lol, idk how anyone understands anybody else. They’re all talking sooo fast in a shorthand kind of way, French accent here, American there, I can’t believe hundreds and hundreds of planes come in and out of one of the biggest airports in the world without incident…AMAZING!
That’s because mandatory long-term training is required in the aviation industry, more so when it comes to transporting people and goods.
Understanding the lingo was literally the toughest thing in my flight training.
That what for sure a tricky part 😬
@@fanflynorcal and why do they talk soooooo fast, no enunciation and they mic off in the middle of a word. If it was me I'd slowly go, " Excuse me gentlemen on F L I G H T 3 0 7 HEAVY, you fellows can go wait at runway T6... But don't go anywhere, just sit and wait for my next instructions boys and girls...OK?" LOL
I understand parfaitement
Pilots are incredible! Such an amazing skill
Thanks to you 😉
Writing down your taxi instructions makes it way easier to read back, especially if you're at a busy airport. Great video.
Breathtaking views of the Chicago area from 2800 feet in the sky. Thanks as always for the beautiful footage🙂
You're very welcome 🙏
and the city is barely even on screen!
Flying is the easy...it's understanding traffic control's instructions that's the hard part!!!
Your videos are awesome and have really helped me understand the art of flying. It's really improved my sim flying skills.
This video is 'fantastic', of all the "plane" videos I've watched, this is the only one with such detailed graphics of the controls and the takeoff procedures!!! Thanks, us viewers need more of these types of videos to increase our joy in watching them!! JMS
Thanks a lot for your comment! ☺️ Visit my channel, there're plenty of vids like this one 😉
Fly Air Mauritius
I used to work as a Warehouse Agent inside Air France at O'hare! Very cool to see this side of things.
Looks like one of the more complicated airports to taxi and maneuver around. That's got to be at least somewhat stressful. Always appreciate all the added annotations, very cool!
Thanks for your comment 🙏
@@INZEAIR84 Good video but 5 or 10 min more would have been perfect...
Noted for the next time !
@@INZEAIR84 👍
it certainly can be, but for minority of flights it can be as short as 3-4 turns.
I love the editing ❤
Thank you so much 🙏
I love midway airport. Rough neighborhood but great airport!
This is O Hare, not Midway
Totally awesome thank you for bringing this beautiful content to all of us!👏
Thanks to you for your positive message 🙏😊
Cool... yall fly cargo planes also. Freggin awesome
This is awesome. I will subscribe. Keep putting them out. I love how you explain everything
Awesome, as always...Thank you so much.
You're very welcome 🙏
Your cockpit videos are the best!!! ✈️
Thank you so much 🙏
Merci beaucoup 🙏
Thank you again, 5 minutes longer would have been great
A lot of people don't realize that O'Hare is a super busy, gigantic airport and it's not uncommon for taxying to sometimes take longer than for example a short, regional flight itself. I used to joke that the taxing at O'Hare and a cab from La Guardia to Manhattan combined is longer than the flight from Chicago to NYC. Not funny though... it really is!
Short but very good video. Amazing light show is KORD and the area! Thank you!
Yes that's truly beautiful!
Glad to see you're getting the hell out of Chicago. Good choice.
Oh piss off. It's a great city.
Thannks for the content, love the 777, tremendous airplane.
Thank you for your comment 🙏
Beautiful.
Thx 🙏
Very enjoyable video, professional crew as always! Clear skies and safe travels!
Thanks
Cool video! Not a pilot, but I love aviation. I live near an airport, on the approach and departure flight path (great for plane spotting), so as I'm watching this, I'm hearing the aircraft overhead.
Thanks for your positive comment and for sharing us your story 😀
Excellent video. I took French in HS many years back but could understand some of your conversation. Look forward to more videos in the future. Bon Nuit!
Thanks a lot 🙏
Thanks for the video. I like the step by step with diagrams of ORD cargo area. The video of the 777 interior makes you feel like your in the cockpit.
Thanks a lot for your feedback!
