That Mike Perry windmill followed by the camera panning to an unconscious Elenburger is goated
Ya no doubt. That short bow was nasty
yeah cheeseburger was out cold
Mike Perry is goated period
Mike Perry is the greatest African American fighter of all time no 🧢
@@sdominik3945 LMAOOOO you’re a real one for knowing that video
Goldberg asking if a brutally unconscious tra telligman got saved by the bell is fucking hilarious
I miss Goldie--He was corn to the core.
One of a kind man lol, I think Stevie wonder would’ve known that man was unconscious
@@locomike102 I used to, but looking back he really had no idea what he was talking about lmao

I wasn't aware that idiot had any good calls.
Aniks greatest moment and possibly the greatest moment in the history of television. Is as follows "both these men are currently in custody battles for their children" wow...absolutely breathtaking
Rashad's mom called him after the fight and yelled at him for punching Salmon a second time "YOU KNEW THAT MAN WAS UNCONSCIOUS YOU DIDN'T NEED TO HIT HIM AGAIN" that's honestly kind of adorable
Momma was right as usual of course
Only if Dan Henderson's mom would have told his son the same thing!!!!

Much respect for the athletes that give a slight pause that allows the referee time to call it when they clearly know their opponent is lifeless.
All early stoppages, you casual. All of them were clearly pulling corpse-guard smh

The scariest part about a lot of these knockouts is how hard the back of their heads hit the canvas after they were unconscious.
That's what really causes the dangerous instances yes exactly, hate to see that, convulsions often occur from a back of the head strike.
those are all deaths if it was concrete. thats why street fights are retarded. if u lose, u can die, if u win, u just ruined the rest of ur life potentially. its never worth it unless absolutely not avoidable.
the follow up shots are pretty awful as well
Yup always makes me think about how brutal a street fight could be. Hitting the back of your head that hard on concrete has to be almost certain death or permanent brain damage...
@@nickbuendo I hit my head from being knocked out and got a contusion on the brain but I healed up after that but if it was little worse I could have died or got brain damage. Don't fight a 10+ experienced mma fighter that's black in the middle of the night outside with no lights.
Those Gary Goodridge elbows will be something I’ll never forget. Brutal.
For real. That guy has to have serious brain damage after that
Exactly, martial arts had never been pretty but ouch. He literally folded him
Yoel's elbows to the kidney make me cringe even more. Both are sick though.
@@AliSubhi-xs4rn oh yeah I forgot about those. Had to go back and watch that. Sheesh. They were nasty.
I'll never forget the commentator saying Herrera is a very good grappler here immediately gets his head crushed
3:53 “Was he saved by the bell or is it over?” Ffs Goldie he’s dead 🤦♂️
dude the noise it makes never fails to shock me head kicks or just horrifying.
Hahaha
🤣🤣🤣

God I miss the Goldberg/Rogan days. Goldie would say some off the wall shit, Rogan would call him out, and we'd all have a moment of uncomfortable awkwardness after. Dems was da days
rakic ko over manuwa was insane, so much momentum into that kick he literally bounced off the canvas
Manuwas family and kids watched that. Jimi clearly didnt get over it and sucker punched rakic from the back on the last ufc london.
@@bljet4388 if you look into the story. It was more about rakic talking crap, than manuwa being mad at the loss. Still wack he sucker punched him, but he only sucker punched rakic and not any of his other losses.
@@Michael-lt2yi tbh nobody knocked him out quite like that either
@@bljet4388 while it’s never been as bad as that. He has plenty of ko losses on his record. I think if he was going out and punching everyone he got koed by then we could talk ab him being a bad dude not getting over the past. But rakic was the only one still talking trash after the fight.
Rakic turned Manuwa into an NFL goalpost 😂🤣
“do you want to take a chance and risk getTING KNOCKED OUT” that’s my favorite joe rogan moment
Aljo definitely ain't acting with that knee from Marlon 💀
Aljamain hit the dab after that knee.
It's crazy how he timed that knee after that first td attempt. Shit was a split second of awesome.
He's a fake champion

