My parents. I was watching a movie with them and someone mentioned climate change in the film and they both immediately started protesting, "Oh, I didn't know this was some kind of liberal conspiracy movie." And I was shocked because they are both intelligent, medical professionals. And to hear them talking about climate change as if it were just an illusion invented by Democrats to destroy America, I was just shocked and sickened. Also, I know my mom is never on the internet, but she still repeats Trump's tweets verbatim. She said there was no collusion and the Muller report declared him exonerated. I tried to show her the part of the report where it explicitly said that the report did not exonerate Donald Trump, but we got into a screaming match. So I recommended some books to her like the ones by Comey and McCabe, which are direct insights into Trump's illegal activities, but she refuses to listen to them. The terrible thing is that Trump is doing this all across America, tearing families apart.

The thing that buggs me about most of this is that they weren't scandals. When french president Macron wore a made-to-measure vest while adressing a protest I understood the reaction of the people . Hell, I can even see a few of the things that were criticized here not as scandals but as things someone with such power just shouldn't be doing because being human is not part of the deal of being the elected leader of the US BUT none of these were about his policies or ANYTHING else he really did as a political figure (visiting NY in a private jet for example for personal reasons is not something I'd like to see a president do not matter his party alligeance; because it's expensive and that's it) but all in all his opponents failed to bring the real issues of his presidency to the publics attention (none nearly big as Trumps though but still very much existent) and (imo) it just hurts the political debate when all the media does is talk about the person and not the president. Ridiculous really.
@@Arcaryon I don't think the private jet was really under his control, the security involved with the president is intense and even for a date night, I don't think they would have allowed him to travel in a different manner. I am sure if the option was available they might have taken a normal plane or drove to New York.

His scandals revolved around killing citizens that were against him in secret, especially the ones that knew about him or borrowing Trillions for war(nothing in comparison to Trump's golfing trips).
