Legend has it that each time you click this mouse, u can feel 15 years of Quaking coursing through your veins, swiping it adds an additional 5 years
Thank you RJN!!!! We love everything you do for the mouse community ❤❤❤❤
i love the new flat shape i've been searching for a low profile, quality mouse and it's finally here
The reddit doesnt though lmao
@@miklywayscurious why
Thank you RJN this changes literally everything
ive been wanting to get this off my chest for a while. when i first saw the original rocket jump ninja mouse it left a bad taste in my mouth. literally, i was eating a sandwich and the chipotle sauce was one of the most horrendous sauces i have ever tasted, and every time i lay my eyes on his mouse, i think back to that terrible day where i consumed the terrible sauce. Thank you.
Does the mouse paste the lick taste though?
Have to try the mz1 again. Didnt really give it a chance 6 months ago. Returned it after 2 weeks. Great review man! 💯
Yooo boardzy I love ur content keep up the great work
Brutal review. subbed. love and blessings!
Shiiieet lookin forward to that X2 mini review!
can't wait to see your review on the Pulsar X2, seems to be a very promising mouse
I've been collecting mice for over 25 years and this one is my absolute favorite. Phenominal fingertip grip mouse thats easily modded for weight reduction if you wanted to but I feel 55-65g is the sweet spot area. My new main, its just that good.
how can i mod it ?
@@L1orB change the battery out for a smaller one and you can also remove the weight distribution slider if you want. All very easy to do.
I found the m42 better for fingertip after 15 mice
@elitemav so this mouse is not suitable for palm/claw grip?
Isnt hsk pro 4k superior to this in every way? For fingertipping
I would also add that if you liked the shape of the mm710, you will probably like this shape. Also I found out I had a very similar grip style to RJN and thought it would be a perfect fit for me. The wireless performance has been better than the finalmouse starlight 12 for me. I had the gods collection and the phantom. Both versions had wireless issues and i never felt consistent on them. MZ1 feels super nice and definitely my end game mouse for now until i decide i want 4k polling and a higher refresh rate monitor
Im not fully satisfied with my GPX, A wireless mm710 alike would probably be my end game.
@@rafaelg9223 u could wait for the mm712, which is possibly an August release
Have u done the firmware updates?
@@flux3033 for the MZ1? I haven't intentionally updated firmware no. Unless it does it automatically
Love the MM710, hate the MZ1.
That relaxed fingertip grip style works very well on the dav3 wireless. My hand just slumps into that position sometimes and just feels right. Also after trying 4k p.r., i dont want to go back. I will buy instantly if this was 4k.
I love my wireless version. With the low back, it now replaces my superlight. Just so good. What a great product from a fellow Aussie.
I found the Mz1 wired ver, for 25€ you think it's worth it?
@@TheACTIONZ I think that's about $40 aussie dollars (AUD) If new that's a good buy. They are $60 AUD here. The only difference is you are stuck with the high back ( I prefer the low back you also get with the wireless).
@@auslad it's a bit used but should be fine
Thanks for the review, was just wondering can you actually turn the RGB lights off on this mouse? Thanks
Quick question, what camera do you have it looks really good 👍
Using this on a MP-450 Cordura Pad and first experience was bad as sensor did stuck for a second whenever you stop for a second and try to move the mouse again. I could fix it by changing the LOD to 2mm. Great mous replacing my V2Pro and some mod GPX mice i used before. Took about a week of gaming to get used to the shape. Now it's the perfect match! Try it!
maybe ill consider upgrading to this, as the wired is my main. Not because of wireless or the new shape, just the qc.
might be worth it
i did so and have no regrets, the mouse does feel more solid
if u like the shape the wireless is worth the upgrade.
thank you RJN 😍😍
i really really wanted to like the mz1. i used the wired for 6 months and toward the end i was swapping back to my ultralight 2. picked up the wireless cause maybe the new back was the answer. nope. bought a gpro superlight and it feels like home. support RJN forever but idk...... it wasnt for me even though i wanted it to be.