Trained at his gym ultimate mma with some great people
@@risenfromyoutubesashesagai6302 unfortunately true.
I always felt like Halls killer instinct left him when he realized he could actually kill someone by accident. That realization must have been hard mentally
I genuinely believe that's why he's been so gun shy for soo long His technique is sooo phenomenal, and the outcome so destructive. He doesn't wanna hurt people, just compete
It's actually what made him get out of MMA in the first place :/
Brutal talent but with a pure conscience
He is a good man. Some of these guys are savages (Not a compliment)
He cried because he TKOd Silva. When I saw that I knew Hall didnt like hurting people all that much
2:07 Tank mocking his unconscious opponent's convulsive movements is just cold. Even John had to wrap his arm around Tank's neck to pull him off
Its disrespectful but also low-key hilarious 😂
He got destroyed by young Vitor Belfort, karma is a bitch
Tank Abbott was a joke.
@@trystantracesaltiness is that?
@@Messup7654 No, it's the truth. He's one of those guys that's been in more street-fights than he can count but has no real skills. All that takes is to be a shithead with a bad attitude and big ego. Visit some of your local trashier bars and you will meet many tank abbots. Dude is 10-W and 15-L. He's definitely a character and probably helped make the early UFC entertaining, but he's not a good martial artist or someone you'd want to model your own skills after. So yeah. Kind of a joke. Hate to be mean but it's true. Not being a "hater" or "salty" or whatever dumb term the kids are using this week.
Tht Goodridge Ko is probably the scariest Ko of all time
I think the kick from Uriah Hall is the worst, tho
Cyborg Santos anyone?
Lewis KO on Blaydes was scary AF too
So many elbows after he went out
That was brutal
I love Goldberg’s perfectly timed BAM when Rashad cleaned Salmon’s clock with that kick
Uriah Halls knockout of Adam Cella is still one the craziest KO’s I’ve ever seen. The impact of Adam hitting the floor is so loud
Early stoppage he was trying to pull corpse-guard and fight off his back
I'm pretty sure Hall got ptsd from looking at the guys he broke
@@persecuted. lol
Big props to those fighters who got self-control & avoid unnecessary execution when the opponent already dead. And the refs too, who can sense any danger quickly & stop the fight right on time. Could save a life or a career.
And then there's the refs who wanna see someone die

