  • A tip, spin your mount 90 deg and make the engine mounting holes oblong by about 3/4 of and inch so you can tighten your chain after it stretches after a few weeks of riding. By having oblong mounts it allows for some play instead of having to get the spacing perfect or having to redial your holes.

  • So nice!!! What a great job on this build. What kind of step but was that on the makita impact??? I don’t see those bits at Home Depot lol. Does anyone know and can share?

    @RockLander818@RockLander8182 жыл бұрын
    • H H..... You find them pretty well anywhere that sells tools, especially drills and drill bits... Including Harbor Freight, Hardware Stores, Ace Hdwr, Lowes, etc, etc. Home Depot does has them in the Milwaukee Tools brand, from $19.97ea. to $224.97 for a 6pc set. They also have the El Cheapo - titanium coated steel step bits for $14.97 for a set of 3 Step bits.... and all I will say is, Good luck with those!!..... you get what you pay for, especially from a big box store with "middle men" between the mfg. in China and the retail stores. You would be better off getting them at Harbor Freight, if there is one anywhere near you. I bought a Cobalt 3 pc set from them under the Hercules Brand name a couple of years ago, now.. for about $34.00... and I've used them quite a bit on aluminum, steel, copper and brass, and they've been great and have held their sharpness quite well. I do use Cutting oil whenever I drill any metals, so that helps a lot in holding their "edge"(sharpness). Hope this helps you.