I really think the mz1 wired is good enough imo there's no need to get the wireless if you have the wired already. It's just that good for fingertip and palm grip users. I liked everything about the mouse except of course the thumb rest really squeaks so bad but it's very easy to fix. 👍 This is a very weird looking mouse but your aiming (if you're a fingertip/palm grip) will be on another level. ☝️😉
I think no one knows wtf you are talking about but we liked your comment regardless
@@fireflameft2964 haha okay. well thanks for the thumbs up my friend. 😄

Worth noting that as far as I can tell, there are Not plenty of aftermarket skates available. I think I only saw corepads when I was looking.
I just ordered one mainly because I've been eyeing it for a while now but also because I love the xtrfy m42 but the cable is my main gripe and I need a wireless mouse again
Whenever you do a Pulsar X2 review can you compare it to the Orochi? I’m looking for a new mouse with a similar feel and so far the pulsar x2 and XM2W seem to be the best options
thx for review
I main the MZ1, claw grip with 21.5 cm x 11.5 cm hand size. The comfort grooves, hump contact, and sides all fit like a glove
Hey, it's been 6 months already, been I was looking to ask if you used the main back profile or switched to the alternative one? I'm interested in picking this mouse up and use a relaxed claw grip
Yo what's up Boardzy
Desperately waiting on a x2 / x2 mini review
with the lower back it's the perfect for me, i love it so much i bought the black one! although depends on how much i like the Viper v2 pro and the hyper polling dongle i might main that instead...
Same, after trying almost everything available that's my two endgame for now.
did you ever get the viper v2 pro? how did it stack up?
comparison to a g305 with no back is pretty accurate. used that pretty much exclusively for the past year and this feels the same
I've got wired MZ1 and its quality is not disappointing (mine doesn't crack when you squeeze and also feels solid mb not all of them came out with bad quality build)
I'm so happy my wired mz1 broke honestly. Got all my money back and bought this one, very happy.
Thank you RJN
Yo @boardzy mousepad was used for the aim training clip?
Have you reviewed any mice by evga because i heard they have pretty good mice although they look weird.
2 years later and i still havent been able to give up this mouse. 19x10 hands using claw grip
Wowser RJN blessed quake gaming skills >>> holy water on g pro x superlight
even when i see no seal of approval i still watch
Hey boardzy. I live in India with terrible humidity conditions. Please suggest me a good mousepad..The only available mousepads here are zowie, razer, hyperx, steelseries
When can we expect the x2 mini review??
I myself do prefer the lower back on the mouse, it was a big difference for me.
Sir when should we expect a Saturn pro review? Thank you in advance
boardzy do review on the esports tiger wuixang 2 mousepad
The wireless one seems very interesting for me as it got changeable back. I would prefer using the lower back shell as I don't do claw grip and I hate any mouse that got a fat round high hump back, forcing me not to squeeze my palm and keep it widened. I do a fingertip-plam hybrid grip and I'm a wrist aimer.
@@cvd1 kinda yes. But the difference is in pure claw grim the fingers are more curled downwards. But I keep my fingers more straight and take a bit support from my palm partially. Pure palm grim requires the hand to have more area of the hand in touch with the mouse. Surprisingly I preferred the default back shell of mz1 wireless than the low back shell. Having more contact with mouse like pure palm grip gives more stability and relaxation but compromise mobility for wrist aimer like me. Pure fingertips gives maximum mobility but compromise stability resulting in shaky aim as well as hand fatigue. Claw is in between but I prefer keeping my fingers more straight and relaxed than claw. More like RJN grip but not identical.
I like fat rounded high humped backs and I still haven't found a mouse I like.
They need to get rid of the holes except on the bottom and also get rid of the adjustable weight balance and make separate versions for high hump and low hump(I'm guessing the swappable system adds extra weight) and even use micro usb instead of usb c if everything else doesn't make it light enough. Just don't use holes
Filling in the holes would offer a more stable form, which therefor would need a less thick wall for the same stability, and would actually lose weight. Just a theory though.
does this have a software yet or are you stuck on the regular settings?
How about a quick review of the pulsar x2 mini?
