The 2023 Galaxy Book 3 Pro - Has What's Missing in Windows Laptops!
This means everything to me 👉bit.ly/subscribe-mobiscrub
The Galaxy Book 3 Pro is easily the best laptop for work in 2023 that you could get. It may not be the cheapest or the most affordable, but it's easily the most stylish, sleek and productive laptops in 2023.
It's a workhorse. Packs a punch of performance with the latest 13th gen Intel Core i7 1360P processor, 16 GB of on-board DDR5 RAM and 1 TB super fast SSD making it an unstoppable productivity beast. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro is a great choice if you're looking for a portable, easy to carry, ultrathin notebook style laptop in 2023.
What's it not meant for?
Don't get the Galaxy Book 3 Pro if you are looking for very skilled, high intensity workload, production or development work. Primarily because it lacks a dedicated graphic card or GPU, it has fixed non-upgradable 16 GB RAM which could prove insufficient for heavy tasks and it does not have an H or HX series Intel CPU which are meant for heavier workloads and CPU intensive tasks. It is also not meant for gaming.
What's the best part of Galaxy Book 3 Pro?
It's literally the ability to work with other Galaxy products, if you have any. Galaxy Book 3 series laptops, despite being Windows laptops, come loaded with Samsung specific native apps that work beautifulyy together with other Samsung devices like smartphones and tablets taking productivity to a whole other level. These apps, features and tools are optimized to function seamlessly between Samsung Galaxy laptops, tablets and smartphones. This is something no other Windows laptop can provide.

Great video. Was being lured ever so slightly over to the "other side" due to seamless integration of devices but with with these features I get to continue enjoying my S Pen on my Note!
I thought of another question. Regarding the high gloss of the display and resulting glare and reflection issues. I understand that turning up the brightness would help with that, so I imagine putting it into HDR mode as you referenced below in your initial reply to me 3 weeks ago will up it to 500 nits, which is great, but I would most often need that when outside using it on battery, and I understand that one way to maximize battery is to turn down the brightness, not up, which is counter productive to helping with glare and reflection if mobile outside. Any thoughts on this issue, or suggestions? And do you think one of those after market anti-glare or anti-reflection films you can apparently buy and use, do you think that will help, and help much, and without noticeable picture quality or other tradeoffs? And if so, do you have a particular brand or version that you'd recommend here? Thanks.
So much clean cinematic video, keep moving forward 👍🏻
Love the review and the explanation. Well done
thank you for the great presentation of the laptop, i just purchased mine so is there some 1st steps such as first time charging it for 6 hours or something like that. ill appreciate your answer.
Thank you, finally comprehensive summary of Ecosystem features.
Nice work! Thank you :)
Informative review with great visuals as usual 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks Alex. My team does a fantastic job..
Absolutely love your videos. Only thing I want to point out is, everyone seems to only mention quick share even though Samsung has had Samsung Flow for years now. It's a lot faster than Airdrop or anything of the sort. Takes a few seconds to transfer files up to 1GB and even more.
I would have never in my life realized there are those stickers in the bottom! They are impossible to see if you don't know about them! Thank you so much!
Other youtubers only focus on the mainstream tech, I mean all of them are reviewing the same thing in similar formats. Thanks for focusing on other stuff. I find your Galaxy Device features videos really really helpful. Keep up the good work! Any solution for S22 Ultra and Macbook pro M2 owners? How can I work seamlessly across these two devices? I think samsung has stopped its Dex service for MacBook.
You should get a samsung galaxy book 4 with the Meteor lake intel cheaps provides much imporved battery life and performance coming really close to what Apple provides, you get the added benefit of Galaxy ecosystem features too
Thank for this video quality you was perfect 👌
Glad you liked it!
Great video, thanks for the info. But I'm curious as to how to get that rainbow effect screensaver that you have on the monitor in your background?
Rainbow effect? Which one? Can you tell me the timestamp

Kindly do a Tab S9 11’ review please as everyone does the ultra and plus models ❤
Is it good for programming tasks?
Sounds like a great laptop and I really like the interoperability with other Galaxy devices but it doesn't appear to be available in Canada. At least it's not on the Samsung Canada website.
Canada only has Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra

But what about oled burn? If i want to avoid oled burn i need to remove all icons from desktop? And one more question. This laptop has Two Thunderbolt, do they support 4K 120hz output to external monitor or TV which also 4K and support 120hz.

