Great question. To my knowledge, the Brio 4K might’ve been rebranded as the 4K pro, or they are similar enough that it’s tough to distinguish. (Images that pop up via Google search look almost identical.) The interesting new pick on the market (as of March 2024) is Logitech’s MX Brio, which I haven’t tested but seems to be their latest: www.logitech.com/en-us/products/webcams/mx-brio-4k-webcam.960-001558.html
@@witandwire Hi again - thanks for your reply. I went ahead and got the Brio 500 on your recommendation - however the video is very jumpy when I record in Descript. It seems to work fine with Loom - do you know if there are some settings I should be using in Descript to make the video not jumpy? Kind thanks

Nice video. But in the preview section below, just it allows 2160p - 60 fps. Where is 4k?? Also, does it work in every computer for 4k 60 fps
Great question. For this specific video, I didn’t realize until after recording that 4k wouldn’t be available because not all of the cameras can record in 4k, and the video’s maximum capability defaults to the lowest camera’s capability. (In other words, since not all cameras could record in 4k, the video can’t be watched in 4k.) It’s on me. I think the comparison still shows a helpful side-by-side, but I would need to rethink filming if I did another in the future, i.e. 4k options only.
Thanks for the comparison of models I've been using and/or considering. The Logitech C920s is showing its age these days, but is fine for basic Zoom calls and starting out with stationary vlogging. I was able to get a used Elgato Facecam and that's the one I keep coming back to for all around image quality (with adjustments, as you demonstrated) without making the leap to a Sony ZV-1. Ultimately, the ZV-1 knocks them all out of the park, but as you said, it's not really a fair comparison. I also just learned that Android 14 has native webcam functionality via USB, so I will be experimenting with that as probably a step between the Elgato and a ZV-1.

Does anyone know if there's any real difference between the OG/2017 version of the BRIO 4k and the new 2022? Apparently there are 2 versions on Amazon even though there's only 1 on the official Logitech site. Sorry for copy and paste spam as I just want to know what I'm buying asap. Thanks!
Great question. I know what you’re talking about, but since I haven’t purchased from both listings, I’m not sure. My best recommendation would be to email Logitech’s support team if you’d like a full spec comparison, although they might also recommend purchasing the newest model.
l got Brio 4k this thursday. Super cool webcam love the quality of logitech though, l must admit that it gets heated over time while recording 4k (General problem for 4k cameras) :) other than that everything is great.😎 and thanks for the video l had a lot of impression from this video about different webcams :)

am I the only one who sings the iPhone was the best؟
why is it apple can make a webcam built into a laptop that just works and NOT ONE brand will make one either as small or as good. i know the mbp webcam isn't cinema quality, but it's GOOD quality out of the box with ZERO settings.
Ive tried them all the elgato is far better . The razor has unusable software and fish eye . The brio just looks bad . Ive tried all settings on all cameras across different pc's and it wasnt even close .

Your lighting was terrible or something. All those camera's looked horrible, when they don't look that bad in reality.
Not only she has horrible lighting, she also didn’t alter any settings on those cams
