In this video we are going to explore the most dangerous of all psychic epidemics, the mass psychosis. A mass psychosis is an epidemic of madness and it occurs when a large portion of a society loses touch with reality and descends into delusions. Such a phenomenon is not a thing of fiction. Two examples of mass psychoses are the American and European witch hunts 16th and 17th centuries and the rise of totalitarianism in the 20th century.
This video will aim to answer questions surrounding mass psychosis: What is it? How does is start? Has it happened before? Are we experiencing one right now? And if so, how can the stages of a mass psychosis be reversed?
This video took a tremendous amount of work. It truly is a labor of love and if you appreciate this video and want to help support the creation of more videos, please consider supporting After Skool on Patreon - / afterskool

  • It was an honor to collaborate with Academy of Ideas. Their content is incredible. This video has been over a year in the making. I can honestly say I put every ounce of energy I had into this one. After completing this, I am mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted, but...this may be the most important message of our time. I think we can all feel that we are at a very pivotal point. The fate of our world runs along the edge of a knife. If we falter, we may descend into a nightmare. I enjoy exploring positive, enlightening ideas, but it is just as important to explore the dark side as well. Please, if you can, share this video far and wide. Also, if you'd like to help After Skool create more videos like this, please consider supporting on Patreon. Thank you. Much love. www.patreon.com/AfterSkool

    • We are broken lost race, knowledge has bought us near everything we could think we yet want.. But the one thing, the very 1st & last questions. Why. How Really(Not just mass consumed theory's, no matter how liked or plausible.) Who? For the love of... Celestials! Are You About Me?! Do You Hear Me, Ever? God or gods. Lower case plural.. Arhhhhhhh. Would give it all up, all Human knowledge for them answers. Then could set forth on the one true course. The 1 true which has infinite amounts of The 1 True Course. What Was Will Be, What Will Be, Was past. That is obvious until you understand that it is referring to Evolving & devolving as Humans & our Society's, Not Darwinism. Descents into Sin & Debauchery & the other Elevates to an Enlightened, Moral, Class, Honor, Respect. Not for anything but to do what is most right, it is the ultimate form of Being a Human Being. The polar Difference between Dirty & Clean. but we Can just go round & round the theory wheel to we pass ourselves. Therefore wasting the very thing we were trying to understand & workout. HuhHa..:) #StayBlessed!🙏🏼😷🤞🏼

    • I like how you attribute this to the "ruling elite" as if they alone cause this fear-calm cycle. We get it every day from media. That's how they keep us tuning in. What's the next atrocity? Who's being disenfranchised today? What hate crime has been committed? And we buy into it, hook line and sinker, supplying them with our stories because, lets face it, we WANT for other people to hear our troubles. Every time a cop shoots a black person, every time a trans person is persecuted when they're just trying to use the washroom, every time the right wing nutjobs, and the left wing nutjobs clash, we look at those things and say, "Am I next?" Will the next hate crime be on me? Make no mistakes about it, social media like Facebook and Twitter feed the beast with our fears, and media is more than happy to turn it against us.

    • There are people who refuse to see the obvious... and it is a timeless hilarious plight of the human mind... literally Covid-19 kills less people under 30 than influenza.... literally people who have already had Covid-19 rarely get hospitalization or even more rarely die from Covid-19 it is almost negligible.... literally the racist party in the USA openly pushing systemic racism thru welfare dependency, eugenic abortion, poor school choices, and allowing violent crime in the hood is the Democratic party of America..... literally AOC is a misguided manipulated bartender serving poisonous drinks on behalf billionaire elites and then pretending she isn't the elite's pawn but that she is just a girl from the block....literally Trump was investigated for over 3 years and FBI illegally lied to FISA courts to do so.... literally Antifa punks smashing Capitol windows and police moving barriers and opening doors.... literally no officer died from any Jan 6th peaceful protestor.... literally Capitol police shot an unarmed woman in the face.... literally suitcases of pristine mail-in ballots brought out from under tables after press and political opponents sent home.... literally palmed thumb drives.... literally Time magazine admitted elite billionaires fixed the election.... literally the one forensic audit of voting machines allowed demonstrated a 26% change in votes.... literally thousands of dead people voted... literally hundreds of thousands of ineligible people voted.... literally Trump said peacefully march... literally the Big Man Joe Biden got 10% from Russian and Chinese interests... literally Biden admitted stopping Ukrainian corruption investigation to keep his son on an $80,000 / mo salary.... Plato describes this in his Allegory of the Cave. The Wachowski brothers demonstrated this in their film the Matrix. People don’t want to accept the uncomfortable truth... it would be completely comfortable for me to accept the MSM lies and ignore the alternative media, independent media and mounds of forensic evidence.... the cave dwellers and coppertops sit in their cave or lie in their suspended state plugged into a dream world both comfortably watching shadows and simulations of reality and even when a story from Time Magazine part of the MSM (kids in Obama's cages story is classic) tells you the elite billionaires fixed the election... even then, in their simulation they see it and say.... it isn't true, and call the people who show them the real world racists, liars and deplorables... this is hilarious 🤣 😆 😂 and sad. Stay healthy and prepared.

