  • I was like 16 or 17 when Hendo knocked Bisping out, I watched it with my older brother and our friends at the gym, and seeing Bisping basically struggling to breathe that made go "damn, these dudes legitimately put their actual lives on the line when they fight" and when I mentioned it to the guys, they all had a laugh, but it legit changed my perspective of the sport, from training to even just watching as a fan, real eye opener

    • That flying elbow was very dangerous. One day a man will get his neck broken by a guy and the ufc will start to be banned all over the country. If they don’t clean that up. That will happen. Allowing fighters to jump up and smash the face of a knocked out fighter is going to ruin the ufc. Only takes one wrong blow and it’s a wrap.

    • It was a massive shock at the time because Rashad was not known for having powerful hands and was more known for being a grinding wrestler. Stylistically it seemed like a favorable match-up for Chuck to get back to the title, but Rashad had secretly changed his fighting style over the past year so when Rashad nailed Chuck with that disgustingly powerful right hand everyone's jaw was on the floor, least of all Chuck's.

    • Chuck should have gotten the memo and retired after the Rashad KO loss. You never comeback the same after such a bad KO loss. Unfortunately it would take two heartbreaking knockout losses later where he got finished by punches he would have eaten in his prime to hang them up.
