  • Of all the maker KZheadrs I watch, I think you have the most methodical and, dare I say, quality approach to creating stuff. Both your design and execution are top tier, and I applaud you for your patience and knowledge every time you upload a video. Keep at it, sir, you're filling a niche in a wonderful way.

    • I merely wish to ask if you would make me one of your belt Sanders with a 36"x 6 in table with an additional roller 1" in diameter so that I can hollow grind some of my knifes? After seeing the great work you do I imagine you can come up with a way for the roller to push the belt out about 1/4" midway up the vertical part of the Sander. I can supply a motor, please give me price for this work. I live in Fresno CA. Thanks Steve

  • I found using doubler plates(and neodyumium magnets) with my adjustable tool rest makes it easier for angles and other hard to maneuver actions.. I also have an indent in the plate, so I can slide it around the wheels(small or 8"-10"). Then I just slide the plate to wherever i need it... Always love watching your builds...take it easy...

  • The things you call "Had to be done" is so incredebly satisfying to watch! Please don't ever stop filming them. Doesn't matter how small of an adjustments you think it is, for me (and I belive there is a few more sharing the opinion) this is the reason I use KZhead. Small projects, informative videos, very nice results. And for the record, I think this is a large improvement.

  • The "trial and error" methodology it's still the gold standard of industrial progress. Ideas can exist on paper but ultimately the only thing that a finished product can represent is usefulness. Which is the culmination of idea, design and execution.

Some "instructional" videos kind of gloss over important steps as if they expect you to know, but a lot of us are starting out with minimal knowledge of how to make these things so your clear instructions are great!

  • Your work is so exceptional that the only thing it is missing is a little automotive BONDO to clean up welds that don't as planned. A guy did a video of brazing some cast iron mounts and did the BONDO filling before paint and you couldn't see where he had worked on it. Pretty slick techinque. I don't do it because I couldn't afford as much as I would need to make my work look acceptable !!

I hope you don’t mind that I am planning on incorporating your adjustable table design into my own. I have seen many ways to do it, but none as good as yours.
