dear red.. I lost my boyfriend 3 years ago from a rare cancer.. and I will share how I was able to work through some of the grief.. I'm a huge animal lover I rather be around some animals over people..and I watched cute videos of animals just being themselves.. no human setting it up..and I laughed till I cried.. only difference is I was ok inside happy tears is excitement overflowing through your eyes ..lol I've lost many many loved ones since 1982.. .. and always watching silly animals is heartwarming.. I'm sorry for your loss. I can't give advice on how to grieve.. i think that is a personal emotion each person feels from others. but I can say laughter heals all hearts..may GOD COMFORT YOU AND GUIDE YOU AND MAY JESUS HELP YOU HEAL.. amen. 11/17/2023

Our family raised one squirrel that fell out of a tree a long time ago. They all get something soft to make a nest. They are friendly, trusting, gentle, and it was tolerant of our dog. One of my favorite fury friends

Yes, people who take care of animals are often referred to as crazy. I rescued a baby squirrel after tree trimmers accidently cut down their nest.. Now I am feeding several feral cats that were abandoned in my neighborhood. It started out that I fed them so they wouldn't go after the squirrels, but now I do it because I ❤ them. Yesterday I was shocked to see my "Little Girl" eating the cats food. The cats are well fed so they didn't even seem to care.

@@chrisberry9017 Yes, they do keep me busy, but I love every minute of it :) When the squirrels were just a few days old people would ask me how they were doing. I told them the little girl grabs the bottle and almost feeds herself. Since I started calling her Little Girl when she was just a tiny baby she recognized that as her name. .BTW Little girl is 4 years old now and she brings all her kids and great grand kids to my house! I uploaded some videos of her to my KZhead channel if you would like to see her:) .

THIS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!!! I had a squirrel for about 3 years that I named Peanut. He was missing his back foot and some little girl brought him to me almost frozen to death. He was only about two weeks old and I nursed him back to health and he was my best friend until he passed away. This is really special. ❤
Yep. I had "Sweetie." For four years. I hate that they don't live that long. She'd follow me around and greet me at my front door.

My cat would try to sneak up on him but Peanut would hang on to the side of his cage and when the cat looked up, Peanut would make his move and pee on the cats face🤣🤣 I was beside myself, just dying laughing🤣🤣🤣

I live on 17 acres with my animals and the squirrels here are so chunky because we feed them, when my dogs are outside they hop on my dogs backs and ride them around 😂 my poodle loves it the lab not so much we just adopted her from a very abusive home. But she sees Molly doing it and has started to allow it more and more ❤

It's do hard to leave wild life to their own defensive...I just moved from the country to town in a seniors home....and every one feeds the deer...their all so fat and a few this past season have broken their legs jumping fences with all that weight. But even I feed them...but just veg...where some people feed them pie,cakes meat bread....so I passed the word around...please only vegetables...we're killing these creatures...un-naturally. Back at my country home I gated the deer...had a heard of 30 come every nite and destroy 28 years of hours and money in my yard....and only because people down the road built a huge feed box gor them....to kill them in the fall. So much of our wildlife have to learn to live with us....but we still have to respect...their beautiful...but wild.
@@tracesmith4966 we only feed ours what they would naturally eat in the wild.....but there's a low income apt complex next door and they try to feed them candy and whatever else. I saw one of the squirrels with a slice of pizza the other day.....

That's easy to say, I know of several people who were abandoned by their parents. Those people turned out to be fantastic humans. Sometimes humans will turn to the only thing that makes them happy. That is usually an animal.