Great review. I was wondering about the price any idea ?

One of the few reviews anywhere across the internet dedicated to the "14-inch" variant of Galaxy Book 3 Pro, so big thanks. I'm curious though, about your stated battery life. Did you actually get 10-11 hours or just quoted advertised numbers? That's M2 Macbook Air level and would be insane for an Intel machine to achieve, if true...

Hii, is it use full for 4k video editing
Lol, this should be my first review watch on this particular Galaxy book. I've been seeing noise about the ultra & 360 since. This one however seems to solve the problem I will have with the M2 air, the ecosystem. And it's looking to have an M2 air level of battery life, the only draw back the this track pad. M2 Air's haptic track pad is just very comforting to use.
does the galaxybook 3 pro support bluetooth ssc or other codex, and does it support bluetooth dual audio
This video is on another level. 👍💯 I've been watching you all this time, and there's a lot of improvement in video editing and cool visuals, etc....
all credit goes to my production team... ☺️
Everyone keeps complaining about the trackpad. Honestly, I don't get it. It's a matte glass like the galaxy phones that feels so satisfying under your fingers, and is super responsive in my experience. Also, it touch clicks and supports multitouch. My old laptop was 8 years old and supported multitouch, and I can't remember the last time I used the physical click button
well done review.
is this good for programming?
Hi, with this laptop can I virtualize using virtualbox and VMware?
Is there an extra slot of nvme on it for ssd expansion?
Nice display, but I'm not sure about gloss, and it seems to juggle very easily. Also, It looks like keyboard uses flat key caps. The keyboard and dished key caps of my Legion 5 Pro 16, will make it hard to use anything else, plus no RGB backlight instead of that harsh white.
Hey does this have a sim card slot ?

Thank you for addressing that the Ultra Tablet can be used as a second screen. That made me buy it!

@@Hassanshahzad055 I have not dropped the Pro 3. I have had no issues with the Pro 3 to date. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the charging port is only on the left side. I wish it was on both sides or only on the right side.

A question regarding using the laptop and phone together as you show around the 3:25 mark: If I'm wearing wireless earbuds watching a youtube video on the laptop as an example so no one in the room around me is bothered by the sound, and if I have the phone, say a Galaxy S23 Ultra next to it, with the appropriate selections made, and I get a call, can I just move the cursor from the laptop over to the phone and answer it, and have the wireless ear buds work for talking on the phone, or similarly make an outbound call on the phone using the cursor, all quickly and easily? Or do I have to quickly do some clicks within the software somewhere to be able to do that, or other? Thanks. How nice to be able to have the laptop and phone side by side, using the phone as a second screen, maybe to monitor streaming stock quotes on the phone while watching a youtube movie on the laptop, and just dial out or receive calls just by moving the cursor over, all while I am wearing the wireless earbuds so I'm not bothering others in the room with sound. I just wish it came in a 17" instead of the 16". And the Dell XPS 17" 9730, so tempting, it costs nearly twice as much. So, I'm seriously considering this 16" Book3 Pro purchase, along with a new S23 Ultra phone.
In my experience, I have not used ear buds to take calls on the laptop. I have integrated my phone and the laptop so that I don't even have to scroll to the phone to answer, it will just ring on my computer and allow me to answer it directly with the laptop and talk using the built in mic. I am curious now as to what would happen if I had earbuds in. You can absolutely just scroll over to your phone to answer your phone kind of like having two monitors on a computer, but you likely wouldn't have to.

