I switched from iphone to the S24 Ultra and I do not regret it. I was kinda nervous at first because I've had a iphone since the 3G came out and I'm not going to lie, it was a headache to learn Android. But once I got it,I fell in love with this phone. I also dropped my phone already and the screen completely shattered 😅. But I have the samsung care and got a new phone for $99.
I'm planning to do it too, I've always had apple here in Brazil, and with time it tends to become more expensive, so its so much money to buy products that are very overpriced that an apple ecosystem tends to be 3x expensive than buy products from samsung and use their ecosystem.
@@thebombshellmale Do it. At first it's going to be alot to learn and you might get frustrated but once you learn android, it'll be the best phone you've had. I'm still use my MacBook and I have my apple watch h but just to check the time. I'll get the Galaxay 6 classic soon tho.

yes because a more scratch resistant screen is an easy cracking screen in every time they need to choose crack resistant over scratch res or scratch resistant over crack resistant.
@@user-hw1ln3ry9q would my screen be safe from keys, coins, etc if I choose to not use a screen protector? I lobw thr anti-reflective screen but I have a screen protector on now. Im using a case so I don't have to worry when I drop my phone.

switched from iPhone 13 to this beast and have it since 1 feb! Cannot tell you how much impressed I was with this device. The only thing I missed so far was facetime and imessage capabilities but that also sorted out since we are in India lol

But. For me. Using 2 hands is THE NORM. I HAVE NEVER USED A SINGLE HAND.
I've never understood the metric of using a phone with one hand. That just seems like the stupidest, and least important thing to measure or worry about. Of course there is the one hand feature, but I've never found myself in a situation where it was vital for me to only use one hand with my phone. And if you are in this situation, you're probably doing something stupid. So as I said, it's a stupid thing to mention or worry about. Other than that, good vid.

Hii... Thank you for the video.. I had a small query Does your S24U gets dim under bright light when it gets a bit heated? Caz my phone gets too dull under bright scenarios if it gets a bit heated...
thats typical for better phones and i dont mean flagships but its throttling things for power and heat effiecieny

Sansung Smart switch should work and use a cable instead of wifi and it's even faster

cmon man enough with the paid promotions..... why arent you guys talking about the thousands of screen related issues that people are facing around the globe which samsung doesnt seem to care about. i myself own a samsung s24 ultra and it has the same grey diagonal line issues and the service centre staff are telling me that this isnt a problem and they cant do anything about it. Samsung has the worst service centre compared to any smartphone brands for sure.
I don't have problems with mine, and the service center also comes down to the individuals you encountered. I get better service where I am

Mine is the best phone I've ever had, my wife has the s23ultra and this is just superior in every way., Mass production always has few units that are suboptimal I guess , I hope you get the help you need and deserve.
I have got both iPhone 15 pro max and the s24 ultra, Lemme talk about one thing i hate about s24 ultra which u haven’t shared with the audience. Samsung s24 Ultra camera sucks when it comes to going live on social media apps like instagram FB and KZhead. Try going live on these apps using s24 ultra and for some strange reason, the OIS doesn’t get activated. The entire LIVE comes jittery. Hope samsung fixes it. Also as a vlogger who uploads videos on FB too, android fb app doesnt even allow us to add thumbnail to our videos while apple fb app allows us to do that.

Thanks for your response. Yes, i am getting banding when i click a shot in 12mp mode. It seems to be less visible in 50 or 200mp modes.
Battery sucks even with FHD, most of the apps put to sleep, adaptive display. Inability to change font size of an individual app is ruining my experience. I had high hope for S24 ultra. Regretting my purchase. Hate to have to return to iphone 15Pm.

Paid by Samsung.... 1. Did not talk about grainy display. 2. Did not tell that frame is grade 2 titanium and gets usage marks easily. 3. Haptics are below average as on vibration mode notifications are missed all the time.

11:47 Finally someone talking about vibrations. It's also one of the important part of the phone. Good to see you addressing different scenarios when we're wearing different pants or maybe the device is in a place where it's important to know if any call or message have arrived. Though you didn’t talk about haptics which I also do think is a huge part of a phones experience, reviewers should talk about these more.
I really love your videos. The ways you have coordinated the colours of the icons with your t-shirt is superb. I am an S24 ultra user and I want to use it to its full potential. So please make a video on the apps that would increase our productivity and keep us a step ahead of non-ultra users.

