Compliance can be extracted by tyrants from a population through a straightforward method of creating enmity between segments of the population. First, the population is split into those who comply with the tyrant's programs and policies and those who do not comply. If there are enough among the compliant, a demonization campaign we should call "hatecraft" is employed to pressure those dragging their feet to comply and to demonize those who refuse compliance. Perhaps no one in history was more skilled at these techniques, the politics of compliance, than Mao Zedong in CCP-controlled China. My rubbish hauler told me the recycling goes in the landfill with the rest of the trash.
Catch-all recycling plants are a grift. You need to take stuff to places that specialize in specific materials to get remotely meaningful yields.
Sure gets 'funded' though. The aluminium and other metals is what they want. The grift is getting you to sift your trash for it to be sold. The punchline is you pay them to collect it.

Have them sift through the garbage grab what can be refurbished, melted down, remade. and make sure the actual "we LITERALLY cant make a thingout of this even if we broke it down" stuff gets in the garbage. But thatd require such an overhaul of how we process sanitation work.
Yes it’s often about the appearance of doing something. In Melbourne various recycling facilities went broke and “caught fire” meaning recycling just had to be combined with the trash in landfills. At least for a while.

Bro…. I live in Nova Scotia and I was put on unpaid leave for resisting the jab mandate. When I think back at that time, it’s like remembering some nightmare … it was the twighlight zone. It was the best lesson of my life. I was sure they would never violate our constitutional Charter rights. My wife knew better, she’s from South America where they take less for granted. She saw it coming and I scoffed. Greatest education of my life.
I live in NZ and got fired for refusing the jab - I don't regret it as I'd rather be impiverished than dead... They violated basic human rights law and NZ's own Bill of Rights... The West is owned by the globalist, human-hating cabal (Gaza is proof, if you needed any more)... ..
I have a friend who lost her job for not getting vaccinated. Now here we are four years later and except for a handful of wackos who still inexplicably mask up while alone in their cars, everyone views Covid as a nuisance, not a threat. Sure, we could have the conversation about whether the vaccines were instrumental in quelling the virus, but I suspect it would have petered out all on its own. Meanwhile, millions remain “othered” for questioning the efficacy and ethics of it all. I’m vaccinated, btw, but I’m also a borderline nihilist, so if I have a heart attack or become a zombie a couple years down the road, oh well.

I must of been very blessed, halaluya. I didn't lock down and purposely drove during the hight of lock downs ,I was curious of the charges I'd be fighting. Nothing happened and others did the same ,I only even wore a mask long enough to snoop in three different hospitals. Everyone fell for some bs

Tyrants always enforce compliance by making examples of people. They treat a chosen few horribly to create fear. It has historically worked throughout human history. However occasionally resentment grows and the tyrant ends up treated horribly, either by a usurper or by the people not bothering to fight a foreign invader. In the west we’ve attempted to move on and create fairer societies with a rule of law. But it’s fragile if the people don’t understand what they can quickly lose.
In china and in the red terror in the USSR they had strategies to repeatedly refocus the peoples uninformed resentment against target groups. Against the rival factions or those that aren’t compliant enough.
One only needs to observe how mask wearers demonise those who are non compliant in western societies to see how this operates. Those who are fully indoctrinated feel quite virtuous in their compliance and experience hatred of anyone who questioned the approach society was taking. Edit and I see you covered just that.

The issue with this is, this is just a resistance technique. Thats good, but its just a shield. It does not prevent them from striking again, it only protects you from that one strike. They can and will attempt to strike from another angle, with another weapon, at another time. So what tool is there to make it so they can no longer strike at you, ever again?

Among the myriad of objectives achieved during the "pandemic", I believe the most insidious may have been to identify dissenters and nullify their voices. My wife and I experience direct, continuing and overt censorship across multiple platforms - and we're nobodies.
Most of my comments on here get hidden or deleted.It’s frustrating when i want to take the temperature on touchy subjects to see where other people’s heads are.Definitely makes a person feel like their concerns,perspectives,and beliefs are inconsequential by making you feel small and alone in a crowded dismissive condescending world.
While in college during the pandemic, they forced compliance in the exact ways you described (social compliance out of fear of being othered) they also forced it through mandates that if you didn't follow you couldn't go to class, or the food court, or the gym, etc. I had to comply in order to survive. I think the other important part of this message should of been about the importance of creating a life in which you have a backup option so that you can choose not to comply without ruining your life.
The only backup option is for all of us who oppose this to coalesce into the same regions and have each other's backs. If we do not, we will be isolated and forced to comply or worse.

A point I feel is missed with this type of discussion is that tyrants don’t have to work very hard to enforce compliance. The *people themselves* form into groups and enforce it upon one another, with a combination of vocabulary, thought control, social mores, laws and violence. It’s just human nature, and can be observed throughout history. During the pandemic, for example, it wasn’t the authorities forcing its will down upon the people, but again, the *people themselves*, begging to be kept “safe” (as if there were such a thing), by any and all possible means. Those at the top, desiring to remain in power, simply responded to the public demand. Failing to see this is what I think of as the “top down” fallacy.
I will not comply. I don’t care what names they call me. If they ostracize me, good, I don’t like them, want nothing to do with them. I feel much better in the company of myself or, if possible, the company of another non-complier.

I got the jab, but I remember people, people I knew, that were screaming that folks would continue dying, because some people would not get the shot. It was bullshit, but it illustrates your point. Once you can see this playing out and realize what it is, it scares the crap out of you.

The most effective tool is, and always has been-- fear. Frightened people are far easier to manipulate and control. Various other ways of course, but good old fashioned installed fear is their go to tool.

I think that this is a great analysis of current techniques of control. I would argue, however, that we're not looking at a left-wing or insurgent movement - there is nothing left-wing or insurgent about Secretary of State Blinken, who never misses a Day of Visibility call-out. It looks like the state apparatus, which ultimately serves capital, is employing control techniques developed by leftists.

If these tactics are indeed manifesting in our society can you point back to the origins and who the players and principals involved are, can you name a group as it would have to be organized to some degree, no? I was banned from setting foot at work for not being vaccinated and therefore spreading covid. This means I was banned for being geneticly inferior(not having the right genetic code in my cells) and desease spreading. This was considered being "inclusive".
