Double dose of Dodge Charger! This one was a surprise to see. There will be a 2-door & 4-door Charger! Let me know how you feel about this new muscle car in the comments section!
Very pleasant surprise Dodge 😮. Very good so far 👌
@@chrisgelo1425I totally agree with you!
Please bring us the inline 6 version (I would like to compare performance with this electric version)
You are so conflicted. Muscle cars aren’t electric.
E-MUCSLE
On the bright side, not a lot of people will want to steal these
I will bet money that these will still get stolen as often, maybe even more bc it stands out
These will 100% be stolen more, newer cars just sell for more it's that simple 🤦
No one wants to steal your 2002 anime wrapped wrx
@@franktank9573 what are you on abt
@@willfischer5263What exactly stands out about this pos? The only thing that stands out is that the design team was lazy as shit
Sold both my SRTs. Ordered the Dark Horse and an aftermarket supercharger. I'm not against electric. But muscle is more than speed. It's the sound and experience. Y'all enjoy.
So true!💯
I just hate and cringe at people calling anything with more than 2 doors a muscle car. Also, any electric vehicle being called a muscle car is absolutely insane. 2 door and V8 are required for muscle car status.
Should have kept at least one of those SRTs! I'm never selling my 2010 Camaro SS or my 2015 Stingray Z-51! I see the writing on the wall...
Go shout that to Rimac Nevera owners when you're in their rear view mirror.

Glad you had the chance to be apart of history & sharing it with us.
Great review as always. Thank you for the good work. Always thorough with each review.
Ok ok I guess this model charger is going to have 12 different names with 100 different sticker options and drag it on until 2040😂
And every year there will be a "Last Call" edition.
Together it is 1200 different trims 🤣
Dodge isn’t gonna be around in 2040 at this rate.
It will make or break dodge or the muscle car “species.” We are at the end of muscle cars, its just a shell now besides the organ
Been like that for decades
Here lies Dodge 🪦1900-2023 RIP legends never die
Well I’d say 1914 because we aren’t talking about bicycles here, but I understand your point
i weap for the future.
You are aware Dodge didn’t offer a muscle car throughout the 80’s and 90’s, yet still broke sales records
@@RC_928what records? Lol Mustang is the top selling sports car every year, expedition top selling suv, and of course the f-150 top selling truck every single year
@@Drizake89He means the K-cars in the 80s
When I was a kid,my first Dodge Charger, like a lot of other kids from a certain generation, was the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard, and even knowing what I know now, I still have a great fondness for that hell-raisin' beast. Aside from the black Pontiac Trans-Am,that Hemi Orange Charger was my first automotive love 😍. Just the color of this new Charger on that new design alone ,so evocative of the car of my youth, is giving me all the feels.
This looks like a car out of cyberpunk 2077, these are hard as fuck and they finally made the interior look like it’s not 15 years old
This is so very true!
I prefer the old interior. Nothing worse than a lazy tab on dash design.
@@shmiggz I drive a Tesla so imma have to respectfully disagree here with you
Minimalism is the way
@@Kingcommaalex yeah, I guess it's nice looking compared to a Tesla's interior. They are pretty much bottom of the barrel for interior design.

Love your videos. You cover everything and point out the zonks and 90% of the time I agree with them
Interior is far better than the old one.
You think? Only took them 15 years to change it.
That was a low bar to top 😂😂
That interior in the old one came out in 2012!!! Lol
Who cares
@@SNPDemon I do, as a potential buyer and muscle car owner (Gen 6 Camaro 2SS). You spend 99% of the time with your car INside... When shopping bw Mustang/Camaro/Challenger I dismissed Dodge due to the trash interior and tech.

More EV junk.
There’s a V-6 option so stop crying
@@Gideon_84 i6, but yeah, they complain too quick
With V6 engine, we have better options than Dodge !! With EV engine, I prefer Lucid because it has better look and better performance!! The Dodge has destroyed its legacy by this step because its not unique anymore!!

Joe you do some of the best car videos awesome review 🎉
Love the looks, but no electric for me…
good, now im gonna gap ur a$$
You can gt an option of i6 turbo engine 🤷🏾♂️
I’m more interested in the inline twin turbo 6 version. Not sure I want to commit to electric but glad they kept the 4 door charger
Forget the EV version. I’m ready to see the inline 6 “6 pack” line up with a hellcat. I love the sound of the hemi, but I have a feeling the 6 pack going to be spanking the 7th generation mopars. The 2 door all wheel drive for sure.
Brother I love your Dodge reviews ! They’re always on point and more🔥
Thank you Jose for taking the time to say that!
Guarantee, they’re gonna come out with a gas version sometime down the road there’s no way that things going to sell
Twin turbo V6 "Hurricane" will be available in 25 also.
@@teambronski Great news, but what about the "no more petrol (gas)/electric only" spiel that Dodge have been pushing for several years now? Conveniently forgotten in the wake of the consumer backlash, perhaps.

