I cannot thank you enough for this. Am at a challenging point in my life (who isn’t, I guess) and this beautiful series is going to help me navigate. Bless you all.
Thank you!! You’ll navigate it without a problem - I’m glad the content could help!
Lifting you up . . .
You and me both, sister!
Love seeing aviation inspire and touch other peoples lives :)
I did my primary training out of Teterboro back in the '90s, flying the Hudson VFR corridor all the time. When you fly it all the time, you start to take it for granted. It's one of the greatest VFR flights you can do.
Very true I fly down from Trenton to the corridor like every weekend or other weekend, amazing for people seeing it the first time, but flying all the time you take it for granted.
"What happens if you throw a banana peel out the window?" ATC gives you number to call, advise when ready to copy.
But what if I can't copy cause I'm flying?
@@bugsbunny2198 Then you fly into the bravo airspace without clearance and it'll all work out
@@bugsbunny2198 Then you advise them you are " Flying" and believe me they can wait until you land to give the number 😆 Either way it's still coming 🤷
Actually, according to 14 CFR 91.15, it is completely legal as long as proper precautions are taken to avoid injury to persons and property
lol
Hey that’s my solo t-shirt at KCPC 😝 small world
This almost felt like a movie. It had a little bit of everything... I loved every second of it.
When restrictions ease, and when it's warmer, you should do a coast to coast series in Canada. You'd love it.
I hope to do it within the next 5 yrs!
Some people get emotional during the love scenes in RomComs, for me it was the Hudson River Corridor scenes in this KZhead from Aviation 101 Films! I haven't flown the "corridor" in over 20 years. I used to fly it regularly in the right seat of my dear friend's Cherokee when I was responsible for the radios so he could concentrate on flying. Of course, I would regularly call out "Cherokee Northbound Abeam the Twin Towers," which is an image I will never forget nor ever see again. Thank you Josh for these wonderful films. As a new member of the CC, I look forward to more content, live hangouts, and learning more about Flying from you.
It’s finally here! Here’s to an amazing series!
hey he's here, great videos
Been looking forward to this for a while. Glad it's finally here
What I love from Josh's series is not only the cool aviation stuff but also the stories it told along the way. Alaska series was a blast and this one should be a treat!
I can remember, 5 years ago I started watching you after I started getting interested in flying. Now, in a month I’m going to start training for my ppl.
That’s really awesome! Good luck with everything!
@@billye1789 thanks mate!
@@harrytibbs6313 absolutely! Can’t wait to hear all about your progress!
@@billye1789 Wow, well I’ll keep you updated !
Good luck. I will do that sometime :)
My Grandpa took his 1968 piper tri-pacer down the Hudson in 1998. So cool. I’m a dispatcher for SWA now and sure miss flying. Can’t wait to get current again when time and money allows. Thanks for this video truly amazing!
I use to fly that route 25 years ago when I lived in Brooklyn. I didn't realize how much freedom we had flying in NY at that time. Love your videos.
Josh, I just finished watching your breathtaking coast-to-coast I series yesterday and now you drop this absolute gold sequel...really looking forward to the rest of the trip. I know you won't disappoint. You craft a fantastic story and do a great job of including many of the little details that make me feel like I'm along for the ride. The camera work and editing must be so labor intensive but you produce a beautiful thing that literally changes lives by inspiring us. Keep up the great work.
Simply stunning, can't wait for the rest of this series.
man. i miss this. i'm an airline guy and not doing much flying this year. your channel keeps the avgas pumping through my veins, thanks man! appreciate the time and dedication!
Another magnificently beautiful piece of cinematography, as always. Thank you for the amazing content! You make people Like me pursue aviation father than a dream.
Josh you are one of the few people who know how to tastefully combine aviation with filmography. Keep up the good work!
The production quality never ceases to amaze. I’ve also finally distilled the message in everything Josh is making : Do it now. Don’t wait. Whatever that trip is, whatever adventure you’ve been pondering, GO. Love it. Clear prop.
Thoughts on motion sickness. Closing eyes and moving your head off axis is not helpful. Motion sickness is the result of visual and inner ear not matching up. Keeping eyes on the horizon and head aligned with the plane (and close to the CoG if possible) will reduce those discrepancies.
An accurate saying for sea sickness; “The feeling like you’re going to die combined with the terror that you probably won’t”. I guess similar could be applied to air sickness.
@@BlueLineSpeed I wouldn't imagine it is fun!
Thanks Guys! What an awesome flight and view for this Texan.
From the first opening moments of the Intro, my thoughts were, Wow how Incredibly Cinematic! I have been a long time fan of yours, from nearly the beginning. I have seen your editing skills just continue to grow. You have always been a great story teller. It's wonderful to see how well you capture the moments. You were one of the people who inspired me to start rolling cameras on my flights. As a fellow aviator, and budding creator I know how difficult it is to to manage the flying, capturing and then produce what all these people see. My hat is off to you Sir. Keep up the great work and someday I hope to meet you in person.
Amazing! I can't wait to see the rest of this series. You're an inspiration!
Love it! I'm doing my ground school now (Cessna KingSchools) and every time I loose a little bit of momentum, it's videos like this that keep me moving forward to get my PPL. Great flying guys. Thanks for sharing
It's a Hudson River kind of week! I recently posted a video of my Mooney flying the Skyline Route (just above the VFR Exclusion Zone). Thanks for sharing your perspective.
Love the mood that’s made at the beginning of a new mini series
Josh, your photography and editing just get better and better. Can’t wait for the rest of the segments of this trip...
Yep the series is finally here. Thank you. Amazing videos

