker). The only thing that I wish it had was an LED or pair of LEDs to indicate when it was charging and whether or not the charge was complete (or full).

I would love to do this same exact build at home this summer. I have the garage space, I just need the tools, materials, and patience. Seriously though, as a complete beginner, I understand it might not be recommended to suddenly try and build a kart, but I'm fascinated by this.
Why not... just do it.. if anything you will learn. You think this guy or anyone else did it in first try? It takes trial and error... try with small lawn mower engine if you cannot find a good one... I wanted to make on too but with my 600CC bike engine.. but I do not have space lol. I have a garage but I dont have much space left to do all this experiments. But you should try if you got space
Bro can you please list the tools and equipments that he has used
Me too
Get at it man. I'm starting my first build this weekend. Gonna keep it simple a d each one after will get bigger a d a little more out there. Already got an engine for my first big build which will be a drift trike but that's gonna be a few months out. Figured to get comfortable with it first and learn some things so I don't get burned out right away in something that was out of my league
Really like the no music. The sound of work is nice.
Yeah 🤘
I love how he takes off his sandals to test out the pedals and engine while sitting in the cart.
Chopping metal and welding: flipflop Going for a test ride: leather jacket and full helmet. I love it !
No CAD, all straight from the mind! Wow! Hats off to you sir. I want to build this with my kids 😀. In another build consider adding springs for shock and vibration damping.
This guy is a fab genius. Props and hats off to him.
No he is not. He just owns a garage with metal things. There is literally nothing hard to make go kart. I have a lot of designs and drawings about machines and other mechanics but sadly i dont have much money and garage to make my ideas come true.
@@the1831 congrats on replying to a 2 year old post. Really. Designs and drawings are not going to get you anywhere in live if you don't have the metal work, fab, and engineering skills your not going to be able to make spit. I see so many people in the industry that thanks if they go out and get 1000s of dollars in equipment they magically know what to do and thing they will know how to use them. Don't down someone elses work until you actually know how to do the work your self. If not you don't have the skills to appreciate the time and work its self. thank you for the tutorial, now i can make my own DIY F1 Gokart v3.
Someone give this man an oscar , pure art and skills and with passion
I love this guy's ppe selection. Those steel toed flip flops are the bomb! Great job though!
I believe he did a brilliant job and the proof is the end result! He doesn't appear to have the machinery and tools that some of the "more perfect " KZhead channel's have ie lathes, milling machines and cnc machines etc and makes do with a cut-off saw a welder and drill! The finished build is rather cool and a whole lot of fun! Also he wears the same safety boots that are traditionally spotted in the average Australian male's garage/shed! I myself thank him for the inspiration and his clever ideas! Well done mate!
Awesome althoughy design and characteristics were different, FINALLY SOMEONE designed an idea I had for a decade and a half although there is a few changes I want to add, and would have been a whole lot different, this is very well respected but that's not to mention the guys craftsmanship, that's uncompared excellence!
You made a badass go-kart out of your own metal that's dope main congrats that your project came to a success 🙌 👍🏽
He did a really good job , most of us cant even put together legos
itsjustshawnnn people are able to put legos together? I been missing out......
I cant count how many times did i watch this and all your vids.. I really admire you. I really to have that kind of workshop. Keep it up sir 😀💪💪
you know he's legit using circular saw on a flip flops.
It wasn’t a circular saw, it’s a chop saw. Ask for the circular saw at a job site and they’ll throw a skil saw at you. Not the same but who cares it’s been a few years .😂
Love your workshop, excited to have something like that one of these days.
Good to see he’s wearing steel toe cap flip flops almost safer than colinfurzes safety tie
should be added that while welding the mounting point of the sprocket to the axle, e welded with the ungloved hand, and spun the wheel with the gloved hand, never know when those tyres mught bite back!
Nah. The safety tie has a lot of features
hahah
Safety tie insures it gets sucked into a machine before his head
But he has the asian version of the safety tie... The safety beard.
The guy is an absolute genius. Shame on he who criticize him!
Yes, shame critizism. Pathetic

well i certainly think he did a great job....what he did is so amazing and inspiring and i'm inspired to the last degree....only if i had access to those materials i would surely make one.....that is super amazing...i love his work infinitely.........he should keep on making more videos
Amazing build my friend great how you used the drift tyres and they don't make any tyre marks on the road great idea keep up the good work
Holy booger weld Batman!!! Freaking cool way of doing it all have to give the man props.
it has always been a goal to make one of these shifter karts and im 14 and i finally got it finished the other day only diffrence is mine has independent front suspension and swing arm suspenion in the back same motor n everything this video helped alot
You should take off the pvc sleeves of the rear tires the engine has enough touque to make it drift at low speeds without it, it'll also be much safer at high speed
tires probs arent durable enough to withstand the drifting?
I want a turbo on this thing
It's probably far easier on the clutch having the PVC on
Not only is it easier on the clutch but the axel welds are only so strong and enough torque repeatedly could snap them and loosen the bolts from vibrations. That said I would still take the sleeves off if it were me.
@@ifarewelli I thought this too! Imagine a small enough turbo to spoil and generate power
That dedication though. Great job!
Love the Safety slippers/flip-flops!!
This build is better than 99% of homebuts karts, of course not including Cad designed crosskarts, but karts made in garages for backyards and some off road riding. I;m also impressed that , that little engine has reverse.
That's what I was wondering 🥵😂
everyone gangster till the asian starts drifting in reverse, either way i love the build

@@Gregg0112 I was gonna say that this whole drifting only starts to work when there is front axel brakes, how else do want to make the rear come around?
Most karts have rear brakes only though
Lukas Hampel lol what? In order to drift you either want to break your rear wheels or give enough torque to make them slip.
Exactly what you want in order to drift

@@jaycedavis4674 I wonder why I don't have a shifter kart engine in my garage
Manjula Bandara not talking about the engine the tools
@@ManjulaBandara "shifter cart engine" it's not a shifter kart engine it's probably just a simple 150cc Chinese engine. There's no such thing as a shifter kart engine. Just a motor. That's probably the reason there isn't one in your garage...

Flip flops: the proper footwear for working in the shop! Awesome video though. Kinda makes me want to go and build something.
Cool but if u ever build a "next version" of this, try out these features: 1. Make something like steering ratio, with chain and 2 sprockets or just 2 gears, for more steering wheel turn degrees - like 45° on front wheels equals 360° on a steering wheel (idk how to say it correct, hope u get it) 2 .Add some +castor angle to the front (for self-steering/better countersteer) 3. Change direction of sequential shifter. 4. 3 pedals + E-brake. 5.Some weight distribution? Would be sick af drift cart

I only question go kart tyres The engine is an easy task to obtain in Southeast Asia (Vietnam and Indonesia has so much motorcycles), basically all you have to do is get a decrepit bike
Its just if you fix aloy of engines you have these thigs and dont have anything to do with it