Fascinating. I am awed how complex, yet organized, getting a plane in the air is. As I was watching, I was thinking, what would the Wright Brothers think of this?!
I get it. I always imagine Benjamin Franklin or George Washington onboard.
@@chipurBillWhite 😁
i always spot at ORD. love seeing how it is as a pilot at the airport i am constantly visiting :)
Thanks for your comment 🙏
Awesome explanation! every step is so clear and detail!
Thanks a lot 🙏
Nice, thanks for sharing!
You're welcome 😁
Amazing video, very informative. 👍🏻👍🏻 Love it!
Thanks a lot 😀
All foreign pilots coming to the US are required by the FAA to speak enough english to takeoff and land. Did very well on this video.
Thanks a lot 🙏
TRIPLE 777❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I didn't like flying as a kid and i still don't now as an adult, but i did like when we flew at night much better!
Not often we get to see a widebody with V1 nearly at Vr lol. Many thanks for this location, it's a wonderful airport imo. Too bad we can only see a fifth of it on any given flight lol
its true i am very addictive this channel what a explanation really really enjoy full videos landing takeoff just woww thankyou for making this channel
Thanks a lot for your comment 🙏
Tres bien
Merci 😉
Fantastic!!!

Great Editing, when is the next ORD flight video coming?
Thank you! I don't know when will be the next one!
I forget that y’all do both cargo and passenger services. This is my first time watching you fly cargo. The differences are so fascinating. Thank you for sharing this.
Thanks for your post!
It's so crazy to recognize the gate from inside the plane. I work at O'hare at the Lufthansa gate right next to Air France. I've even driven on the service roads this plane passes on it's way to the runway! Fucking love airplanes
Great video again, always look forward to your uploads. I found 5:50 a bit funny LOL. Airports with double letter taxiways plus fast speaking air traffic controllers always leave my head scratching as someone aspiring to be a pilot. I'm always like, what are they even saying and how do guys follow so well? LMAO. Was funny and gave me a sense of relieve to see even pros sometimes struggle with it as well. With practice I'll get to that level as well one day. Once again thanks for the awesome content!!!
Thanks to you 🙏😉 hope you'll enjoy the next one!!
I wish I had your job Captain. So nice. Good upload.
Thanks for your message 🙏 very kind 👍
Great video as always!
Thanks
Superbe, comme toujours
Merci bien 👍
Former Boeing Everett where B-777's are assembled. The view of Triple Seven flight deck never grows old. When I first started at Boeing in the 90's plane had just taken it's maiden flight and orders were being finished for eager customers. There were screen savers on company computers of the 777 flight deck. The soothing colors were picked because they didn't add to pilot sensory overload. Colors worked during day and night. Even the all glass cockpit displays were revolutionary. Today, this is just business and design as usual. Triple Seven was the first. The most reassuring words on take off... V1... Rotate.... Positive Climb.....
Screensavers on Win95 I guess 😉 my first OS on a PC 😁 Time is running but these planes are still flying us with the same safetyness! Thanks for your testimony! 🙏
@@INZEAIR84 Thanks for the comment. I worked in IT when I first started with Boeing. They used older versions of Windows and other OS's across a huge campus. My division had 350 people doing support and network operations. Everything Boeing did was the biggest one in world including Microsoft Windows, NT, Apps, IBM, Silicone Graphics, Cisco, Dell, and more. There were 50,000 devices on Everett network alone. I fell in love with the factory and the process of making aircraft. I spent 1 year becoming a Lean Manufacturing Expert and then was sent to fix problems at different plants. Boeing is still an amazing company with amazing people, making amazing aircraft.
Bonne vidéo! ( I only know a little French🤣) The quality of your videos is Great! Especially this one..very clear. I'm sharing this with all my pilot friends. Keep it up Sir!.
Thanks a lot for your positive comment and for sharing 😊
I always enjoy your videos. This one, I got very aggravated listening to every read back to ATC instructions they couldn't get a number out correctly!!