The Axe Murder. One of the best nicknames one can have.
Prime Wanderlei was a bad bad man
Yes, his manhandling of Jardine here is indicative of such a fight name. Here's the time stamp 6:22 where he just beats the snit out of Keith. It's like a bad, lopsided playground fight 😬. Imagine what that's like to be on the receiving end in front of the world?! Lmao!! Warriors to ANYONE who steps into the octagon or ring... instant respect!!!!
And the guy is one of the nicest and real guy in the business. So nice with the fans also, so chill, it's like Dct Jekyll and Mst Hide ❤
Tim Sylvia's headkick knockout is underrated as hell. The sound of it was like a hard punch in the Apex with a CROWD TOO! Killer of a man
I still remember him losing a match because he had no idea that his arm was visibly broken and he looked so confused and pissed as to why the ref was calling the match. Dude's insane.
People forget how dominant Rashad was those first 20 fights or so of his career.
Darren Till knockout still scares the shit out of me. The recoil on that bounce off the canvas.
That Uriah Hall KO of Adam Cella is so bittersweet. Sooo nice but he never fought the same way after that
Mousasi fight, he was always gun shy
Tank hitting the stiffened up man, stiffignening him up more, then mocking him was the most brutal shit I’ve ever seen
Tank was legendary, in his last fight he said something along the lines of; 'fuck this shit, fuck ufc and if anyone wants to fight me you'll find me at the bar'
makes watching tank lose all the more satisfying.
Lol he came back and lost three in a row makes it way less badass, he threw a fit and left@@purpledrank3916
Respect for the UFC vets for pioneering the sport, but so many of them were just remorseless thugs with no sense of sportsmanship.
4:47 Still the scariest KO I’ve seen.
The kick that ended Halls career as a top contender, after that he was too scared to kill someone.
Shoutout to most of the victors with the "one-hit KO's" to have the discipline and self-control to realize their opponent is knocked out, and not needlessly pummel them any more than they already were.
Tank Abbott doing his scarecrow impersonation after knocking out Matua is Gold
Khaos Williams KO of Abdul Razak Alhassan was scary. His whole body went stiff, then It took almost 10 minutes for Alhassan to regain consciousness.
Jesus Christ
Only real fans remember this 👏🏻
10 min? holy crap,i hope hes living a healthy life now. 10 min is srs brain damage usually.
That rashad evans ko on chuck liddell always stuck with me even as a teen… the way he ragdolls, chilling.
4:25 that was the most disrespectful shit I've ever seen 😂😂😂
Pales in comparison to Tank Abbott callously mocking John Matua's fencing response by imitating it 😂
if instead of the elbow pose he imitated the same pose of his ko'd opponent that would've been worse...or...better?
1:17 always hurts my heart to watch. To me, that was the end of the Iceman. I know he got finished before but I truly believe he was never the same after that one.
It was the end for the Iceman as his chin turned to glass overnight. After this Chuck kept getting brutally finished by shots he would have eaten like tic-tacs in his prime.
Seeing Aljo get knocked out has made my day
The crowd reaction after the Till KO will never not be hilarious
Tank Abbot gets forgotten about among the heavyweight killers. That man sent people to the shadow realm and then laughed in their families faces
Dude was beating up gas station clerks. Heavyweight killer my ass
@@maltheri9833 Exactly. HW division in UFC was a joke back then. All the skilled guys were in Pride.
@@leeham6230 Pride didn’t even exist when Tank was in his prime.
