  • The comments here are absolutely insane 😄 The Model 3 was never a track intended car compared to the Porsche and the Mini.. It has comfortable roadtrip seats and a soggy suspension to swallow speed bumps and it manages to fly through Nordschleif overtaking loads of cars, keeping up with a Porsche and going sideways with 4 doors and seats.. and you people are still sitting here bitching about battery degradation, range and soggy suspension. People love hating on the Tesla having absolutely no experience of it whatsoever. I'm not asking for you to love it, I'm suggesting for half of you dorks to stop hating on it and just see what a small California-based company achived in 10 years in a world with 60, 70, 100 year old car brands. Most of you live not more than 10-20 miles away from a Tesla Supercharging station and not more than about 10 years ago there where no Supercharging stalls outside of the US at all.. You guys don't need to love the Tesla. Salesfigures and delivery times does Tesla justice. But you need to stop hating, guys. You honestly look like fools.

It's great (but not perfect) on the road, but before you go on any tracks you need to do massive improvements on the suspensions, brakes and seats. The suspension gave me the impression of going through corners like it was a 2CV. As for the brake, in normal road driving you would never ever use them. Not kidding. It has much harder sport suspension, it sits 30mm lower, much more camber, solid rear arms, much higher rate sway bars, much more precise steering bushings, significantly larger and better cooling (~4 times) brakes, high temp pads and fluid, 20% wider and 40% taller tires, lighter 19 vs 20 inch forged rims, 4 points harness for the driver. It doesn't yet have aero upgrades - I'm waiting for UPP results of CFD and Pikes Peak test, but it's already night and day vs stock. If you're interested to compare - let me know, I will come. I believe that for the Ring regenerative braking can be dialed back with large brakes (plus you guys didn't switch off a/c), so it can be kept on full power the whole time.

Laguna Seca lap record for example a stock standard Tesla 3 performance is 1.5 seconds different to a GT3. The model S is significantly faster then the GT3. You up the brakes and suspension on the 3 and make a few tweaks they would be a match. But like I said only for 1 lap. After that the GT3 would be lapping the 3 while its battery cools or recharges
