Here is a bullet list of the tips discussed in the video: Tip 1: Notification Popup Style [0:32] Go to Settings > Notifications > Notification popup style. Choose Brief instead of Detailed. Go to Edge lighting style. Choose a color for different types of notifications (e.g., green for WhatsApp, red for KZhead). Tip 2: Secure Lock Settings [1:21] Go to Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Secure lock settings. Enable the option to erase all data after 20 failed pin attempts. Enable Show lockdown options. This will lock down your phone and disable all notifications and Biometrics when you hold down the power button. Tip 3: Enhance Photos with AI [2:12] Open a photo in the Gallery app. Tap the Edit button. Tap the three dots and select Ratio. Choose a specific ratio (e.g., 1:1). Crop the photo. Tap Save. Choose Increase resolution using AI. Tip 4: Walking Monitor [3:38] Go to Settings > Digital wellbeing and parental controls. Enable Walking Monitor. This will track how much you walk and help you stay safe. Tip 5: Loud Listening Monitor [4:04] Go to Settings > Digital wellbeing and parental controls. Enable Loud listening monitor. This will track how loud you listen to audio and help you protect your hearing. Tip 6: Quick Text Shortcuts [4:50] Open the Samsung keyboard. Tap the three dots and select More options. Tap Text shortcuts. Tap Create. Enter a shortcut phrase and the text you want it to replace. Tap Save. Tip 7: Clipboard Privacy [6:14] Go to Settings > Security and privacy. Scroll down to Additional privacy controls. Enable Alert when clipboard is accessed. This will notify you when an app or website tries to access your clipboard. Tip 8: Emergency SOS [6:44] Go to Settings > Safety and emergency. Go to Emergency SOS. Enable Send SOS to emergency contacts. This will send an emergency message and call to your contacts when you press the power button five times. Tip 9: Multi-window [7:34] Go to Settings > Advanced features > Multi-window. Enable Swipe for split screen. This will allow you to split your screen into two apps by swiping up with two fingers from the bottom. Enable Pop-up windows. This will allow you to create pop-up windows from any app by swiping diagonally from the top right corner. Tip 10: Oracast [8:50] Go to Bluetooth settings and expand the full settings. Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select Broadcast sound using Oracast. Create a password for your Oracast stream. This will allow you to share audio from your phone with other Samsung devices that have Galaxy buds. I hope this helps!

For Tip #3 I don't see an option to increase the resolution of the photo after clicking "save"
Too bad the timestamps are all wrong therefore useless
AI is still inefficient..
In the future, I hope phones will include a feature that sends an email to a specified address if someone enters the wrong PIN number. This would help us know if someone is tampering with our phones when they are out of our possession or if the phone has been stolen.
Also, I love how you can make a 24 hr time-lapse of a picture!

Appreciate your time & effort! Receiving the S24 Ultra on Monday; going to follow along to freshen up my memory recall on how to set everything up. Been using my iPhone as the primary for personal use for a while, & upgrading the Note 20 Ultra (business use) to the S24 U… I have a feeling I’ll be using it as the primary device & turning the iPhone to a secondary. The S24 Ultra’s screen is Godly. I upgrade iOS & Android flagships every other year, keeping them in rotation as a business tax write-off. You got a new sub.

THANK YOU SO MUCH !! It's my first SAMSUNG phone and I just bought the 24 ultra .. but I think you should have added few features from the goodlock app , like the ONEHAND features or the BACKTAP option using registar ( like the iphones ) or the quick commands which is veryy handy !!
First time I saw one of your vids. Very well put together. Indeed not common tips. Good work.
You can actually stream on 2 Bluetooth devices by simply going to the media output accessed via the notification screen. Just select both devices and it will stream on both! Used it for parties or at home when I'm going from one room to another and both speakers bumping!