    • @Ben Morris I have a flip phone and a There's many examples from recent times. Such as chemicals, weed killer, rat poison and drugs that are in the food 80 percent of people consume on a daily bases, flouride in water, sex hormones in food and meat chemicals in most foods approved by FDA etc that have been proven to chemically order brain function. Government s if the world who decided to introduce petrol cars which they new were bad for people's health led light bulbs which are extremely bad for health furthermore Scientifically sugar is known and proven as a drug that works the same as cocaine yet you'd be hard pressed to find something on those sillu food shelves that doesn't have a form of sugar even disguised with another name, al the army's of the world when going to war have been documented as having rape squads; the same government who told you smoking and alcohol was healthy originally 1. Vaccinations are based on the "vaccination theory" by science definition, no factual scientific evidence they actually eorkm 2. If you remember they are reporting deaths unrelated to covid as deaths from covid 3. Many young and old people have been having breathing difficulties and problems related to various things in the past they just have not reported it. Hence why flu has supposedly always been killing many people over the years much more than this soap opera has and that's coming from the same people providing you facts and figures for this. 4. Even after people have died they are getting rid of body's so fast in away that does not adhere to the usual cremation process or procedure after death. 5. Most people don't actually have a clear picture of how their relatives die most people are dying alone 6. Many people are dying as a result of the vaccine but they are listing it as non related and they will not push to much of those stories around unless within controlled narrative . 7. If this covid is so deadly and so true why do they have to role out a marketing campaigh. To make people believe the whole think why are they scared to let people express their opinions across platforms. Why is the vaccine patterned Why won't the release a fully undisclosed list of the vaccines ingredients rather than supposedly only a main components list. These are just a few things to question

    • @Ben Morris the supposed proof for vaccines effectiveness is baseless as there's no evidence to conclude that without vaccination which is merely introducing harm to the system to supposedly make it react so it's familiar with the harm; so in the first place it's really about the immune system and not the introduced harm/ vaccine, many people don't take vaccines whole civilisations who have been around and travelled and settled in all conditions everywhere and yet they did not become ill and did not require vaccines to stay healthier than people of today especially in the UK and us they are measuring health based on their own poor health and mortality rate of the past rather than the healthiest civilisations that are around and were around they are referring to their culture and no other; in the case of vaccinations I can theorize they are not needed as the immune system will fight of when it needs to and vaccinations are not factually proven effective infact there's more proof of effectiveness of the immune system especially a healthy one rather than vaccinations which are only proven to produce harmful side effects and linked to long term illnesses