I bought galaxy book 2 pro i5 variant last year. but it was overheating even when i was just browsing internet nothing intense. everything else was amazing specially amoled display. Due to overheating issue I replaced it and second unit was also overheating so finally I returned it. now they have launched book 3 pro with some amazing changes like 14 inch display with 16:10 aspect ratio compared to galaxy book 2 pro 13.3 inch 16:9 aspect ratio it is better, second thing they have not used plastic housing this time compared to last gen that was cheap looking for such an expensive device. last but not least they have used 2 fan compared to single fan in last generation. now again I want to buy this laptop it is perfect now but not sure about overheating issue as not much reviews are available online for this device. please help me with this doubt if you have used this device for long stretch.
Same dude i also want to buy this laptop, almost bought Book2pro last week but canceled as i saw they have launched pro3 but i am just concerened about heasting as well but this laptop looks too good tbh. I also have LG Gram 14" in my list but seeing it has very low quality build i am leaning more towards pro3.
I will receive my Galaxy Book 3 Pro 16" 16GB 1TB tomorrow, so I will tell you about the overheating after a week or two.
I bought Galaxy Book 3 Pro 14in, received on Friday so using since last 4 days. Build - 9/10 Very close to Mac Air Battery - Normal use 8-9Hr easily (5-6Heavy Use) Heating - No Heating tbh if you are just using it normaly but if you are running heavy apps and also charging it together it does heat up but no too much that you have to be concern about its very normal. Display - Its the best Amoled display i have seen yet. Also it seems win11 is specially customized for Intel Evo laptops, it very much works like Apples OS. Easy to use.

That's all I do on my laptop is graphics. it can keep up with whatever I throw at it. For me its Windows that is the crapware spoiling my experience. Basic functions are a series of very unnecessary steps. Starting with the start menu which is a total mess. I fixed that with Stardock software Start 11 so I wouldn't throw my laptop into a wall.

