@@TheTeodorsoldierabvb oh lol, just saw that😂
unneeded brutal GnP, where was the ref
That last shot from the second clip was probably the lightest ground and pound ive ever seen but respect for the guy that he saw his opponent was clearly unconscious and that he controlled his power
I think that hand mightve been broken, look at how he holds it while standing
@@JacViramuerte Yeah it was so messed up I think I remember seeing a nasty x ray or photo of it years back right after this happened.
That could have been a Dan Henderson type power bomb. Big respect to him
Last shot he was out of power .
@@Rocco69Siffredi Yes but you don't need very much power to fall into someone and spike their head into the canvas
That Leon finish over usman was crazy. That was some of the best cornering over all time.
after watching that back, I think one of the under rated parts is being able to see the reaction from Usmans corner.
Yair’s finish of Zombie still stuns me to this day because Yair was 1 second away from losing that fight on the cards before he KO’d him with that upward elbow. It was crazy.
If it happened in a movie I wouldn’t believe it for a second
Greatest KO in UFC history given all the circumstances. Cannot beat it.
Zombies is a complete idiot for that.
@@alessandroscuderi7300 craziest ko I’ve ever seen, hands down…never seen anything like it

Should be listed as KO - PunchES (!)
Duffee wasn't the same since that hammerfist. it shaved about 2 decades of his lifespan, so sad to see :"
Jon Anik’s ‘NO WAAAAAAAY’ to Leon’s headkick is so iconic
“AND NEWWW”
Got to say fantastic editing man, I've never seen such a convincing deepfake of Chael losing a fight, almost thought it was real for a moment
😂
It’s funny because Chael has “NEVER” lost a fight 😂
Mike Russow's follow-up shots were frightening. I'd hate to be on the end of that hammer fist.
Lmao
I will never forget his contribution to mma. Fucking gold.
lol I looked for this comment
It was a super necessary shot. Russow showed no remorse
I still have PTSD from seeing Russow land those brutal hammer fists.... Absolutely fucking brutal
Man, that clip of Elkins after the Bektic fight is iconic! Just raw emotion afterwards!
Yeah I absolutely loved that comeback. I never write Elkins off in a fight after that.
Having the will to stay in the game no matter how much it sucks, and to persevere and come out on top is something every human can relate to not just in fighting but in life. Its why we all love the Rocky movies, why we all love a great comeback story. We can all put ourselves in there.
Rogan getting pumped for Tim Boetschs comeback gets me pumped man haha

Tim Boetsch' clinch uppercuts on Okami are still my favorite clinch shots of all time. Just a crazy angle, so much torque in Tim's punch, that twist in his core just driving that fist harder and harder as it has a country mile of swinging arc to gain momentum. 'BAM. BAM. BAM.' It's just really fucking cool. MMA is really cool.
Yeah his and the guy that blasted frank Mir in the clinch are my favorites
the uppcercut that knocks him down was beautiful, sort of hooked round & caught him side on
The technique of those uppercuts were absolute genius
i never heard joe rogan sound so shocked lmao
Elkins finishing Bektic is possibly my favorite finish of all time. Him letting out that roar as his face is completely destroyed gives me chills every time.
Can't believe you showed the hammerfist of death uncensored
Leon's win is my favorite man. I still get chills and tears hearing Dave Lovell yell at him and then seeing that clean head-kick.
That moment, the speech after, then the call with his mum...shit made grown men cry
@@NinjaDildoShow if you've had to watch your mum struggle to raise you alone it's easy to imagine the joy of that call, he was happy about telling his mum he'd done it and she'd never have to worry about anything again cause they're sorted. Can't imagine what typa person finds that cringe.
@@seldom_bucket this guy probably refers to himself as an "alpha" that's the type of person
@@seldom_bucket yeah, well my mom abandoned me for some dick that was cheating on his wife with her, so him calling his mom reminds me of the one who gave me away.
I literally just cried bro
Leons corner is the reason he got the win, if he had some yes men on his corner telling him he’s good he would have just waited for the fight to end, best cornering Ive seen in my life
Tbh I don't think the corner played much of a factor since it's not like Leon stood up lazer focused & running Usman down. The kick was pure muscle memory from countless hours in the gym so ya coaches played big role there but the 5th rd pep talk didn't seem to have much effect (imo that is lol)
The corner didn't throw that kick. Sorry. Thats all Leon.
Leon winning the belt will always put a smile on my face.
Absolutely vicious ground and boop from Russow there at 0:52
That hit makes the Ngannou hammer fist on Stipe/Overeem like a joke!
I think Yair's KO on Zombie is the craziest (non accidental) KO ive ever seen but imo Edwards KO on Usman is the GREATEST KO in UFC history. The circumstances and pressure of that moment mixed with the incredibly perfect technique displayed in that one is just legendary.
It's the way he'd been setting it up for well over a round and nobody but him knew it, either that or he'd seen how Kamaru was reacting to that straight and adapted, either way super impressive
The Yair elbow was accidental. I don't care if Yair believes he did it on purpose
@@wsemenske no it wasn't.... You people crack me up... He literally landed the same shot in other fights, he threw it on purpose and it landed AKA not an accident genius
@@wsemenske youre just jealous cause you suck at fighting
Don't forget the altitude!
Edwards corner “pull that shit out of the fire!” Quote is so unbelievably GOATed, easily the most iconic and emotional set of events in the history of the UFC, literally like something out of a movie, a Rocky movie ;)
Him shaking as he's giving him water just shows the unbelievable passion he has for that moment. Goosebumps every time
DONT LET EM BOOLY YA SON
Leon heard the "That is not the cloth from which he is cut" and took it personally