    • Shout out ? Speak up for your cause ? Pick each battle ? Never be out numbered. Sure, a stranger, in a strange environment could feel alone. Like everyone is thinking something. Different. Connect, with what people are thinking about some how? Through government. Through the news paper. If the Journalists, are idiots, write and challenge them ? Challenge the politicians, verbally. Physically resist maybe as, they might be, so weak in body as well as in mind. Refuse. Say no? Don't be afraid to loose your Legal Representation. If they rebel fire them ? Consider these people, are working for £0.02p an hour ? In fact each minute they exist costs them a lot of money. They're not thinking, oh no my earnings dropped below £2 an hour today, how can I pay the Warlords now ? They, are not thinking nothing. Perhaps, laws are in their favour ? Perhaps they are the Warlords. Nobody has challenged the rent they are charging. They are smug, hugging themselves. Satisfaction is theirs, things are going their way. The game, is fixed, so they can't loose perhaps like, The UK House of Lords maybe ? You are deep, deep in their rubbish. The web, of nonsense is getting to you, maybe you don't know how to deal with these people ? Maybe I don't. (I don't). But seriously. They're punks, their whole life won't be worth a minute of my life, or maybe yours. So be patient ? Through spending time, at a bus stop. In town? First among, sensible. Old people perhaps. Never, in a stupid group, you may despise, and definitely not in a group of soldiers, or anyone who, is linked to the military. Maybe someone sensible might emerge or maybe. Most likely there will not be anyone. The fool in a city won't recognize you from a year ago. You will have to be alone this time. With just one ally, that's actually usually enough to get around. That girl who is, so scared for an unknown reason. Don't even bother ? For example, I am walking down the street. Okay, on the left. Traffic, is driving on the left. Approaching are two teenage girls. I give them plenty of space, but one is hysterical. She's walking right into me. She saying how much she is scared to her companion. Do I say : 'Don't be scared little girl?' No. I stop, and give space for her to pass, without bumping into me. I smile. I don't let it bother me. I see, in this situation. That girl, is going to cause me, more trouble the more, I have to do with her. Exact, same spot. Someone is begging in that spot. And, I am pulling out money from a cash machine. Unfortunately, I am really worried about taxis, I can't relax with a taxi around. Waiting for me, to pay wages. I deal, with taxi drivers badly. I can't be bothered to negotiate over fare, in fact. I feel, I should be paying more than they often request. However, I don't feel comfortable riding in a taxi. But, the reality is, to stay out of trouble. Maybe a person needs to ride, not walk. Ok, it flusters me, I feel threatened. Begging is a £1000 fine, 2 police cars drive past. Maybe the Police Officers are sympathetic to beggars, maybe they don't spot the beggar ? They do nothing. They can easily pick me up, for some invented crime. I have already been called to deal with some emergency that's likely a fabrication. For, me. A girl sitting begging. It could be a Beggar, it could be a Mugger. It could be a front to , a violent gang. It's a criminal. Is there a gang around the corner? I just prey they might find a softer target. I made a bad decision to walk home, and pay off the beggar, with her begging letter. Being caught up, in a group, suddenly outnumbered. Especially by teenagers, is the worst experience. They might turn violent. They, are probably scared, have been consuming God knows what. They have tremendous energy to follow up, on the slightest whim. But, have no basic morales. The morale of the tribe is idiotic. They consume alcohol, always and what else are they thinking ? To me, their bodies are shockingly small.

Other actors continue to be outspoken but their timidity on certain issues shows they are really motivated towards money and re-election. Many look to politicians as saviors during hard times. Most are just trying to maneuver themselves into the ruling class. I had hoped that the "Tea Party" would become transpolitical but MAGA actually got closer with a large populist movement. It's not about one candidate (e.g. Trump) or a different party (e.g. GOP) but about keeping people free and informed to make their own choices otherwise they will put us all "back in chains." We still need to throw the bums out. Trump scared them good in 2016 because he was able to navigate the new media with positive messaging of hope. We can do the same thing individually.

We've seen pandemics attempted before, sars, swine flu, bird flu, ebola were all attempts at starting a pandemic. We weren't quite ready though. It makes me wonder if the Trump divide is what allowed covid to flourish. All I know is I've sat back during the pandemic watching people freak out while I've loved a normal life, gone to the gym, taken vacations.. and I just think these people can't be serious. They've allowed covid to become their personality. Unfortunately I've never seen or heard of such an effective programming of society/propaganda. Maybe Hitler convincing the German people that the jews needed to be eradicated but even then that was a small amount of people compared to the whole world. We have technology, mass communication.. I thought that would help us but unfortunately it's caused us to regress instead.