Ahh thanks buddy, Currently using a note 10 plus 5g, and i will be getting a new phone in the next week or so, have been struggling with the decision of either an iPhone 15 pro max or the Samsung galaxy s24 ultra... love the iphone, looks good on video's, and the speakers are the best on any phone they always are, haven't used an iphone since the X... lol but i think you helped me make my mind up now... The S24 ultra has won me over more ty 😊

I don't think that can be answered so quickly... Burn in tends to happen over a long period of time. But I've never had that issue personally..

I think go for the Vivo. I was also confused between Vivo and xiaomi. And now fixed to Vivo, i will import from China. Right now am using s23Ultra and iphone 13mini.
@@johnsamuel261 Thanks man but it's too late, I have already ordered the Xiaomi 14 Ultra now. The Vivo screen and speakers were just not good enough to purchase. I'm currently using a Pixel 8 Pro and a Honor Magic 6 Pro and to be honest the pixel as a whole package is hard to beat. I just hope the Xiaomi 14 Ultra beats the Pixel 8 Pro in daily use.

I thought I should have received the ONE UI skin on ANDROID 14 by now. Even my galaxy tab s7 FE is running on Android 14 and One UI 6. What must I do to get the update?
Go to settings and check if there is a new software update. S23U have already got One Ui 6.
There's one handed mode designed specifically to solve that discomfort. Also you can swipe down anywhere in the home screen to pull down the notification. I have added a gesture to open one handed mode. I can swipe down from the right edge to go into one handed mode. Simple and easy fix

Still using a S22U since preorder. It's survived an absolutely hard life with little damage. Dropped on road, off bed, off table, thrown, face first on steel, no major troubles.

I was in service center a few days back for my s20 ultra and saw many ppl who brought their S24 Ultras for some fault. Spoke to a few and it seems there's some known hardware issue with it where the phone will freeze and restart frequently. Samsung is yet to acknowledge the result officially but internet is filled with such issues. The problem with new gen phones being S24U or iPhone15, there high prices with low repairabilty is a big issue.
Do you notice any grainy texture (mura effect) or bandings on your phone screen, as some of the users have reported in many forums? This makes me a bit hesitant to purchase the S24 series
I just want to say I'm still rocking a zfold 3. I've dropped it so many times. This thing has been through hell. I've never put a case on it, and no cracks, just minor scratches. I guess I'm just lucky, haha. I once had it unfolded, and it got hit by a basketball and thrown out of my hands. I've never seen a more violent phone roll, but it was totally fine, and that was on the concrete.

switching over from Vivo x80 pro to this beauty. I hope its worth it. Main reason is: SD8gen3, 7 years os updates and support, cameras and software, on the go gaming, SAMSUNG. Once had the Galaxy Note 9 and never had this feeling of satisfaction while using a smartphone. So yeah. Really looking forward to this beast.
I have had the S24 Ultra for a month now. I agree with this review, except for the battery life. I get an average of 6-7hrs screen-on time. I have to charge it in the late afternoon to use it through the night. Outdoors on cellular, I get around 5hrs screen-on time from 100% to 0%, with adaptive brightness and Always-On Display enabled

Regarding Battery: I am on light mode processing, theme is dark, refresh rate is Standard 60hz, Screen is on FHD+, Power Saver is always on and I generally use battery from 80% to 35%, with web scrolling and moderate youtube watch it can last 1+ day but I still expected more. With this kind of saving I wanted at least 1.5 days. Idk maybe some future optimizations will improve battery usage.
Why did you get the best phone in the world and then operate it at 50% lol you people are a trip when you do stuff like that...I'm using mine at performance profile and 1440p and normal everything and get through my day no problem....maybe someday you will understand how to use a true flagship phone properly
@@digitalx3136 because most of the time I need its "50%", but if there will be need I could use it on 100% - simple. If your car has max speed of 300, your are not driving it everyday on max.
Makes no sense to last 1.5 days because then you have to charge your phone in the middle of the day. It makes more sense to put all the settings at max, charge the phone at night when you're sleeping then wake up with 100% charge that will last you the whole day and only charge b4 you go to sleep again.
Great video, very informative. The 'real-world' use is what's important to 90% of users. No question the S24U is one heck of a phone but I'm not at all happy with the idea of having to subscribe to fully use features. That phone lists for almost $2K here and Samsung wants to squeeze even more out of its customers? Also, nice to see Canadian icon Tim Horton's in one of the pictures.