Outstanding. The music was perfect for this type flight. Enjoyed it all.
LOVE these adventure videos Josh. Look forward to part 2.
So happy to see you were able to enjoy the Oregon Coast.. one of my favorite places!! also the many snowy mountains are delightful from the air or with boots on the ground. Good to see ya out there enjoying life!!
I am here in Westchester, ready to get back to my IFR training. One wish I have is to take family and friends to NYC scenic trip. You have the perfect video to get anyone excited to go. This is what flying is all about. That view, that experience.... WOW! I just saved this video as one of my favorites. Also, I am so jealous that you are flying around the country! I want to go too!!!!! Can't wait for the next videos. Thank you so much for sharing.
Amazing! Very well filmed, and put together. Looking forward to watching the rest of this series. Well done.
Awesome film as always. I am super excited for this series. The first coast to coast is one of my favorites.
Epic filmmaking and story-telling. Thank you. Loved the music on this one a lot.
What I like from your channel besides the aviation component is the documentary looking with a good phography and sound. All perfectly edited to be an epic film. Looking forward to the next episodes.
Can’t wait for this series! Great work as always.
Absolutely amazing video as always!
“If we have an engine issue, the only safe place to put it down is in the Hudson.” Just ask Sully.
You could try teterboro. Do you wanna try teterboro?

Flew the Hudson south in the mid-90s out of MMU. Was at night and passing the WTC was incredible. Thanks for sharing!
Josh! I was at work when I started this video and after the first 30 seconds decided I needed to wait till I got home to watch it on the big screen in the living room. Glad I did! What an AMAZING start to this series I can't wait for the rest!

I love following these cross country stories. You set the bar with your Alaska series with Chris, so I am anxious to see if you have a stand out moment like “cleeeeear” !!!😂🤣😂 I also hang on to any information that would be helpful for my own cross country trips in the future. Thank you for putting out the quality videos you are known for and taking us along on your journeys! Safe travels sir!

Great video, great cinematography as usual Josh. Thanks!
It's amazing where personal aviation can take you. So many things you may have never seen or experienced without it! People dont know what they are missing, that is for sure! God bless!
Never a dull video here man! Great job guys!
This is your best video so far, Josh. Very well edited, the music is on point, and super interesting. Well done!
Awesome trip! thanks for taking us along.

Renauldo has become a great pilot since the first time I saw him. Great trip. I am sure you had a wonderful time.
Loved this one. Your videos just keep getting better and better Josh
So glad you two are doing another cross country series. Your previous one was some of the best aviation content I’ve ever seen. Also, being in NJ, not too far from Tom’s River, you flew right over me!
Always makes me happy to see Aviation101 as uploaded.
Phew, what a flight. Can't wait for the clips to follow. Thanks Josh!
Love this! Live in the area so seeing it from above was beautiful...
Intro gave me goosebumps! Can’t wait for the rest of the videos.
I just finished your coast to coast the southern route a couple days ago. Im so excited for this!
Fantastic production Josh...encouraging me to venture out of my home airspace and see the wonderful sights.
So cool! One more trip to add to my bucket list. Especially the Hudson corridor. 🛩

Been watching your vids for years it’s pretty cool to see you flying around in my neck of the woods!!!
Woav, it was a great footage and story ! Keep up this friend. It's really nice to watch your adventures. You're absolutaley living the aviation as a life style. I admire !
I love these videos, and am glad you share them with us. I feel like im flying with you.
Look forward to the rest of the series. Off to a great start and wish I could give it more likes. Adding the Hudson corridor to my bucket list!
Josh you two have already got me planning and revamping my own coast to coast from last time. Now you are making me think more of crossing the Mason Dixon line
About to finish my lunch break when I watch the intro for this video/series and I am so excited to see that you guys have done another cross country flight. I can wait to watch it.
I loved this video, I've halted my Private Pilot journey due to COVID and your channel has helped me keep my interest in flying and not give up. Thank you so much for providing these fantastic videos to inspire many future aviators!
This is going to be a great adventure! I can't wait to see the rest.
Great job!! Your skills at videography are getting better every time! The opening was phenomenal!
Wow what an epic video. Loved flying down the Hudson and the sunset was perfect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Boy this brings back memories. Already over a year ago my friend from Germany and I, (age 19 and 17), flew a C172L to NYC, Boston, New Hampshire, across to the finger lakes, and down back to Ohio via lake Erie. So much fun. Now watching this and you guys doing it with IFR rules, I can't wait till this spring when I'll start my IFR training at Kent State University and make another trip with Luca this next summer. Thanks for the great content as always!
Great job and awesome content here, cant wait for next upload.
Nice flight! Thanks for sharing.
I just finished Coast to Coast 1, now there is another series?! Oh boy. Thanks Josh!
pretty cool video. congrats. looking forward to part 2
Absolutely beautiful cinematography. Planning my trip to Sedona and the Grand canyon because of your last series.
Its like a TV show. Your content is amazing keep it up!
The Red Inn for the win! Josh this is awesome seeing you fly in my backyard! I agree, flying the Manhatten corridor with the buildings taller than you is very surreal, but something that has to be experienced by everyone at least once in their life. I'm looking forward to your next episode with Mount Washington. I was just there a few weeks ago and drove to the top. It happened to be the same day they received their first snowfall, and halfway through our descent, they shut the road down and stop all accending traffic for the day.
Awsome video and can't wait for pt 2!