Someone didn't watch the video
@@hughfhthey only ever said the Hemi was going away.
Am I the only one who likes how these look
I do too way better than the decade long design of the old ones
It’s growing on me. Not sure I love it but I don’t hate it
Not really
I love it. Way better than the one going out. It actually looks like a Charger now.
Yea the 4 door one
Steven Flood thanks for waking up 3am lml but serious we needed this well i did.
Steven is the best!
You make awesome reviews bud very detailed the quality of the video is awesome you can see the appearance of the car is Iike i were there seeing it in person.👍
Joe, it's good to see you and the other automotive journalist staying on top of things there in the heart of Detroit bringing this new Charger muscle car to us.
Still like the looks of the current wide body Scats a lot better and the 6.4 under the hood.
How would you take it to a car show? Pop the hood to see nothing lol or I guess you show off your electric motors lol 😂.
Whether it's 2 doors or 4, I dig the bold sharp lines reminiscing the old coke bottle design of the 60s Chargers. The color looks good as well as the wheels on this one. Joe thank you and Steven for bringing some Mopar goodness!
Wonder when the first hellcat 6.2 swap will happen lol
Charger is such a nice car but the only reason I never got one because is a sedan. Once a coupe is out this is something I can think about.
So after years of complaining they gave us a high powered awd but took the muscle motor ... thx for sharing
But we wanted the hellcat awd😅😅
Glad to see they still have the sedan Charger in case if people still want the sedan variant. I’m more of a coupe Charger fan than the sedan, but it’s really cool too.
Good seeing you on the plane to LAX Joe. Love your vids!
I will stay positive.... The wheels on the blue Charger are SICK!
You’re not being negative for not liking it. You’re being naive for telling yourself to “stay positive”
It seem like this will be the final generation of the Dodge Charger, and not only these will be made in sedans, but also we will see the return of the coupe for the final time.
Everyone needs to buy the Mustang to show there is still a market for V8s!
R.I.P to the V8s 😢
Two doors are great, they make the car lighter. But personally I enjoy driving four doors, theres just more space and you have the option of having your family or 4 friends in the car if needed. This car is beautiful.
Most cars like this, will be heavier with 2 doors. Because it's based off a 4-door, the coupes loses the B-Pillar and there will have to be added reinforcement to take side impact That is if Dodge cares about the Crash Test lol.
Knowing they are releasing a v6 inline engine makes me love this. Great to have both options
Thanks for doing both a two dr and four door review. But I didn't hear you specify if the 4 dr will be a hatchback or traditional trunk? Do you have that info?
Another great review Joe. Man, these look awesome. Its crazy how they captured the Daytona look while bringing the Charger into the future. Most of all, it still looks like a muscle car. Well done, Dodge.👏🏿
Crayola 64 box!🤣...you're the best Joe!
You gave a really good review on this.
Man the name electric and muscle car do not go together joe. We are gonna have to all zonk this one together!

It’s electric!

