    • The announcer's very old. Back in the day that would be called a travel. Not defending him but he probably just didnt know that was already allowed to do in 2007

    • old tommy heinsohn...lakers hater..he died not long after the lakers tied his beloved celtics with 17 titles..if he was lucky to live longer he could've seen the lakers go past the celtics in titles

  • I went to this game. I remember Kobe was coming off a one game suspension for snacking Ginobili in the face accidentally exaggerating a foul. The next game was against the Knicks and they announced the suspension some hours earlier. I went to that NY game too and was pissed that he wasn't playing. At least the Celtics paid the price for that the next night. RIP! It was a pleasure to see him torch that team.

  • one of the most exciting things about watching Kobe is how fundamentally sound he was. Nowadays people tend to think the fundamentals are boring, and instead want to right away jump into doing the fanciest moves they can think of. But Kobe really showed the importance of having the fundamentals fully mastered and still made it look so beautiful.

    • i cannot agree more. the move of shooting by kobe is much more beautiful than "fanciest moves" by most players now

  • I dont think you can have a GOAT in a team sport... However, Kobe is may best 2-way player ever! I would pick him over MJ. Why? 62 points in 3qtrs; 81 p game.... This dude was a bad man. I would pick KOBE best game against 100 of the top NBA players.