Hello, Great video. I just wanted to tell you on the edge lighting feature if you leave it on auto it will deliver the notification based on the app color, the option "Color by Keyword" is used in case you want to highlight something specific like a message from a specific person or a youtube channel that you always want to watch their videos. What you showed in the video is not wrong at all, I'm just explaining it wasn't needed because the feature does that by default.

its completely useless on s24 ultra as soo it hasnt curved edges, its purpouse was to indicate a notification when it was upside down

My favorite feature is to use the Panels (That white little line on the right side.) It's useful to also open multi-window apps, so when I want two file managers at the same time, I can have two or more on screen at a given time.
Adapt sound is amazing....been setting that up since my S10+.....as for notificaions, if you use GoodLock (and you can get GoodLock if you're a PRO and yes I'm in europe)) there are features that'll blow your mind in Edlightening+. I use most of Samsung's apps except for the browser. Messages for instance let's you customise each chatroom. The keyboard can be customised and you can resize it. Screenshot shortcut can be found in the edge panels....I can never get the hang of pressing the keys. Auracast is amazing or ill be but not everyone is like me....I like to match everything with my phone...Galaxy buds....Galaxy watch....you know what I mean. Great video though...love the way you explain things.
That Adapt sound hearing test is frickin amazing! I use that on my S24U and it makes an amazing difference!! Super noticeable!

@Oystein87 those features are Still very useful today, in terms of new features there's the NFC special cases that changes lock screen, and the circle or search AI , the transcription features, even things like copy and paste clipboard are very useful. Also the ability to play Mario 3d world and super smash bros on s23 ultra i can't live without that's what makes me excited to use Samsung every week. My and my android friends with xiaomi we even play zelda tears of the kingdom

I cant seem to find the .3 crop upscaler tip, when I save it justs saves like i always does and it doesn't give me the option to increase resolution
For the edge lighting, I see I can do custom hex colors, but is there any way I can do custom multi colors? I see multi color is an option for the style, but I wanna make the edge colors orange and blue specifically for a Knicks theme.

Yes! It's in their contact info, you go to edit contact and you can set ringtone and text tones.
you have single handedly (is that a word, lol) helped me set up my s24. that hearing test thing.. idk if im deaf or something (but i did it then listened to a song.. totally started crying, lollll.. that rolled into like 5 songs, and a joy i havent felt in a while (and im a music junky!) def advise everyone to customize this!! so good!

Hi, could you please check and tell if you can add a portrait effect in a normal photo. In my S24 ultra the option " add portrait effect" is not showing in gallery editing.

Great tips. I love 17 extra imput. I have a telescope and when using my phone at night, it destroys your night vision. So I mapped the color filter option to the press both volume buttons. I have it set to change all display light output to red which significantly helps maintain your night vision and allows you still use your phone if wanted or needed.

Hi, great video. It's really helpful. Lifelong apple user here moved recently to S24 Ultra. But there is something which I fail to understand. Email apps like Outlook, Aol, GMX notifications does not appear in pop up style for some reason whilst the screen is in active use. I have enabled the pop up option within the notification settings, app setting and wherever those settings are, then restated the phone, cleared data and Cache, Updated/Uninstalled/Installed the apps as well. It just appears in the top notification bar as an icon only which is quite annoying as I was running the test emails to check setting changes. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

They still have fixed the Edge lighting glitch. The glitter effect used to scroll around the edge. Now it's static and very dim.

i have that on my phone too! it's a home screen widget. you go to your home screen > hold down for a few secs > tap Widgets > tap Galaxy Buds2 or Galaxy Buds2 Pro Manager > tap Buds controller. you can stretch or shrink the widget to your desirable size :)

Yes! time by time i always discover functional features from samsung, that is why im the loyal galaxy note user since 2015! ahaha! One more cool feature is separate app sound! when you're connected to car Bluetooth then you still wanted to scroll down tiktok and instagram story, this is VERY helpful during long drive passenger.

I have a 23 Ultra that just received the AI update UI6.1. The Standby Display, where you have it on ambient clock, is not an option for the 23 Ultra. Is there something I'm missing to have it work? Do you need to have the clock widget on screen? When I go to the Screensaver, clock is not an option.

I am and have for a long time been an Apple guy. That said, I really like a lot of what I see on high end Androids these days. If I see a good way of having an Apple-like ecosystem, one that run on various Linux flavours, maybe BSDs, and maybe even MacOS; and if I see a good way of minimising google telemetry and surveillance, I would actually be happy to give the Android a proper try.
The new auto factory reset option is crazy! Free unlocked device after 20 wrong pin attempts how easy is that gonna be for thieves! Rather keep it off their not gonna crack your password but once the phone FDRs it resets the locks aswell and leaves the device to be used with another sim! Up to you for this one!
If im not mistaken it will ask for the previous Google account or it will not continue with the setup, just like icloud locked devices