This is evidenced by the fact that all "capitalism" is co'oped by govt thru either financial or regulatory forces and very little pure capitalism exists. However collectivist ideology is replete through all parts of life. Western or otherwise. This is also evidenced in the loss of the "individual" which is inherently a capitalist state of being.

    • After well over six decades on this planet I had my historical/political epiphany about two and half years ago, when you see so much in the world that makes no sense, it is not only pointless to try and rationalise it but actually occassions self-harm, if you are prepared to suspend all "known knowns" and challenge EVERYTHING you have ever seen or been told, you find yourself stepping out of a fixed perspective on the world and then,,,,the light crashes through and all is clear, it is an un-nerving experience but cathartic at the same time. If we are to overcome the absolute evil of what is now being perpetrated, that challenge needs tobe picked up, universally, and very quickly.

    • @@David-ci1vn This is one of the most sensible and clear-headed observations I have heard in some time. I agree with you completely. I am 37 and I have since my teens been a freethinker...thirsting for truth no matter the cost. I have found that many people are peachy fine with the stale assumptions and comfortable bromides of the masses. Whether out of intellectual lethargy or fear of reprisal. And along a similar vein as that quote attributed to Twain, Upton Sinclair once said: "It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it." This has crucial relevance toward all the spinsters in the media who manufacture consent and exploit crisis after crisis. It also has bearing on individuals in positions of authority-- whether government officials or health care professionals-- who avert their eyes of "known knowns" to push an agenda. It is all very disgusting and overwhelming at times. It takes a high degree of intellectual and moral sovereignty to extirpate oneself from this madness, and which is why I feel great admiration for what you expressed. Keep up the good fight and I stand with you!

Most people will allow themselves to be manipulated by the media and will always view politics like a football game. Therefore, it will always be up to those in power to bear the responsibility of not causing division. This applies to both, state actors and owners of large businesses, especially social media platforms. With power comes responsibility.

    @Reglaized@Reglaized29 күн бұрын
    • I respectfully disagree with the paradigm that only those in power affect change. I lean towards the paradigm that grassroot movements will have more power to actually affect the population. A current example is the war in Gaza. The majority of those in power, at least in the US, stood by Israeli despite the overreaction of continual bombing of innocent lives. But as more and more individuals started voicing concerns, the main media finally started questioning the tactics and results. And now that the majority Americans are polling as being against the continual war, our government is starting to pull its support from Israel.

      @terrihutchinson6291@terrihutchinson629125 күн бұрын
    • @@terrihutchinson6291 I don't think it is only those in power who can affect change. But those people at the top of hierarchies have way more power to manipulate and influence the masses than your average Joe. Biden markets himself as the pro-Palestinian candidate and brags about airdropping food/supplies to Gaza. However, the aid delivered is so ridiculously minuscule when compared to the aid packages provided to Israel. Furthermore, many Palestinians were killed while collecting the aid. It's mostly a performative act to get votes. Netanyahu has become the "bully" of the West because he has strong friends who will back him up no matter what. Biden telling Netanyahu not to kill people is not going to work. Netanyahu tells Biden what he is going to do and Biden sends over the billions. The conflict is not going to stop until we have powerful people who are willing to speak up against the funding being provided to Israel. Jews make up 0.2% of the world but 18% of the world's billionaires. Congress is overwhelmingly pro-Israel. Thankfully, people are starting to see through the facade and relying more on media sources such as Al Jazeera. However, to really go up against power - you need power.

We (in the USA) are already roughly half way toward becoming a full authoritarian system. The loss of a free press, manipulation of social media, implementation of group think policies, and division along party lines are major contributors to the relinquishment of freedom. Freedom is lost by first being relinquished by the people in return for the appearance of comfort, non-involvement, and most of all security (the reduction of fear).

Hence, lockdowns, mandating vaccines despite it not preventing transmission, mandating mask based on extremely weak observational studies published by the CDC in their own journal the MMRW. There was a narrative which at some early point may have had merit, but rather than adjust the narrative as information and knowledge advanced, they just kept double downing on the old narrative. A large swathe of society bought into this unfounded narrative based on fear.