As much as I wanted Jon to beat Gane and was ridiculously impressed by his performance, when I was watching at 6AM UK time with a bunch of friends who aren't into MMA who were ultimately disappointed by how quickly and uneventfully the fight ended I did wish for moments like this
I get that Curtis Blaydes isn't a draw. But that fight would have been far more competitive than what happened with Jones and Gane.
@@KhamzatErceg it's Blaydes' own fault, diving head first into derrick lewis with no takedown set up, heavyweight is just a garbage division with few technical fighters.
@@KhamzatErceg Honestly him and Spivak are probably the only ones with the wrestling to make it outta the first round or two, Stipe might too but he’s 41 and deep in his career so idk about him.
Why was it so important for you that jon won? Do you just live vicariously through other people's success?
@@planthub9252 maybe he just likes the fighter and wanted him to win? Stop hating for no reason
That Miesha win was magic. I was proper routing for her on the night, after 3 bad defeats to Ronda for the title, to have the grit to come back from a 3 round deficit a snatch that choke against the girl that decapitated Ronda in her last fight basically justified her career. Top quality fight 👌🏽
A hail mary takedown for a hail mary finish only to be absolutely bodied by Nunes in the following fight, no, it wasn't a fight, it was a slaughter, the lioness ate well that night

Wow. That elbow by Yair was desperate, but absolutely perfectly landed. Unbelievable.
Such devastating ground and pound by Mike Russo. 😢 reminds me of how hard Dan Henderson hit Bisping. Brutal.
I still legitimately think the final shot derrick landed was the last power punch he had, 100% if Volkov just backed up 1 step Lewis was probably done, thank goodness he didn’t though, what a comeback that was to see live, I never have screamed louder.
Idk, that Ground and Pound afterwards begs to differ.
Derek is trash af LMAO
I don't hate Lewis. But guys like him in top 5 is a disgrace to the division.

that last second yair elbow is still probably the most creative thing i’ve seen in mma
That absolutely criminal hammerfist by Russow on Duffee's lifeless body was just unbelievable. 🤣

Great video. Nothing in MMA is quite as exciting as a fighter (especially the underdog) turning the tides and getting an unexpected finish.
That Leon Edwards corner moment and KO gives me straight chills everytime I watch it. What a legend
That last punch on the second clip was almost sensual.
These are my favorite moments of MMA!!! It feels like it's straight from an anime
Vicious ground and pound 0:52
I get goosebumps every time I hear leons corner and then see the ko with 58 seconds left
That little boop on the snoot is hilarious 😆
Mike russels last punch "you ok bro" 😂😂😂 1:17
Something about that last minute or so in the 5th round that just brings the killer instinct out in fighters.
We must put all on the line in the Last minute to Kill
Paul Craig snapping up that triangle and Ankalaev tapping with three seconds to go is just incredible 🤣
I still got goosebumps from Leon's and Yair's finishes to this day.
Unbelievable Craig tapped Ankalaev faster than Leon KOing Usman with a kick to the head, even though Craig was already half way to the Shadow Realm, from the bottom, with hammers raining down on his face, by Ankalaev. And he tapped him between the 10th and 9th seconds, right after the 10 second warning bell, too!
tony ferguson laughing rn
Holly Holm started shadow boxing in the shadow realm 💀
That Tim Boetsch comeback was insane. I'll never forget that. This is a great compilation all around.
I love the little extra love tap on the second fight lol. Alot of respect there. Wanted to make is visually clear that he was done but didnt want to hurt the guy more than he did already.
yep, as someone who watched it when it happened he got a lot of respect for that along with the jokey memes
Tate getting that sub gave me chills I was never expecting that at the time also that Volkov vs Lewis fight was just pure skill vs brute power
Leons coach saying pull outta the fire will be shown for many many years, amazing.
Leons corner man loves him so much you can tell how he speaks with him , no blood lost no love lost just tough love
I think the craziest shit abt the yair KO was that Korean zombie fell for yairs trick. If you pay attention he made TKZ let his guard down with the playful fist bump/ glove touch. As if to say “a few more seconds huh? Let’s put it all on the line” he shrugs at Tkz and you can see Tkz shrug back and think “well alright fuck it 10 seconds🤷🏽♂️” and he storms yair and gets caught with the elbow.
That Tim Boetsch comeback will be forever underrated imo, had okami up 20-16 going into the third
that was one of the most fired up reactions from joe, shows how big of a comeback it was
Is it really underrated if it routinely makes it into "best comebacks" lists?