Just realized I missed boardzy con… what am I doing with my life😔
Hi ,Boadzy. My hand - length =19 cm / width = 9.5 cm wide. Is this mouse good for me, for fingertip grip? Thank you !
When will you be reviewing the Pulsar X2?
Love this mouse, just wish it was lighter. Very dense feeling mouse, subjectively feels a lot heavier in hand than the wired variant or compared to something like the viper v2 pro. Was ready impressed with the clicks though, side buttons feel nice now too. Will be main bc the shape has broken me. Not even sure why I like this as I find it similar in size to the starlight 12 small (regarding width) and I find the SL12 small to be too small to be usable
Boardzy how do i know if i have small to medium or medium to large hands?
The Xtrfy MZ1 does have a mappable DPI button though which lots of people including myself wish every mouse had.
Most xtrfy mice feel great out of the box. Give it 1-2 months and I'll be amazed if the MZ1w doesnt sound exactly like the wired one.
ive given it 2-3 weeks but yeah i could see it getting worse. both my wired mz1s were bad out of the box tho
i've had the m4 wireless for around 6 months and it still feels great. it held up better than my viper ultimate (v2)
Another banger
my lord rjn catering to the masses with this masterpiece 🙏🙏🙏
Yh catered towards the rear end of the mouse. I bought it for that reason. And I can’t use the scroll wheel after. Maybe my hands are too short for it so i’m using the hsk+.
is this mouse suitable for palm/claw grip?
No seal of approval boardzy? You’re not respecting what the goat of mice reviews made 😤😂
PMM MZ1 i have been maining and love it
Bought this, the GPX, and G303 SE to see which I liked and ended up keeping the MZ1 Wireless. The GPX didn't feel right in my hand and was too slippery. The G303 felt amazing, until I used the MZ1 and the G303 just felt enormous after that. lol I really love the shape of the MZ1 Wireless with the smaller back shell, and I'm a claw-gripper with my fingertips and back-right palm hitting the back-right edge of the mouse. I actually dislike the original back shape, as it's almost too much contact for me. The clicks feel very nice, the scroll wheel is tight and not clunky, and the thumb buttons are the best I've used. The weight balance is perfect for me as well. I know a lot of people complain about the cost and RGB, but I leave the RGB off and it was cheaper than the GPX, so for me it's fine. I've had the mouse for 11 days now and after only charging it up once when I first got it, the battery indication still shows green, so no complaints there. (RGB completely off btw) The ONLY cons for me are lack of software and inability to choose specific DPI settings, but I found 1200 to work great for my use. I'm definitely no pro gamer and only use the mouse for normal use and a little gaming, but I absolutely love the MZ1 Wireless and definitely recommend giving it a chance.
Who really use a specific DPI anyway ? (I assume you mean different than the preset dpi of the mouse)
@@xenove4885 Me. lol I think I was using 1100 before, but 1100 to 1200 took about 30 seconds to get used to, so it was fine.
I've been preying on the MZ1 Wireless since it's release but the only thing that keeps me from buying one is the lack of software as you said, I'm used to specific DPI settings on different games/applications.
I would love to get a bigger version of it since I am a palm grip user
10/10 for not confising relaxed vs fiingertip which is more than the creator of the mouse can say
I see a lot of people calling this a fingertip grip mouse, so here's my input: For my hands (which are just slightly above average), this is not a fingertip grip mouse, especially compared to the Razer Orochi V2 and Logitech G305. It's longer, and there's no *comfortable* way to grip the mouse without the back contacting your palm. So it's going to be some kind of claw grip mouse. I'm usually a fingertip player if I have a choice, so I think I'll stick with the Orochi V2, which is going for $55 these days.
honestly the black one on that red square i see might just be more Influential
did they send you one for review this time??
I’m getting this mouse as soon as possible
hi boardzy, do you mind giving a review on Razer Basilisk v2 or X Hyperspeed or Ultimate? i cant find honest review anywhere, i only know you are the one who gives a honest goddamn review on any product with no fanboy shit mention and reply me when the vid is out
The new pulsar will be a banger
I've had a simillar problem with the MZ1 - my flicks are great but my tracking is really bad I guess because the mouse is just too small for me , any bigger mz1-like mouse suggestions to fix that?