Is this laptop good for programming? I'm studying computer science and I'm looking for a new laptop :)
This and a MacBook Air are both great.
Who needs an sd card reader nowadays? It's like needing a USB A port. MicroSD and USB C are the way to go to standardise and forget about adaptors.
the only problem with this laptop is that it is using Intel as its processor. For thin laptop to get more battery life, it should use AMD 7900s new chip, which is more efficient chip.
I am waiting on amd's new power efficient chips, preferably in light gaming device, even better with that new mighty iGPU graphics.
@@Shineinpoverty Hi. What power efficient AMD chips are you referring to? Also, do you what type of laptops would get them? Thanks.
Hi I bought Samsung galaxy book 2 pro i5 12th variant in BBD sale at 54k for coding purpose only. I am using it from 12 days and there no heating issue with normal use like browsing, multitaskingand KZhead. The laptop is perfect for college guy with coding purpose. The cons I feel that 1. The screen size is just enough but they should have to give atleast 14 inch size galaxy book 2 pro. 2. The battery of laptop on at very normal usage is 5-6 hours only with Intel Evo certified, they should give backup of 8-9 hours on single charge. The prons are Display perfect Build quality perfect Full premium Speaker are good Other things are good Just buy it and you won't be regret.
What languages do you code with? I’m curious cuz I want this but idk if it is good for coding
Good review. Substantive and shorter, a great combo. A question though. I've been seeing reference to the Book3 Pro and Pro 360 only having an HDMI 1.4 port. But then I saw two reviews that referenced though supposed to be HDMI 1.4, they apparently still exported 4k so that confused the reviewers. But then I went to the Samsung website, and noticed that the Book3 Pro lists HDMI 2.0, but the Book3 Pro 360 just lists HDMI without a number associated with it, which made me suspicious that they chose to intentionally leave the 1.4 reference off the 360 thinking just saying HDMI would sound better or maybe fool people. Bottom line, any way you can confirm, do both the Book3 Pro and Book3 Pro 360 have HDMI 1.4? Or maybe does the Book3 Pro 360 have HDMI 1.4 but the Book3 Pro does in fact have the HDMI 2.0? Can you or anyone confirm this for me? I don't care about the s pen or really the touch all that much, though being able to tent the Book3 Pro 360 sometimes in tight places might be handy. So if the Book3 Pro does actually have HDMI 2.0 while the Pro 360 does not, then I'll get the regular Book3 Pro. But if neither have HDMI 2.0, then I will either just get the Pro 360 for the 360 hinge while still saving money, or I may upgrade to the Ultra, or go Dell XPS 9730. I also thought I saw reference to both the Pro and Pro 360 having up to only 400 nits, but you clearly reference up to 500 nits, which would be great. Do you know for a fact that either or both the Pro and Pro 360 do go up to 500 nits? You mentioned HDR, is that something that can be switched into that then allows up to 500 nits, does that explain it maybe? Lastly, do you know, do the Pro and Pro 360 get basically the same battery life? You mentioned 10-11 for the Pro. But I note the extra vent on the back edge of the Pro 360, clearly to add ventilation when closed into tablet form, but it makes me wonder if that might give it extra battery life too. Any idea? The first question about the HDMI issue is my priority, but I'd welcome input on the nit and battery questions too. Thanks. And help. The Samsung chat feature on the website didn't help me. It seemed they just went off whatever the website said, and that seemed to confuse me.
Congratulations 🎉 You have been selected as the lucky winner. Send me a message via the above username on telegram so we can sort this out’
Is that HDMI 2.1 ?
Samsung is moving in the right direction when it comes to seamless experience between their devices but still I'm skeptical about which audience they are targeting. As it is not a cheap laptop so the employer will still prefer to buy Lenovo, Del, hp and Asus for their employees as this Samsung price is massive and second when it comes to video editing it's not for the heavy task this laptop is only for the single hustlers, influencers, youtubers and solo workers, Free Lancers who are making a lot of money and even for that audience I still think they will prefer Mac, PC or any other brands too. They won't give a shit about Seamless experience for sure...
Absolutely Deepak. It's for a very limited audience group. It could be possible that Samsung is still testing waters with their laptops & still evolving their ecosystem. By making it pricey, they control the supply and test with smaller audience groups at first before they hit scale. It's not like Samsung doesn't know the cost and value other competing brands are available at..so I'm really assuming there's a strategy at play here.
@@mobiscrub 💯 your comment is spot on! That's true Samsung knows this market and its pricing. I agree they are actually testing water and at the same time trying to evolve their ecosystem. I'm just happy with the Samsung initiative. they are really trying hard with their ecosystem thing so that even windows and other Android manufacturers will contribute in future for seamless experience with them...
Great point. I've been on the lookout for a new laptop and it's come down to a shortlist of laptops from Lenovo, Asus and the upcoming 15-inch Macbook Air. Galaxy Book 3 Pro also piqued my interest, BUT the price isn't justified (it's a 10-nm Intel machine in 2023 without a dedicated GPU and I'm quite skeptical about the quoted 10-11 hour battery life). Brand loyalty and personal preferences aside, I wonder why anyone should objectively choose this laptop when they can get a Macbook Air at this price range or go for a less expensive Windows machine with similar or better specs. Also think the Samsung software suite alone doesn't make a strong case for buying this laptop because there are alternative solutions for most of the Samsung software offerings here.
@@lordtardar4639 You make a strong argument about the price not matching the hardware of this laptop and I say that as a user of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. If there are high quality 3rd party workarounds that can replace the Samsung exclusive features, why should I bother buying this specific laptop?
@@PSYCHOV3N0M To add to your point about exclusive software, I personally won't find myself using some of those features so much or at all that lack of Samsung's software-hardware integration would become a dealbreaker. For example, I don't really need to use my Galaxy tablet as an extra monitor or run the mouse cursor on my phone too, though they can be dealbreakers for some. What is a dealbreaker, though, is spending 1600 on a machine that would probably choke under normal video editing and rendering with 4 hours of battery life when put under the slightest pressure, or at least that's a risk I wouldn't want to take to find out.