It was nice seeing Tate being able to hold that belt. Crazy thing is Holm didn't even have to take that fight, she just wanted to stay busy. Crazy how things work out.
1:08 probably the most devastating follow-up punch of all time!!

1:07 and the most gentle hammerfist lol
Paul Craig's literal last-second submission win is a personal favourite, with him being a hometown boy and all.
"AND IT IS AAAAAAALLLLLL OVERRR!!!" Greatest quote in sports!
6:53 the capabilities of AI nowadays are incredible, to create such fiction but make it look so realistic. Ridiculous though, would never happen.
I’m so glad i saw almost all of these live streaming. I’m from The Netherlands, so most main cards start around 4Am, most main events after 6 in the morning. Seeing compilations like this make me realize…it was all all worth it!!!! Still can’t believe the Silva comeback!
Those clinch uppercuts by Tim Boestch were the craziest uppercuts I’ve ever seen. The angle he took on those to wrap around the clinch and hit on the button repeatedly hasn’t been replicated by another fighter that I’ve seen. That was an incredible comeback to witness. Man I love this sport.
Good video! I appreciate the explanation of what was happening in each fight.
One of the best montages out there, huge fan btw, love what you’re doing!
This is the most hype video I could've watched this year lol, thanks ITP MMA!
Seriously, the best part of the video is Leon's corner advice.
Paul Felder: "oh my gyyyyaaad, oh my gyyyyaaad" 😂🤣. Legend.
Idk if you have video of it but the shot of Roger Huerta before the ref's "you ready" is one of the most determined looks I've ever seen a fighter give. I saw that fight live on TV and not once since then but that look stands out in my head
Leon's coaches are the best example I've ever seen of what I think every coach should be like going into a final round of a fight you're losing. Some coaches such as Pat Barry really can fuck up their fighters going into a last round thinking they're winning. Gives me goosebumps everytime
I’ve seen that Yair highlight many times but didn’t watch the fight live and didn’t realize he was losing. Incredible last second KO
Elkins v Bektic was my baptism into loving MMA. I haven't missed a weekend since.
Having one of Tim Boetch’s retirement fight gloves signed in my bookshelf is probably my favorite memorabilia of any kind I own.
Tim was a good fighter
Outstanding video! Well done! Thank you!
Everytime I listen to Leon's coach and watch that KO gives me goosebumps!
Yair's elbow was sooo *nasty*
"Just gotta be aggressive, Tim." "Aight, bet."
that Yair elbow is the greatest KO of all time in my eyes, the way he baited KZ into attacking just to pull out the most unorthodox strike imaginable with 2 seconds left on the clock.
The last punch from the second clip got me laughing

that jiri finishing glover clip gives me goosebumps...
Sick that you included the Roger Huerta one. Always liked that dude.
Boetsch v Okami still one of my favs. Boetsch knew he was losing and went all out for the victory instead of trying to lose gracefully. Too few fighters are willing to do that
Joe Rogan was so happy for Tim to come back amazing guts by Tim to come back and win

Im so happy i watched that leon fight live, honestly movie worthy
Always a good day when ITP drops some love on us
I always like when the referee carefully hugs the fighter that left his heart out in the octagon but had just been KO’ed. It’s like: “You’ve done enough fighting, now I’ll take care of you, you did good, bro”.
i get goosebumps every time i see that leon edwards knockout
