  • I am a Canadian considering flying the Hudson SFRA. I know it's called Class B EXCLUSION but is it still Class B? Do i need ADS-B or ADAPT authorization? Thanks, and great video by the way!

    • You would probably need mode C and ADSB as you would be in the 30 mile mode C, ADSB vail. but you can call to get permission to be in the vail without them , as some old aircraft don’t have electrical systems. The exclusion zone over the river is not in the class B so other then CTAF position reports you don’t need to talk to anyone. I don’t know what ADAPT is but have never heard of a need for it. There are a couple of TFRs that can block the route on occasion, like when the Yankees ballgame is going on.