It was beginning to interfere with my life and standing in the way of my progress. I deleted all my social media a year and a half later and now I feel very sane and happy. I began exercising, I quit drinking, ate healthy, socializing became easier. My entire life began to change simply by getting off my phone and getting outside. I fear for our youth because they have been conditioned from birth to use smart technology. They are far less likely to break free as I did. The scariest part is imagining what these kids will be like as adults. By pressing 2 buttons on their devices they literally expect a smiling Plumber to appear on their doorstep seconds after and once you’re underway with the work a great many are shocked how quite major work isn’t completed in 30 or 45 minutes as in Home Improvement programmes. People also ask for things that are impossible, a well done steak that isn't dry, chips that are still crispy when they get them home forty minutes later or twenty meals prepared by one cook in fifteen minutes so they can get to the theatre on time. I once gave a customer who always said his soup was cold an order of scalding hot soup served in a bowl I had put under the broiler for ten minutes, it was actually boiling as the server took it away, do I even need to say how this ends?

    • Very true. It’s the same in other areas of work. Even areas like medicine, law, psychology etc. They think that their problems will be solved at touch of a screen and in a day or two and they also expect it to be at virtually no charge, they have no concept of the time, skill and cost that goes into it. But this all because of the instant gratification brought about by technology and living their lives through devices. The major concern this video highlights is the ability of the public to enter a mass delusion. Riots, political sloganeering and the taking up of “causes” without any real analysis are illustrative of how society can rapidly unravel.

  • Seeing this in March 2024 is craaaaazy. This shit really is engineered. I've seen people bend over backwards to accept fascism as normal. The cognitive dissonance is wild. I hope to see more people standing up as opposed to giving up.

    @Evergreenvic@Evergreenvic2 ай бұрын
    • Oh stop saying "cognitive dissonance", it's all anyone ever uses and hardly anyone actually knows what it means. Buzz words don't make people clever or knowledgeable, and such overuse of the same phrases and words renders them ineffective in conversation because they just become like noise from a broken record with no real meaning. Mental illness and psychological disorder is extremely vastly complex, and boiling down literally anyone who cherry picks things to fit their preconceived opinions to "cognitive dissonance" is just ignorant and prevents real understanding, therefore prevents actual solving of these problems. News for you, every single person cherry picks and holds conflicting opinions, whether they realize it or not. That has always been a problem with the human mind, it's in fact fundamental to the very nature of the way we think in terms of polarities, because reality is not one side or the other ever.

  • Thank you for your amazing work. As a homeless man I've watched the population of mentally disturbed people increase more and more everyday for 5 years now. I have witnessed people around me become more detached from reality . I have been looking for answers to this disturbing trend and this video has really put it all into perspective. The scary thing is they don't want to hear the truth , or understand the actual causes of the many problems everyone is experiencing . They want someone else to just fix things for them. Thank you for your video.

  • Having lived 40 years before the Internet boom of the 90s until now, I have witnessed society change from a thinkers to reactors. The Net was initially a resource available to further one's research into life's mysteries and now it has become an addiction to so many. And that addiction is being manipulated to redirect people through a constant barrage of news bites and worthless snippets. At the end of the day the individual's mind is to exhausted for retrospect and critical thinking which are necessary to navigating this thing we call life. Pull back, turn off the electronics and peer into nature for 1 day. It will show you what you're being robbed of.

    • What you're saying is so true. I've found if you just go to a place where everything's natural, you sit down and be still and quiet and after about twenty minutes Nature comes alive. Yes, the breeze and the trees but the animals don't perceive a threat so they resume their natural comings and goings. Try it, it's like magic but real.

  • Waking up to the social fears pushed on people (sometimes hard, sometimes soft, sometimes obvious, sometimes covert) is vital. The us vs them story has been pushed by several countries for many years, and only helps to push people into greater polarity -- often pushing people unconsciously under the "wing" of those with greater power who can now "protect" them from the imagined enemy. Reinforcement of these messages through mass media is common in these situations, as is suppression of alternative narratives, such as of genuine distributed, shared power and responsibility, dialogue and care, etc.