@@WarBrah Tank Abbott was a pro wrestler who’s fighting style was some made up BS called “Pit fighting”. He was 1 step above the tough man competitions with Butterbean
@@maltheri9833 he was still a beast compared to his competition. This same BS argument exists with people trying to claim Babe Ruth wasn't shit because the average players were so much worse back then, what people making that argument fail to acknowledge is that the later generations of athletes had the benefit of looking back at the Babe Ruths and Tank Abbotts, and building off of what they did.
That Gary Goodridge knockout is the scariest knockout in UFC history imo
TRUE My Boy
Probably could be why they banned the downward elbow strikes?
@@danielorozco2297 All those elbows are still legal today. They banned 12 to 6 elbow, none of those elbows were 12 to 6.
@@vitzveer get your eyes tested almost every single one of those elbows where downward 12 to 6 elbows that's what a 12. To six elbow is smfh🤣
@@mattdayman9632 nah, my eyes are fine, you just don't understand the concept of 12 to 6 elbow according to the rule. In order to be 12 to 6, it has to come from up top straight down. Those elbows came sideway because they're both lying on the mat. That's why that rule is stupid. None of those elbows were classified as 12 to 6 elbows. When they talk about "downward trajectory" it has to follow gravity. The "clock" they use in the concept of 12 to 6 is the clock on the wall and the elbow has to come up top from 12 position directly down to 6 position. Look at their position again with the clock in your mind, those were not 12 to 6 unless you tilt the clock sideway.
Mike Goldberg: "A lotta head movement from Edwards here Joe." Yves Edwards: *instantly dies*
That Makdessi spinning backfist always gets me fired up. Absolutely perfect technique and precision.
Respect to the men who pulled back and didn't hit a defenseless KOed man on the ground.
Hendo vs Bisping 1 wasnt a fight, it was an attempted murder
Always appreciative of the guys who realize the KO happened and can stop themselves from dealing any post-KO damage.
Imagine seeing that Rakic consistently. That was simply a beautiful combo.
Even though it was Herb Dean's fault, what Derrick did to Curtis was scary af.
John Makdessi VS Kyle Watson is one of my favorite knockouts of all-time now, Thank you ITP
Silva at the end just holding down Jardine by his throat was amazing.
3:20 THIS is the most vicious KO and follow up payback shot in the history of the sport. Funny side note: Hendo has the silhouette image of him flying in the air about to drop that follow up H bomb w him and Bisping in white w a black background programmed to pop up and hold for 5 seconds when he turns on his TV in his rec room. 😂 I wish I was good at remembering names but someone close to Hendo told Rogan that on his JRE podcast. Fantastic. Lol
how bisping still alive til this day after that hendo flying elbow is a miracle
I forgot that Tank Aboot mocked his opponent's unconscious pose. Almost spit coffee all over my tablet.
The H-bomb on Bisping felt so classy at the time lol. I was a kid and Bisping really pissed me off lol. He didn't have to eat that flying forearm smash 😂
Apparently bisping doesn’t remember the couple weeks before and the fight itself bc of that H bomb
Super necessary
Rakic vs Manuwa was scary. Jimi was out a couple minutes. I've never seen anything like that.
Jon Jones' technical submission of Lyoto Machida and Deiveson Figueiredo'a tech sub of Joe Benavides were also terrifying, Joe woke up screaming while Figgy was celebrating. Anybody got others like this?
When Lewis KO Blaydes, he woke up screaming as well
@@rockerboyka94 he went to hell and back damn