There really aren’t any bigger mz1 style shapes. Starlights should be a bit more manageable for fingertip tho. Also viper v2 pro could work but a totally different style
S12 small similar size bit bigger and 20 grams lighter. Call me a shill but it’s my fav mouse and I’ve owned it for like 7 months
It’s a completely different shape but I had a similar experience with the m42 and I’m upgrading to the xm2w… I use relaxed fingertip on the m42 but I have a feeling that’s just because of its size
@@pearshaped9116 M42 shape felt very uncomfortable for relaxed fingertip to me, I could see why you had simillar issues. If you play relaxed fingertip I definitely wouldn't go for the xm1 shape, it's pretty much claw/agressive claw or nothing with that mouse. You might want to look into Pulsar X2 , it's simillar to xm1r but meant for fingertip. It has flat side curvature and doesnt have the extremely wide hump of the XM1 which forces you into claw/palm.
@@StarcraftSwarm yeah what I meant was I’m pretty sure I was trying to claw the mouse but it was so small I could only fingertip it, I don’t really have a “grip” yet so im more looking out for a mouse that is really good for A grip and my hand size (20x11)cm, woulda got an mz1 w but i wanna try on the larger side after the m42
Tried this mouse coming from an O- and I absolutely love the shape. Unfortunately, I can't shake the sensation of input lag / translation compared with the glorious. Feels overly smooth floaty.
your brain no work good i thinks
Nothing wrong with the input lag / wireless etc. according to the M4's review on TechPowerUp. And i hate KZheadr reviews like "oh wireless is not as great as XY" lol bro measure it, otherwise its bullshit. (Unless it is very noticable...)
adjustable weight balance should have been adjustable sensor positioning.
What mouse has the lightest clicks ? Is the super light a good choice for light clicks?
I heard the Japanese omrons switch are very light but rare on stock mouses so it might be best to look for a switch mod.
Is that a Pulsar X2 in the background I see??
swapped battery from broken gpx and mine copy is now 54 grams , there is no that middle weight felling , now it is perfect, and yes I use no hump version
wait, Pulsar X2 mini? 🤩
No software for macro purposes but good shape thou kinda bummer there is no software included
+1 for pro version without RGB and holes. Mostly RGB
thank you RJN, our god almighty for creating this heavenly product!

NOW WAY !!
But will the new Zy's MZ1 give me 23 years of first-person shooter experience?
Yes, after you use it for 23 years to play fps.
I hope they make a pro version without RGB and save some more grams
the taking off the leds would save about a gram not worth
We need mz1 wireless with new sensor and optical switches and 4k polling rate 😩😩😩
The xtrfy gp5 mousepad is out now🔥
How do you adjust the dpi? just got it but i dont know how to do it
Change the switch on the bottom to dpi
I see that pulsar x2 👀

I'm a g pro x user through and through. I've tried different mice, always went back to the og g pro. Now I rotate between 3 different g pro x (different skates). What if I told you a mouse was designed by a youtuber? Probably just a cash grab, right? But what if I told you that KZheadr built their channel on reviewing muce, has over 250 gaming mice in his house, 150 mouse reviews on the channel, and over 22 years' experience in first person shooters? Yeah, this isn't a cash grab. This is about taking mice to that next step. I started the Rocket Jump Ninja KZhead Channel because I realized I aimed better with certain mice. And others did too. Mice have come a long way in that time. Performance is amazing. But there's still one thing that's being neglected. And when it comes to aim, Shape is King. I've spent the last year testing my theories on design and my aim has never been better. So here it is. My experience. My Creation. The XTRFY MZ1 - ZY's Rail.

The only thing I have to say that is negative about this mouse. NO CUSTOMIZATION SOFTWARE. I play 1900-2100 dpi, depending on mouse and skates. But being stuck at 1600 feels too slow. :( Wish I could change that.