Time to say something. I love your channel and the way you explain many things. I am a flightsimmer from The Netherlands and this enables me to learn. I discovered your channel a week ago or so, and subscribed. AF en KLM are my favourite airlines, The 2 sisters. I also love your humor in the name. The French way to say In the Air with a little joke. Thank you for everything.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm very touched 🙏
@@INZEAIR84 You are most welcome.
This Call sign 👌🏾 AF6733 😊
ORD South Cargo Air France maybe next time i see you guys , nice video!!
Thanks 😊
Very nice as usual! Was this filmed during pandemic? Tricky taxi instructions haha. Cheers from Argentina.
Dang, wanted to see until the next freq change to see if it was me on the other end. Hello from Chicago Center!
Amazing video! 👏
Thanks a lot 🙏
Excellent videos
Thanks to you 🙏😊
Great video!
Thanks 😊
That is a very stressful taxi! I did not know that you flew cargo, I thought you only did passenger flights.
Yes indeed we fly cargo sometimes, we have two 777F at AF
Foot tkanks
Hello FO , thank you again for your great video ! Can I know which is your favourite routes upon you become a FO? Have a safe fly always
Thanks to you! One of my fav is Paris - Tokyo via Siberia!
Salut. Antilles?. A bientôt Patrick LFPO ✈️✈️👍👍
Only 60t to CDG? What´s your Cost Index? Amazing video, thanks for sharing!
David Emmanuel 😜😜
I'm always a little disappointed when you're the FO but it's still beautiful footage! I flew to O'Hare a lot and I always liked it.. except for when we'd get stuck in a holding pattern over the lake for 45 minutes, watching all the other planes going nowhere fast with us.
holding patterns are *mostly* a thing of the past, it's a lot better than it was 20-25 years ago. but in severe weather it still happens sometimes.
@@UnshavenStatue It was the weather.. the lake effect can cause havoc at O'Hare! I was surprised they had an extra 45 minutes of fuel.
@@crypto1701 they have to have extra fuel. Have to be able to hold and then divert to another airport.
💪💪💪💪🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🏆🏆🏆🏆
Please keep making videos
I'll try !!
I want to become a pilot and your videos are so educational!
Thanks to you 🙏
So are AF passenger pilots and cargo pilots interchangeable? I've seen some of your videos where you park at the passenger gates.
At AF, B777 pilots are qualified on B777200er B777300er and B777F and we do both pax flights and cargo flights.
A question.I thought that on all take offs that you would have 100% thrust so what is the purpose of "Thrust set" or is it a fail safe?
No we have almost always an assumed temperature for the engines that reduce thrust power for each takeoff, it's never 100% N1. We always check at takeoff that the thrust displayed match with the computed takeoff thrust to be sure we have enough power for takeoff!
@@INZEAIR84 Thank you very much.
Have u always been doing Air France Cargo or do u do passenger and cargo?
Both, have a look to the other videos 😉
Their pushback script seems so informal unless it was edited.
Merci, j aime beaucoup votre chaine.
first!
GG 😉
I was at ORD a few days ago and saw an Air France plane and was wondering if it was you but alas it was a 787. Does it feel different to fly a cargo flight vs a passenger flight?
Not really, to me it's almost the same feeling between 777 200 300 and F
You fly both 77f and 77w?
Right, and 777200 as well
@@INZEAIR84 Wow,amazing!
Curious, why do they say “Heavy” after saying the aircraft number?
Because the aircraft weight is above 136tons!
I would love to be a pilot one day just like you. Maybe one day I'll travel to Paris!
I wish you all the success, it's a great job 👍
@@INZEAIR84 :)
Ah, poor Steve Bartman had to be memorialized forever in the BRTMN fix. It's a sad story in its own way, a local sporting incident from 2003 that really wasn't Steve's fault, but he went down infamous in Chicago history for the very minor role he played. Heaven knows there's a lot of baseball-related fixes in US airspace lol.
Thanks to you for this explaination!
