In this episode we are fly fishing for Cutthroat trout on a hot day in July. We use dry flies and streamers to catch and release several nice fish of surprising size for this small stream. A fantastic day in the outdoors of Montana. I hope you enjoy this episode.
Fly Fishing with Ladin's primary purpose is to share fly fishing techniques and places to fly fish in the Western United States. We are a dedicated fly fishing KZhead channel promoting catch and release fly fishing. Our motto is having fun catching and releasing fish. We want to share our passion with others. We are not professionals. We are passionate about fly fishing but we do not take ourselves to seriously. We show our mistakes, falling in, getting flies stuck in wrong places, loosing fish. The same things that all of us experience fly fishing. We have been fly fishing northwest waters for over forty years. But we are always learning new things that we like to pass along. We think our channel is a great place to get ideas for fly fishing vacations and weekend trips.
Thank you for taking the time to check out our channel and watch our videos. We hope you enjoy them and sure would 👏appreciate your support by subscribing to our channel. Every single one helps. • The best fishing is always worth a hike to get to!! I miss being able to do that and fish because I'm too crippled to hardly even walk anymore. That's 1 of the reasons why I love watching your guys show, cause I don't have to do the hiking, plus I always crack up laughing because every fisherman goes through what you guys go through, it's just more funnier to see others go through it too on video, but always catch huge & beautiful fish, weather it be cutthroat, rainbows, cutbows, or white fish, it's still fun catching them & enjoyable to watch you guys catch them too!!!

    • You should find someone with a drift boat if you have a hard time getting around on the river. Can't fish these small streams, but the larger rivers are a go. Plus, you got a better chance of catching a lunker on the bigger rivers.

  • Planning a trip out from the east coast in a couple weeks. Question, do you guys find carrying a backpack vs having it on your back is more effective? LMAO!

  • why does everyone bash White fish??? they're a great fish, And they are native!

    @tigersteamer@tigersteamer2 жыл бұрын
    • We agree but we just cannot help ourselves. They are native and a good indicator of a strong ecosystem. But they are usually just not what we are targeting.

    • Thanks for NOT publicizing the name of this stream. Another KZheadr names every little streaam he fishes, does nice camera work, but doesn't handle fish well, and tells where to park, exactly how far downstream to hike before fishing back up, etc. You guys rate higher for your conservation orientation, and doing a better job of netting, handling, and reviving before release. For those who want to know... do your own exploring. There's a lot of good water in the Clark Fork drainage to fish, and with a few hours of poking around on any stream you'll surely find your own little favorite stretch that you wouldn't want ruined by having it die the death of overpublicity. These KZhead videos last virtually forever - and the good or damage they can do is cumulative.

    • I know that stream. The big fish will come up out of the Clark Fork after the run-off, seeking colder water in the lower pools, some of which are hard to get to.