@@310chris18 So it's going to be happy?
@@EchoAccord happily gay
It was a masterful idea to put that front spoiler up. That way they could have an aerodynamic sloped front hidden as a traditional boxy Charger. The engineering displayed here is amazing. Let’s hope it’s reliable.
Stellantis/Dodge was smart to a) bring back the sedan and b) have an ICE option. Nice job.
If this car is half as good as it appears, people are gonna love it! I cannot wait to order one!
They killed it.
You mean killed dodge right? RIP Dodge, no one wants these
The amount of recalls this is going to have… Just wait
Once i saw the announcement of the new charger. I spent two days refreshing my youtube and notifications expecting the official review from Raiti's
Looks like Dodge killed it with this. Both the 2 and 4 doors look awesome.
The front air cutouts with the bumber / hood in person is not that great
I really like the designs. I wish they still offered the v8 options
Nah yall haters are tripping the new charger looks cool as hell. But i can definitely understand why ppl like the V8 better
The "looks" are fine it is the lack of rumble and real sound where the issue is
As a challenger scatpack owner…it might take some time for the electric part to grow on me(thankfully the hurricane is an option at least) but I really like the look. Great vid!
I currently have a '21 Scat Pack Widebody and I like this design better with the flared fenders. I will likely opt for a inline 6 powered version hybrid version in four door. I never want to be completely dependent on finding a charging station in the middle of nowhere, so EV alone is out.
SAD how all the cars gonna be EVS
I'm keeping my V8 Challenger till I die
@@fahd3228when gas cars are illegal what are u gonna do ? 🤣 let me guess break the law everytime huh lol I would too I would never choose a EV over a powerful American v8
Definitely buying a 4 door one
I’m sitting in my scat right now loving the V8 but I’m ready for the future that interior is worth it alone
I've driven a 2016 Challenger. I love the new style of both EVs. I'll be checking out the 4 door R/T when they're in production.
I'm just glad they're making models with the I6 hurricane engine! But sadly no word of a manual😢
I like the 4 door version. Would be cool to have a v8 version too or v6 or v4 too. Thank You Raiti Rides.
"to the door panels!" Never gets old. Awesome review brother..
Great video, great detail..i love the design,feartures... " if u make it fun they will come" Just dont gouge us!
Lovely Car, Lovely Color and Video... Good job Joe.
This will be my next car and that blue / green color shifting color is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love the 4 door but no electric for me.. I personally feel this year Toyota/Lexus year. Great content as always 🙏🙏
The fact that Dodge allowed Joe's assistance in promoting this car should tell you everything. They know (And we know) that these 6 cylinder cars, let alone the electric ones have not been well received by the public. They don't want another Hornet situation on their plate. Other than that, this is another great video by Joe 🥂
Whats the color on the second one?
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍 😂
We appreciate you and your great support man!
I love it all I like how it has the challenger look but the charger name even though it’s not gas and it’s not a v8 and allat it still looks lovely definitely gon get me one
Why didn’t you open the bottom when you were in the trunk what type of sound system and also are there 2.12 inch subwoofers in the truck like the Challenger
Is the wheelbase shorter with the 2 door?
It was a masterful idea to make the Charger have the option of 2 or 4 door. And a hatchback too? Amazing. I just hope it’s reliable, I have been burned by FCA or Stellantis too many times.
What type of sound system do these cars have and there are there 2 12in subwoofers in the truck
Joe Great Videos in the just a suggestion Future Interview the designers and pick there brains
I LOOKS neat. It's like they combined external design elements of the outgoing Charger and Challenger.
The badge on the wheel is a far cry from the old days. I had a 63 Dodge Custom 880 convertible that had that badge on the hubcaps in the form of spinners. They looked like knockoff spinners, but where attached to the hubcap.
The only thing that I can say about it is that I love the inside of it I can't lie about that its straight 🔥
I know im in the minority but im liking the 4 door muscle/sport cars. Hoping theres more to come 😅 leaning towards the cadillac ct4v blackwing but still lookiing for more options. Great review 💪🏼🔥
Your local CDJR dealership: Base model MSRP: $60,292😂😂
Pretty cool seeing it come in sedan form.
"Liftback" killed it for me. Screams "wife, kids, dog, unfolded stroller"...not "svelte sporty car for swingers". If you have to haul the latter, buy a Pacifica and leave us sporty people alone. (PS I have no need for a "lift back" - if I can't fit it into the back seat or trunk, I'll just have it deivered...)
I do like the integration of the wide fenders instead of the current wide body stick-on flares. I've never liked that!
Quick question where y’all charging this at Electricfy America?
Loving the design, just wished there was an entry level version with the 5.7 v8 hemi
Great upload! I actually like the exterior.. I’m not too fond of the dashboard tho.
I can mess with hybrid. I might buy this. Especially if it is 670 horse power. I like the modernized screens on the inside.
Getting rid of Hemi is like Ford axing the Coyote or GM axing the LS V8s. Good luck with that.
Well for design, both exterior and interior, it's very pretty! Observed that respect to the original is incorporated into the design but with a modern flair. Interior looks super slick with that lighting and the steering wheel. Wasn't able to tell completely but are the fonts for the speedo and tach like the original font from late 60's? It's a must. Last and most important...the power train. I know reducing carbon footprint is the buzz but, can you really have a muscle car w/o a big block V8? I'm trying to wrap my head around the idea of a hybrid muscle. I'm working on the concept in my mind but, it is tough to do when for 50 plus years it's been about the sound and the fell that a powerful V8 makes. I probably need a little more time on this before I decide where I sit on this one?
Love it! The color is awesome too!
They could have done something to make it more engaging. Simulated manual shifting, paddle shifters. Yeah it's gonna be fast, but i cant imagine it even being more fun than the one from the 70s.
So, it charges itself? Or does it come with a charger to charge the charger?
You need to Charge it.
Gear shifters!!! This might be it if I am to go electric in the future! Good job, Dodge!
Supercharged Slant Six is what it needs, I will buy it then!
Super Cool,The Diffusers And Skid Plate Would Be Nice In Stock Colors.
Sounds like, instead of two different cars for 2 door vs 4 doors. They're consolidating under the charger nomenclature and offering 2 dr or 4
Best looking electric car I've seen hands down...
needs a HEMI for me to consider it. Hope they update it soon!
The colors is nice. I'm glad they still have a gas vehicle option wouldn't own tho