Tank Abbott fights like a drunk uncle who's beer just got taken...
3:01 this was so funny to me 🤣
Mike Perry’s screech after straight up flatlining ellenberger is a sound that will be remembered for eternity
Some old classic's in this one, well done, could of just been an Ngannou highlight reel
I thought for sure Chandler vs. Ferguson would be on here. That one was SCARY
Jiri vs Reyes too
You mean when he turned him into a chicken nugget? 😂 Top 5 best punchfaces ever, hands down
No matter how many times I watch the Barboza knockout of Terry Etim, I am simply blown away. One of the most spectacular KO's of all time.
That second KO by Tank Abbott was a "HOLY SHIT" moment...The way Nelmark fell and landed...I thought he was dead!!!
After that fight Nelmark was called Steve "Fuck, he's dead" Nelmark.
Halls knockout was so brutal he felt so bad he apologized and wasn’t the same since, he didn’t like hurting people
He picked a strange line of work to be in then.
@@uncouthboy8028 yes I agree haha I myself love fighting but I don’t necessarily like to hurt my friends or others it’s just not my nature

At 3:51, “is he save by the bell” Mike Goldberg is the gift that keeps on giving lol
That Gary Goodridge knock out is so brutal. Classic AF
Rashad KO'ing Liddell was one of the meanest hard KO's of all time. A HW would have went night night.
Rashad had some of the fastest hands in the division in his prime. His striking was never to be underestimated because he could end your night with one punch you never saw coming. Chuck found that out the hard way.
All respect to Chuck Liddell but he was allowed to fight for way too long. This chin was gone at least half a dozen fights before they forced him to retire
@@rustmonster1e Rampage cracked it, Rashad destroyed it.
Good lord, Sylva man handling Jardine is crazy every time I see it. He just knocks him down, pushes his head into position, throws bombs, Jardine bucks him slightly in an attempt to get out, and Sylva just shoves him back down again to throw more bombs until he's out. Thats a literal a$$ whooping there, like a true brawl, and Dean of Mean got manhandled in front of everyone.
6:22
one hand raepe choke one hand smashysmashy
Love how Bispings head lines up perfectly with the cap, clean😅
The cap on the canvas of course
i love that tank abbott KO, him mocking the guys stiff and lifeless torso by doing his crucifix impression of the guy is just savage lol
I'm a big combat sports fan and have competed myself, but its so brutal. I think many years from now we will look back at this like we do at the Roman Colosseum. The toll it has on fighters is significant. This may sound funny but sometimes I think Aliens never land and make contact with us because we are so brutish and violent. Think about it, we applaud and jump from our seats when we see a "good" knockout, but when someone has an accident where they are knocked out or hurt badly we cringe in horror. Just my .02
Chandler’s front kick KO of Tony deserves to be on here
That second clip was deadly
OMG, that was thrilling to watch! Thank you
Love how one of the commentator goes “Jesus” @1:01
“BAM!” “OH JESUS,OH MY GOD!”
I remember watching the Rashad/Salmon KO live. Salmon slept the entire time they interviewed Rashad. Got to the point Rashad was expressing concern and starting to get worried if he was OK or not. But the fact they even dug up Salmon from nowheresville, and threw him in the cage for Rashad to avenge some BS wrestling loss from when they were in college was embarassing, and the outcome was exactly what should've been expected.
3:51 “is he saved by the bell or is it over?” As he’s laying dead on the canvas😭😭😭
As many times as we've all seen these KO's, they're still so fun to watch.
When Romero hit that flying knee against Weidman, I immediately thought he might have killed him. He practically scalped him. That blood was leaking bad. While not a cold knockout, brutal asf....
i very much miss Mike Perry being in the UFC he was such a fun personality to have around
I know the mans unconscious but the posture at 2:03 had me dieing 🤣
Wanderlei had many more iconic knockouts than the one showed in the video. The one against Rampage Jackson is part of history.
what Ngannou did to Jairzinho was the most scared I’d ever been for a fighter

I'm glad you got that UFC129 Makdessi spinning backfist in there. Watson was out for so long after this it was scary
DOWN GOES THE REEM
Rashaf looked like he cracked chuck's skull with that KO, damn
Many rightly feared Chuck would not be the same after the KO... and he wasn't. That punch destroyed whatever remained of his chin.
I remember being 10 years old and renting a ufc tape from the video store and seeing that Gary Goodridge knockout. Golden memories!
It's so humbling seeing these huge men knocked out and motionless. Reminds you nobody is invincible
Bisping getting sent to the shadow realm has to be one of the most satisfying KOs of all time, thank you Hendo
Sometimes it is difficult to admit that you are a fan of this sport. It is so brutal. I love martial arts, so I'm here to stay, but damn. I really hate the follow up punches to an unconscious opponent, but I understand in the heat of a fight, you want to make sure he's out. Some of these guys are just animals (not a compliment)
Well it’s also something that gets taught in a lot of gyms. Yes there are times when they’re clearly unconscious and down, but you also get taught to keep going until the ref stops you. I get where you’re coming from, but that’s not an easy mentality to break when it’s drilled into you. I personally like boxing more for this reason. If the guy is down and can’t get up the fight is over, that being said though, a lot more people have died in boxing than MMA
@@slimygoon9993 ya I hear what your saying. A lot of these guys are good dudes... Until they step in the octagon. Their training goes beyond techniques and cardio. They are trained to be aggressive and never to stop. Some fighters can't turn it off when they go home unfortunately ( War machine, mayhem miller amongst others).
@@koolkat5217 right, just nature of the sport but that’s where you to have to train your own mentality too. It all comes down to the individual just harder for some then others

3:53 „was he saved by the bell or is it over?“ Bro what😂
That stout guy really has integrity. In the split second he has to go attack his fallen opponent, he recognizes he’s out and holds off. Tank Abbott would have thrown a bomb and then mocked the seizure he caused from the cowardly move
A rare elusive good stoppage from Mario 3:49
Hendo on Bisping is my favorite of all time. Shutting someone up with such satisfaction is is a rare thing.
